Bap in Stockport

I nipped in here for a quick breakfast. I had a sausage and bacon barm, decent enough bacon and sausage and a good latte at a reasonable price. Pleasant service. Do a good range of sandwiches in the daytime. A good value and tasty place.

They now advertise that they do a full English breakfast. The first time I went in to try it (a couple of weeks or so ago) the “equipment” was broken so they couldn’t cook. OK, these things happen. I tried again today but they didn’t have any eggs because they don’t sell enough to make it worthwhile ordering them! I thus ordered the not-so-full English (everything else except the eggs) and got bacon, two sausages, baked beans and a toasted bap. The baked beans were only luke warm because they had only just been put on to warm (0830!) and it didn’t seem to occur to them that, just behind the counter, was a microwave which would have heated them in a very short time. The three pre-packed portion control butter pats supplied with the “toast” (a toasted bap, not toasted bread) were so melted as to ooze the butter out as soon as they were picked up. Why advertise a full English breakfast, which shows eggs on the poster advertising it, if you are unable to provide it because you don’t stock eggs? But the coffee was very good! All in all, a big disappointment as there seem to be very few places in the centre of Stockport that do early breakfasts around 8:00am(ish).

I visited this cafe around 7.45 in the morning. Great service, great coffee. Chatted to friendly lady who is a regular customer, lovely ambience. I proceeded to take my coffee and newspaper outside, a very relaxed hour spent here.

Called in here for a bite to eat today. Came out hungry as on closer inspection my baguette had mold on it and on reading the other reviews this is not an isolated incident. We got a full refund from the polite girl who served us and left.

Had a coffee and bap here, nothing special. To be honest, BAP seems to be copying the Subway model, so the bapping process is formulaic and designed to be as cost-effective as possible, with all humanity and love removed from the act of serving food. This does give you a cheap bap, but also a crap bap. Get what you pay for, I suppose.

The one think I always rate is Value for Money and this cafe certainly does not offer that. I used to go in for a wrap or a baked potato and would always come out disappointed by the amount of filling. I have even had an instance when a more senior member of staff came over and took some filling out of my wrap in front of me, as the junior member of staff had obviously breached the 'stingy filling' rule! Very over priced for what you get and I would strongly advise eating somewhere else!

Fast and friendly service from a member of staff who was thankfully more awake than I was. Microwaved bacon and sausage barm looked horrifically uninspiring sitting there on a dirty plate, but tasted just about OK. Coffee was good. Not bad value for money and the premises looked clean and tidy. Not adverse to a return visit.

Had a jacket potato with cheese,very tasty, Clean & comfortable. A good variety of food served.Would visit again for a quick bite.

I have meant to go in this place for a while, They do a range of sandwiches I ordered a carribean chicken baguette the largest size, you get a whole range of salad bits, lettuce, cucumber, olives, chilli's and other bits and pieces including cheese, and you can have various sauces,which was a bit similar to subway, the sandwich was very tasty and packed full of goodies and very filling. Along with this sandwich as part of the meal deal I had a cookie which was pleasant enough you could get a packet of crisps or a piece of fruit if you did not want a cookie. To go along with this you could get a canned drink or a bottle of water, for £5.00 which I thought was good value.They do a range of other things including jacket potatoes, cakes and other things you would not get at a subway.They currently have 6 branches and are expanding, which in my mind is good news.The service was efficient, professional and friendly.

Pobre señora estaba trabajando solita y la tienda estaba muy concurrida, ya que era la hora del desayuno, pedimos dos desayunos que no estaban calientes cuando llegaron y mi tostada también estaba mohosa. No creas que volveremos, lo siento.Tengo que entregárselo a la trabajadora, ella mantuvo la calma por su cuenta tratando con todos los clientes.

The title pretty much sums it all up. Really enjoyed my large BLT sandwich it was hot and fresh. It also came with a drink and a bag of crisps. Very clean place and friendly service

Wanted a quick lunch and ordered a prir burner mega baguette. Made right in front of me with right amount of pickles and peppers. Got what a needed and took a coffee out with me to drink in the cab

Good prices and quick service. Nice and clean and friendly. Been here couple of times as work in Stockport. Always great value and don't have to wait as quick service. Recommend meal deal or even breakfast deal

Llamado a bap en Stockport hoy para comer, era nuestra primera vez y fue fantástico.

Me encanta este lugar. Puedes conseguir un plato de ensalada y bebida por 3 libras o una medida de tamaño pab hizo £3 o una chaqueta de patatas. Usted puede elegir qué carne, queso, etc. desea y tienen unos 15 ensaladas para escoger, entonces tienes que elegir si desea o no tener a la parrilla y también agregar una salsa de su elección. También venden patatas fritas y galletas que vienen gratis con algunas comidas. Siempre está limpio y por el precio que sería difícil encontrar una mejor oferta en el centro de la ciudad de Stockport.

La chica detrás del mostrador fue grosera, era la primera vez que había estado aquí y no entendía completamente cómo ordenar o qué estaba incluido, me hizo sentir muy estúpida por eso.

Very friendly staff, good cheap quick food. Wifi would be a bonus but you can't expect it for the prices .Good selection of meats & sauces for hot & cold sandwiches

Tenía un café con leche, que era muy agradable. El café con leche no era caro pero no recuerdo qué padre pagamos. El servicio era muy bueno y agradable personal. No hay conexión Wi-Fi, como tal, pero una mesa se puede usar Greggs Wi-Fi gratis. Podría hacer con algunos puntos de corriente para pastillas y teléfonos como un servicio gratuito y Wi Fi. El lugar tiene una clasificación de higiene de 5 y el último fue inspeccionado el 22 2013 febrero.
