Bangkok Palace in Aberdeen City

My favourite place to get my nails done! Very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and there is always jasmine tea on the table. My gel lasts for a month and my nails are super healthy. Absolutely 10 out of 10 🙂

What a fantastic massage and I’ve had many!! The lady asked for any problem areas and she really worked it….My shoulder has felt amazing since. I felt very at ease and the venue was beautifully decorated and very clean. I was only visiting Aberdeen but if I lived there I’d be a regular at Bangkok Palace. Thanxxx so much xxx

No not good at all this place was an amazing massage in the old place but now its just a bad treatment from start to finish from the way they talk and treat you to the cold room that you can't relax in due to the noise from other rooms or the talking from the therapist to each other Go once for a laugh

Been to several places for massage in Aberdeen for back tightness. This place is the best I've found if you want a good strong massage. Therapists well trained, polite. Rooms are comfortable.

I was given a thai massage for 1 hour and was happy to feel less tense in my shoulders after the massage, however I had generally found it difficult to relax and feel at ease during the session and felt the masseur had gone about everything in a very hasty manner. For example, only one side of my neck and face were massaged with the other side just being ignored. During the session, the masseur suddenly had to leave the room for something and a while later a colleague walked in. She and the masseur started discussing something while the masseur continued massaging me. I have definitely had much better massages in the past and would not recommend Bangkok Palace for massages.

Beware. I have had increasingly rude conversation on the phone when trying to make an appt at this place. I cannot seem to book an appt for a pedicure here.... unless you say you want a shellac pedicure! When request is made for a normal pedicure, they consistently say no! but as soon as you say shellac pedicure, they have all the appts available! I said I dont want to pay extra for shellac nails just normal polish and the wouldn't book the appt! I was not allowed to decide during the appt either! they are just wanting more money.. ! They have also started charging extra for removing any nail polish that might be on your toes which is absolutely ridiculous. Another issue I've had recently is that when booking the pedicure, they kept saying no appts for without shellac, however as soon as I mention that i want to book a massage as well, they are quick to book. Girl was very rude during the appt and constantly kept forcing to pay extra for shellac polish/nails. Massages are not quite what they used to be, very rushed and far from relaxing. I used to really like the thai massages here. This is supposed to be a place to go to relax however, it creates an incredibly stressful, money grabbing environment. Highly frustrated and disappointing. And incredibly angry at being treated so rudely.

When I first moved to Aberdeen I tried Bangkok Palace to treat myself to shellac. I struck gold - they are amazing! The staff know exactly how to make my nails and hands look beautiful. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and come away feeling pampered, and their prices are very reasonable. I tried another nail bar when I was away and I wish I hadn't bothered - but the lady at Bangkok Palace even sorted out the mess the other nail place made. Since my first visit I go regularly for Shellac and eyebrow threading. I have also had a full body massage, which left me feeling incredible. The masseuse even managed to sort out my dodgy shoulder. I can't praise Bangkok Palace enough, they are a gem in Aberdeen.

Habíamos oído hablar bien así que cuando en Duthie Park decidimos pop al otro lado. Los precios del pub pintas y donde más puede conseguir Guiness con comida tailandesa? La comida era de primera categoría y excelente relación calidad-precio, aproximadamente la mitad del precio de Union St. amable boozer. Volveremos.

Si quieres comer en un pub junto a la mesa de billar que bien. Pero las críticas de la comida son en mi opinión forma sobre la marca. Quizás es porque me vienen de Australia y he estado en Tailandia pero la cood es normal en el mejor de los casos.

Habiendo sabido este restaurante tailandés eso es parte del pub de Abergeldie mi hermana y yo pensamos en probarlo por la primera vez. Éramos los únicos comensales en el pub en el tiempo aunque sus comida para llevar parecía estar bien.

Love this place. We go for the food not the setting, the food is fantastic so give it a try. Highly recommended.

