Bar Indigo in Fylde

Truly superb! We chose the Indigo restaurant to celebrate my Mums 70th birthday. So glad that we did! From start to finish the staff were just wonderful, warm and welcoming. We were thrilled to see they had placed lovely balloons on the table. The food was superb, starters, mains and the kids buffet- all really high quality and delicious. So reasonably priced too. Manager Shaun was a superb host and his team did us proud. Thankyou 🧡

A group of us are here in May on a Friday night. Sadly one of the party found a live snail in their salad. We got a full refund for the dish with the snail however this suggests the kitchen don’t wash their lettuce. We won’t be back.

AMAZING restaurant. came to try out their happy our specials and they did not disappoint. Alongside the cocktails I got the halloumi frites, broccoli and pork belly, all of which were delicious and so well and generously proportioned. All the staff were absolutely lovely and so on it. Would recommend to EVERYONE in the area, would even travel (which I did) from Liverpool for this. Dont let the kooky, albeit lovely, nautical interior fool you, they KNOWN what they’re doing here. Ps: Sonny and Rosy two of my best waiters were a TREAT. Can’t wait to come back.

We had two evening delicious meals. The staff were great too. Friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The service was outstanding. I would like to mention the lovely Maurizio who was very kind and helpful when I found a main ccourse not to my taste. He helped me choose a replacement which I was very happy with. Also thanks to Connor and Fabio who were very helpful and friendly. The choice of food is the same every day but the quality is good. The starters were particularly delicious and well presented.

I my opinion, having eaten in many bistros and restaurants across the UK that offer better value and much better quality food this is one hotel based restaurant I will not be visiting again. The food and poor portion sizes leave a lot to be desired for the prices being charged in my opinion. Not a great range of choice too, although that may be due to COVID restrictions causing the hotel not to be as full as it may be in a normal year. Was a disappointing start to a first and last stay at Hotel housing this restaurant.

Good bar menu from sandwiches, light bites and mains. Pity no great option of keg or craft beer, good selection of largers though. Try the Posh Fish Finger Sandwich....brilliant> Good selection of cocktails on offer

We dined in the restaurant a few times whilst we were staying and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely superb, delicious and plentiful. The staff in the bar are really friendly and helpful and I would recommend indigo for a lovely meal.

Nice place to have a drink and a snack. If the sun had been shining, it would have been lovely to sit on the decked patio area.

Called in for lunch on NYE - not particularly busy but waited over an hour for six snacks - three of which were supposedly “posh fish finger” sandwiches - far from posh - just the cheapest, thinnest frozen fish fingers you could get - it was a shame as previous visits have been ok but won’t be rushing back any time soon after this experience.

...try the amazing Pink gin and tonic at Bar Indigo, lovingly created by the bar steward with strawberries and blueberries. One just wasn't enough! Nice, friendly bar with a good atmosphere and entertainment with a smal dance floor for the more energetic. Everyone was certainly having a good time on the evening we visited.

I have reviewed the hotel today, but we originally only called in for lunch. There is a really good menu with plenty of choice. The staff are friendly and patient

Staying at the Dalmeny hotel whilst waiting for our daughter to arrive decided on a few drinks in the Indigo bar at the hotel,My wife asked for a particular wine and it was found and served my larger was not such a problem the staff are excellent and very friendly after my daughter arrived we chanced another drink before getting ready for the night out

Great for a quick lunch. I would recommend their Indigo Burger and Pizza. In the evening you can get finger snacks, You have to queue in the evening it gets quite busy and only two staff were on who are taking food orders as well.

The hotel policy seems to be to encourage patrons to eat in the restaurant. Consequently the choices in the bar are very limited and the drinks prices are high. Surroundings are nice and the sun terrace is very pleasant weather permitting (it is Lancashire after all). For my part I find the Ibiza style chill out music too pervasive to be relaxing.

Played all the sports that were on over the weekend (Leicester vs Man Utd, Snooker Championships etc.) Slightly slow food in busy times but were happy to deliver elsewhere in hotel.

We particularly liked the meals. Small plates and a dessert seemed good value. The Dalmeny sweets have always been good and this tradition continues.

Meals only served till 4pm then just tapas and pizzas (if they don't run out) Had to stop serving at 8.30 as they were too busy in other parts of the hote

Stayed at the dalmeny 24/25th July 2015 with my family we ate in the indigo both nights grand kids loved the pizzas the hotel was full and the bar was very busy from 5pm onwards.however Peter the batman and the rest of the bar staff were brilliant in taking food and drink orders plus finding tables for large families to sit together there was a 20 min wait one night but that's to be expected.the girls serving the food were excellent.We enjoyed our stay can't fault this hotel.try it.

Nice bar, good staff, had some entertainment on for us. Only downer was they left the TV on with darts matches which the singer was trying to compete with.

Not sure what has happened recently here but something needs to change. Bar the soup was the food was cold and just average.The gaps between the 3 courses was ridiculous and the condiments we requested were delivered just as we finished our mains. It took an age for them to clear the table between courses. In total there were 17 people in the place - half of which were just drinking.We voiced our concerns to 2 members of staff, 1 did nothing the other said they would get the manager. The manager never materialised.Despite cold food etc nothing was knocked off the bill and we received little apology. Bar Indigo used to be lovely with good food and attentive service but no longer and the place is getting the feel of a sports bar.Overall would not recommend and will not be returning.

I was staying at nearby hotel which didn't have a restaurant and I didn't have the energy that evening to walk the extra steps into town so thought I'd try Bar Indigo in the Dalmeny Hotel. I was glad I did. I had the Stilton and walnut stuffed flat mushrooms to start - mushrooms, Stilton and walnuts. Yum. For my main I had the Dalmeny Meat Feast pizza. I am a bit of a stickler when it comes to pizza - I like a thin crust and I must have an even distribution of toppings - right up to the edge of the crust. The Dalmeny Meat Feast did not disappoint. As the waiter happily obliged my request for extra parmesan to sprinkle on top, my pizza enjoyment was complete. Combine the above with the fact that the wine was most lovely and the restaurant had wifi I could tap into to do some work, and the dining experience ticked all the boxes. I'll be back for another meal again soon.
