Bao Bun in Belfast

Personal encantador, servicio encantador y comida increíble! ¡No puedo esperar para volver y probar uno diferente! Caja de arroz de cerdo Sechuan era delicioso con aderezo de la casa!

Primera vez que visito, pero ha estado en nuestra lista por un tiempo. El personal encantador que era tan servicial en explicar todas las opciones y la comida no decepcionó! Muy sabroso. Probamos 4 opciones diferentes de proteínas en nuestros bollos de bao y todos estaban deliciosos, al igual que los ingredientes y salsas. Volveremos pronto.

Good food, overshadowed by unprofessional staff. You’ll feel like your interrupting their private conversations when you walk in, then continue to talk to each other while you’re trying to order. I wouldn’t mind if they were talking about food orders but it’s completely unrelated! The food is great, but we’ve been put off returning after sitting in and having to listen to the way staff talked about customers as soon as they left the store. It’s a small store and they don’t seem worried about customers hearing them. Made it a very awkward experience!

This is fast food Asian style - we took the meal options which included drinks, and in my opinion when you consider the quality, variety, freshness and flavour compares very favourably to MCD KFC BK et al, that I have seen some people compare to in their reviews. The ingredients seemed to be excellent quality, and that costs. I thought it was excellent value, and the spicy chips were very crisp and hot. I'll be good next time and have salad instead as the chip portion is very generous. They don't mind doing different fillings for each bao bun, and there are an equal number of vegan and non-veg options for the filling, which is great for a mixed party. The staff were excellent and we were given a complimentary dessert they are trying out, deep fried smaller bao buns in cinnamon and sugar with biscoff dipping sauce. Very yummy. The staff were very friendly, and by the way it gets cold in there fast if someone (Delivery drivers for example!) leaves the door open.

Food was very nice although it was almost ruined due to the attitude given by the worker. As soon as we entered she was very cheeky about closing the door and her general persona was very belittling. She was also rude about cutlery - telling us not to put it the bin. I can appreciate that workers can experience a bad day, but I’ve never experienced someone so ill-mannered working in customer service. It truly angered me and needs to be sorted out - people cannot be spoken to in a belittling manner as soon as they walk through the door !!!!

Was so good the first time that we went again a few days later. The food is really good with great flavours. Desert is sublime! The portion size is large and althoigh it's not the cheapest, it certainly is worth the money. I will be back next time in Belfast. Staff were super friendly too. Thanks Bao Bun

The prices in here are getting bigger and bigger...the portions keep getting smaller and smaller!! The customer alwsys serms to loose out!
