Bamford Balti Express in Rochdale

Food wasn't nearly as good as previous orders we have had. The potato fritters were soggy and the chips weren't good. Beauty of Asam that is usually lovely, was too thick and bland. For £45 for two meals we expected better quality. Disappointing.

2nd time ordering from here and have to say, was well worth it. quality food, defo our favourite takeout so far.

Perfect food, just pricey compared to years ago but there's no getting away from it these days, just means i can't enjoy as often as i used to.

Freshly made everything! You cam just tell if something has been sat festering but not here! The absolute best masala sauce I've seen in a while. Perfect thickness, and zero pooling of excess grease on the top, curry chef is a credit to the kitchen!

Both starters were undercooked and the tandoori chicken was over cooked making the chicken hard and tough .. we have ordered from here many times and this is the only time we have had a bad meal. So over all this isn’t a bad thing but was just a disappointing meal for the cost of it

Order was missing item rang the shop was not really interested just said get a refund from just eat but that’s not possible as payed cash been using curry house for years but not again after this second time it’s happened in last 3 orders

The order was placed early with a specific time of 6pm after not arriving by 6.15 the takeaway was rang to be informed it had still not left and the phone put down on us. By 6.35 the meal arrived, with an apology from the driver. One of the meals was a vindaloo and was as hot as expected the other was a medium spiced dish,which turned out to be even hotter than the vindaloo and was almost inedible.

We ordered chicken tikka naans. Unfortunately the quality of the ingredients was completely spoilt by the soggy naan bread. The chicken must of had juice that was allowed to sit on the bread making it all red and soggy. Such a shame, won’t be order.

Can never ever fault this place. Love it. Our no1 go to for Indian food. We live in milnrow and although milnrow Balti is extremely good and has won so many awards, Bamford Balti, in my opinion, is tastier

They had the wrong house number on the order which I can’t understand because it’s correct on my just eat account. Therefore the food came out and went back to the restaurant. Once I got in contact they remade the order and it came quickly thanks.

Don't know what's gone wrong usually the food from here is lovely, but tonight it was horrible, the curry sauce was thick and tasteless and I couldn't eat the meat it was really tough and hard, so most of it went in the bin. Don't think I will be ordering again sorry.

As usual, great food. Delicious flavours and obviously very fresh. As usual, ready a bit later than requested and confirmed (collection)! But it's a friendly enough place to have to wait.

Had been ordering from here for a very long time . Always getting very much the same thing . I have witnessed quality going done over time and multiple mistakes made . Lost count now when you sent a mild vindaloo . What indian place does a mild vindaloo ?? Tonight you sent me a sour vindaloo, I can taste the raw tomato and no spice whatsoever . This will be my last order with you .

We have had 3 x takeaways from this restaurant recently and it is absolutely beautiful. The nicest curry we have had in a long time. The starters, sides and mains all 5 star. The staff cannot do enough for you, and the delivery drivers are so lovely! We cannot wait to come to the restaurant for a meal and then treat my parents to the set meal for 4!

Best Indian in Rochdale, a must try if you haven't already, staff are so friendly and they do free delivery too if you order on their website. Chessy chips are too die for.

Ordered online as response to a flyer received recently It offered good prices and free delivery My order was passed across to Just eat. One £ or more was added to the cost of each item and I was was charged £3.50 delivery. Order was placed for 9 to 9.30pm but arrived at 8.30pm. King prawn Puri had about 4 prawns and very little flavour and the breads were chewy Won't be bothering again

Ordered pakora and lamb tiki Plus sides Both the meats very very tough couldn’t even chew it pakora not at all crispy Phoned they said they would replace but the moment as gone now to wait for another order to come asked for a refund absolutely no was the answer As I got a leaflet through door thought I’d try them I will not be ordering again waste of £25

Not only is the food superb, but the service is amazing. We've only been a handful of times as it's near to a friend's place but they know our names and our order as soon as we walk in!! Love it!

Took our money and never delivered i would not order on line this is not the first time they have done this. Save the hassle order somewhere else. Stay clear.

Extortionate prices for average food. Mixed grill was OK, had to pay extra for sauce. Poppadoms £1 each then have to pay an extra £1 for any sauces. £1 for mint sauce which you get free with other takeaways is just ridiculous! Chicken curry was again just OK, nothing special and not really any spice to it. Garlic naan was really tough and rubbery, plus not very much garlic taste. Nearly £40 for our order for 2 people, my partner asked to check again as he didn't think it was right but was told that was the correct price. I've added it up on the menu and we was in fact over charged. We went out to eat at a well known carvery resteraunt last week and 4 of us ate including 1 starter and 2 desserts and had drinks for less than this! We definitely won't be ordering from here again!

Order from here tonight because there was a menu through the door. We got the set meal for two and swapped the Korma for a Dhansak. No problem. It came in 30 minutes which was quicker than the 45 originally quoted. Driver seemed friendly and business like. Food was excellent. Lamb cooked perfectly. Nice sized portions. We couldn't eat both curries, so one will be tomorrows tea. I don't order out very often, but I'm glad I ordered from here this time. Thanks.

Great food, really fresh crispy sald. Fresh sauces. Really good all round slight issue with the order at 1st however that was easily sorted out. Will definately re order.

I ordered a takeaway.Opening the bag to see the curry sauce had leaked on to the other containers of foods. I was prepared to forgive this,until I had the fish dish. I had asked when ordering,if the food was it hfreshly cooked. It had to be 3-4 days old. The rest of the food was below standard. It was expensive, plus I had been overcharged. I think they get a way with it because it's the only one in walking distance.

New favourite Indian, the range of dishes is fantastic and they've been great every time. Working my way through the chef's specials until I find The One.

Absolutely shocking....£46 for a couple of kebabs and 2 curry sauces... telephoned to sort it out and they hung up....avoid this place at all costs....gutted. most expensive curry sauce I've ever had in my life.
