Bar B.Q House~ in Rutland

Had takeout delivery. Pizza, Burger & 2 Kebabs. Waited well over an hour & 1/2 for delivery. Queried delay by phone and got a stressed abrupt response with phone being put down before call ended. When food finally arrived it was awful, kebabs beyond dry, extremely salty, pizza burnt, garlic pizza greasy and salty. Will never use again just awful!

I was over charged for my food, when challenged nothing was done, took the food home it was awful, never again, very poor service, attitude of being the only late place that opens for food!!! Eastern Delight is the best….

If I could give zero star I would. Over two hours for food to be delivered when we called to ask where it was got told it was in the oven and that’s it no time etc. when it finally arrived the pizza and burgers were cold.

Ordered at 5.10pm on a Saturday, minimum for delivery was £25 so had to order more than we actually wanted but that was our problem not theirs. Site stated 60 mins for delivery not unexpected for a Saturday night. Waited till 6.25pm then rang to see if it was coming they guy that answered said "I'll check" and hung up!! 5 minutes later I got an email saying my food would be delivered by 7.09pm, 2 hours after ordering. It turned up at 7.08pm with the driver saying we crazy busy, they had my number they could have just let me know!!! I'd like to say it was worth the wait but I would be lying. The "fillet" bugers were processed burgers, the garlic mayo dips we ordered were mint raita and the chicken strips looked like a dogs dinner. It was all very greasy and not at all enjoyable most of it went in the bin. I can excuse a long wait due to a busy evening I will not excuse the wait then substandard food.

Pizza was lovley cooked within 10 mins friendly staff. Prices were reasonable. Will call in again if passing

Food took almost 2 hours to arrive, ordered a pizza for myself and a cheeseburger for my daughter. Pizza was soggy and not hot. Cheeseburger wasn’t a cheeseburger, it was a chicken burger, the bun was burnt and obviously not what was ordered. When I phoned to ask where our order was, the response I got was that they were very busy.. on a Monday?! Definitely WOULD NOT recommend. Never buying from there again

Took over an hour and half to come, there was a hair in the food that resembled a pubic hair, it tasted like the food had gone off, overall shocking, no apology for how long it took to come and the food was horrible, do not ever order from this vile place

Waited 2 hours after placing order on justeat. No answer when tried to call. Food didn’t arrive. Cancelled the order and because of that I also couldn’t leave a review on just eat. So leaving a comment on here instead to hopefully save someone having to eat cheese on toast at 2146.

If you want to wait a long time for average food only to receive a wrong order (again) and then have to navigate the rude and arrogant staff that have zero skills in customer service then feel free to use.....but don’t complain ! The worst service I have ever had and am only asking for food to be delivered and if wrong for it to be replaced! Wow

These guys deleted our order by 1 and a half hours and then didn’t turn up. I called them and they said they’d cancelled the order. No care at all. They refunded me £3!!!!!!

Placed an order for collection via just eat at 7pm on New Year’s Eve. Confirmation email to say order would be ready at 8:10. Arrive at 8:10 to collect our order to be told they hadn’t received any order. Showed them the evidence of our confirmed order and the email confirming payment. Extremely unhelpful and rude shop staff stated it’s not our problem contact just eat! Appalling customer service especially in these uncertain times where you’d thing any business would be greatly appreciated?!? Clearly not. I’m sure the other various local takeaways will greatly appreciate my custom and cash. Bar B Q house will never see any of it again.......

Absolutely disgusted with the service received at bar.b.q house! We ordered online, had to collect, husband was left waiting 10+ mins after speaking to staff to then find out food had been sat on the side the whole time. Once home food was missing. Husband called and only solution they had was to give credit for next time HA! they refused to deliver missing items. Husband was told it would be ready and waiting when he went back, it wasn’t! He was then told (and this is the best bit) WE should be grateful that we even received half our meal because they are busy! Once home my husbands missing item was to burnt to eat. A google reviews include flies in food, bar.b.q house’s response “it’s normal for flies to end up in food” others include awful/rude service, missing food and uncooked meals. Would you eat there?

We ordered Saturday evening at a peak time. Still, it was a quick delivery. As I understood it was unfortunate for others. wildbloom& : If you were rude and stupid and snob to them as you wrote here I think you got what you deserve, NOTHING. Go and judge your self hungrybloodybloom. HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa

Ordered a collection last week - was ready when I arrived to pick it up. We enjoyed it so much, I will be ordering tonight for collection on the way home. Can't fault the quality or the service - Thanks

Absolute joke of a place. A hilarious conversation. Took them 40 minutes to tell us they can’t deliver (I’m sorry, why did you put ‘delivery’ then?) and that WE hahahaha, WE have to call JustEat to get a refund, because they are apparently too dumb to know how to call them themselves. Patronising us by calling us ‘darling’ on the phone isn’t going to make it better, sweethearts. They must *truly* be idiots if they can’t sort out their own orders - good luck owning a business with a brain the size of a walnut, ‘darlings’ xxx

Placed an order through Just Eat for delivery, they then called me half an hour after I’d placed the order to demand I come collect the order because we were too far away... it’s a 12 minute drive!! And they should not have the option for delivery if they are not willing or able to deliver. Awful service.

Ordered a takeaway at 830 for delivery rang to see where it was 1hour 30 afterwards then was told they was busy will be 40 minutes don’t think I want my takeaway at 11!! When I ordered it at 830 ridiculous won’t be using you ever again and you took my number why didn’t you ring to let me know pathetic service Easties all the way now !!! Not even an apology

New management .so we gave it a try.Order taken quickly 6.45 pm .We had Doner kebabs and extra meat with salad mix kebabs ,chips and chicken .Asked to come back at 7.10pm arrived and food all packed up and ready to go ,free bottle of pop thrown in .food was nice and hot .tip take cash and thermal bag .