Una joya escondida. lo curioso es que llamar un timbre en la parte trasera de un pub Aberdeen (completa con futbolín en el tellie's Mexican restaurant - 1 km.) y tienen arroy auténtico Mak Mak comida tailandesa en su mesa. detrás de una puerta de madera sale excelente gai laab, curry y manow meung pla, y más. Como antiguo residente de expatriados en Tailandia, recomiendo la cocina aquí. Si estás bien con el ambiente de pub, la comida tailandesa es una de las mejores que encontrará en Aberdeen.

nunca lo encontrar este lugar si no fuera por TripAdvisor. En la parte trasera del pub de Abergeldy encontrará una pequeña "timbre de señal para la comida". es surrealista. Si esto era un restaurante tailandés en el highstreet sería lleno de gente cada noche. La calidad es realmente excelente. Por el momento, tendrá que aceptar que es parte de un antiguo pub, a unos 1,6 km de distancia del centro de la ciudad.

La comida es fresca y deliciosa, y el servicio es estupendo. Sí, está en la parte de atrás del Abergeldy Bar pero me pareció bastante entrañable. siempre se puede tener una comida para llevar en vez que es de la misma alta calidad como la comida del restaurante. probar las sopas son fantásticos.

Visitamos el Bangkok Palace haber visto los demás positivo comentarios en Tripadvisor. Sabíamos que estábamos dirigirse a un pub, pero esperaba que la zona de comedor que han sido separadas de alguna manera. resultó que era la parte trasera del bar, bar y mesas.

Popped in on my way home from work for a take away. It feels a little bizarre but ask at the bar for a pint and a take away. A wee bell is pressed and the waiter appears with a menu , the choice was very good , the food was excellent and ready before I had time to drink a lovely pint of Tennents. I was wishing I had sat in the resturaunt which is located in the lounge area .Worth a try even for the novelty value ! I will definitely return.

This place is amazing. It is a bit hard to find (enter the pub, walk towards the pool table and in the far right corner theres a doorbell which you ring), and you're basically eating in a pub, but its a friendly comfortable pub and the amazing food more than makes up for it. If you don't like eating in a pub then they do takeaway / delivery. Either way, if you like Thai food, you must try this place. I've tried all the other Thai restaurants in Aberdeen and been very disappointed until now. Highly recommended!

This small Thai eatery is based at one end of a pub. The pub as at the basic end of the scale but the staff and locals were friendly and it seemed surprisingly well looked after and clean. The Thai food section is only open 5pm-9pm most days but there is an interesting variety of options and everything we ate was authentic and full of flavour.

When you enter the Abergeldie Bar lounge that shares with the Bangkok Palace Restaurant one of the authentic Thai eatery's in the Granite City family run. The decor is Scottish pub style and drinks are at pub prices the food is genuine Thai ( or in Ahan Thai ) tasty and fresh and wont empty your wallet try it and be impressed.

One of the best take away Tai food I have had. It was very authentic and fresh. My husband and I will for sure go to the restaurant and try it again.

Most authentic Thai I've had outside of SE Asia. The food is delicious and the staff is so friendly! Papaya salad and the green curry with coconut rice is my favorite but everything I've had on the menu has been wonderful. It's our go to place! It's cash only, so don't forget your notes!

most authentic thai meal i've had in aberdeen. the papaya salad is the best and so is the laab with pork or beef. don't forget the sticky rice. my friends and i enjoy going to the abergeldie bar to eat in and have also had take away multiple times. i moved here from Houston, and this is the closest thing to great thai food that i've found! keep up the awesome cooking =)

Went to a friends the other day and she ordered take away for lunch. The food was yummy, Some of the best Thai food I've eaten in Aberdeen! My husband and I plan to go have dinner in the restaurant very soon. Cheers

My girlfriend and I ordered a takeaway from here the other day and we loved it! I had heard about this place from a friend so being a huge lover of Thai food it was a no brainer to give this place a try. We checked out the menu online and decided to order the squid salad to share as a starter. My gf had the Chicken Panang Curry and I had the Siam Beef. All the food was top notch and cost £21.40 for 3 mains and 1 rice. The order process over the phone was easy and delivery was quick and free (also 10% off of menu prices for deliveries). This place is contained within the Abergeldie Bar and having driven past on a few occasions I've never noticed any signs for the Bangkok Palace despite being able to sit in the Abergeldie and enjoy the Thai food from here. Difficult to find or even know about unless through word of mouth.Try it!
