Had a family celebration with 12 of us in the restaurant. Can’t score it highly enough. Food was exceptional, very generous portions and staff couldn’t have been more Helpful. They went beyond what was expected to make it really special. Everyone was delighted with the food. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you

Great experience we had last night at this restaurant . Well maintained, clean, and delicious food . They have all you can eat option and they do delivery. Prices for food are great and the place is quiet . At the end of our food we been served with fortune cookies.

Got a flyer through today so thought would give it a try, pleased we did, the chowmein was a good large sized portion and had lovely flavour and not greasy 😋 the chicken balls were huge and plenty of them again nice flavour and not greasy. Delivery took only half an hour (mid week ordered at 5pm) so over all 5* from me and will definitely order again.

The food wasn't too bad, the service is no comment, not bad prices... Food list is without any pictures or size... I won't go there again... Sorry!

I had this food for takeaway. Food was very good. We came restaurant to try yesterday. Food is perfect.,waiter is cute and service was lovely.

Avoid avoid avoid! The worst takeaway experience I've ever had! We ordered by phone at 7:30pm Friday evening, went in to collect at 8pm as agreed. Firstly they tried to overcharge me, then honoured the price on the phone. I then waited and waited for a total of 35 minutes in the restaurant for our food. That made over an hour of waiting for the food. During this time all I could hear was constant shouting in the kitchen in Chinese (it didn't sound like a nice place to work). More and more people came in to collect orders that weren't ready (there were actually five people and an Uber driver waiting for their orders after me!). I then got the food home to find that several dishes were missing and that there was food we hadn't ordered. By this point we were past starving so ate the food we were given. The food was very average, the chicken was dry and overcooked and some of it was extremely greasy. I presume part of the food we were given might have been someone else's order. I then rang to complain about our experience. Not once did I get a sorry or apology on the phone. I was actually made to repeat my complaints no less than three times, interrupted by outbursts of Chinese shouting obviously directed at whoever was standing next to the person who had taken my call. They were actually quite rude on the phone. I was eventually offered 10% off a future purchase, and if we had returned our food they said they would have given us the missing starters. Considering I'd explained that we had eaten the food because of the ridiculous wait, I don't really see how that would have been possible! I gave up in the end as quite frankly I'm never using Bamboo House ever again. This is not how customer service should work. I'm not the type of person to complain normally, but this was a truly awful experience.

Great food, however service was extremely slow. Took over half an hour to get the bill after asking twice. If you are looking forward to the buffet, be aware it isn't a traditional buffet. It's more of a "bottomless" situation as you are asked to order 6 items from the menu at a time. This is still great value however if you leave leftovers you may be charged by weight. My partner and I did not order enough items to meet the buffet cost so the restaurant only charged us for one buffet price, and although I wouldn't count on them bending the rules this was very kind of them. The woman in charge was very lovely and seemed to be doing an awesome job of juggling everything up front until the waiters arrived about half an hour into our visit. When we first arrived there was some kind of strobe light flashing onto our table constantly (owch my eyes!) but it was turned off shortly later so NBD. We saw one group get up to ask for another flashing light to be turned off and the staff were quickly accommodating. Overall a good experience although we won't be doing the buffet again since we can't order enough to make it worth it. Thank you bamboo house!

Shockingly bad service. Food took an hour to arrive and we had pre-ordered. Don't accept large groups if you don't have the staff to manage them. I left before my main course arrived having been there for nearly two hours!

Me and my friends were really disappointed with this whole experience the food was far from fresh & overall hygiene was scary please avoid at all costs xx

The duck is very delicious😋. They used 4/1 duck to serve 6-piece pancakes, but now they serve 10-piece pancakes🫓and the price has not changed. I will order again next time👍

Very disappointing. We arrived early evening, restaurant cold. Waitress came to take food order and we asked if we could order drinks first. When they came we ordered our starter and main meal. Waiter came out with wrong main meal when we asked where our starter was! Then they brought them out together. Afterwards we got up to pay and leave and was then told they only take cash. No apologies for bad service or not telling us at the beginning that they don’t take credit cards. We won’t be returning.

This was Hong Kong change owner ship and cooks .prices reasonable. The food duck was moist and lots of it only 6 pancakes would like ten like most others with set meal . Chips give them a miss , chicken was dry bit the sauce was very good and had plenty luckily . Park on mkt Sq . They are upgrading interior looking more fresh atmosphere not vibrant yet and no back ground music . Think it will improve when established.

Ordered a completely vegan meal (which was already difficult because the woman taking the order didn’t know what dairy was and asked us to spell it). We made sure there was no fish or milk in anything we had ordered and everything seemed okay. The food arrived and our curry had been up sold to a curry with every animal under the sun in it. This was our only curry and would of been our main. We spoke to the restaurant and after being told repeatedly that it was our fault and we didn’t understand, it was agreed that the curry would be delivered again, by this point we had just given up on what was supposed to be a treat with family ahead of a hospital appointment this week. Probably the worst service I’ve ever had, would never order here again. First and last time ordering from here. Also it is very pricey compared to other Chinese restaurants around here.

Was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant. Food is authentic, very well cooked and nicely presented - could tell the owner takes pride in the quality. *Liked most* . Flavours - it was authentic Variety - so much is available. If you're into Asian food, you will be pleased Price - very reasonably priced given the location (right on markets square) and service provided. I expected it to be slightly higher Overall, highly recommended. I'll definitely be going again next week itself. 👍

Lovely food, lots of choice, Japanese, Thai, and Chinese. Good value for money. Service was slow, which was surprising as they had loads of spare tables. Maybe they were busy with takeaways. The young girls serving were polite but still need a lot more experience on serving.

Bamboo house heavily invests time into authentic flavours and presentation. It offers new food items to try out that you’ve never seen which is exciting. Their Tori Kare chicken bowls with a side of Japanese curry was fantastic! Saying that, some items are quite unusual and lacking. It also doesn’t help that their prices are quite high and food portions are small. If you can forget about those two things you’ve got a great restaurant! Thanks

The food was lovely, tried for the first time. We decided to dine in as we wanted to see the atmosphere. Sadly we were the only people, which I don't understand as the place is lovely and the food is so nice! The service is also really great. We ordered the chef's special Chicken Teriyaki and the rice with Chicken and Pineapple with a couple of more sides. Everything was great and priced very reasonable. Definitely recommend to go and give them a visit! ❤️

My first order from Bamboo House and it was delicious. They delivered to Buckden and still managed to get to me early. Gyoza were stunning. Will be ordering again v soon.

Very poor service. Ordered a take away for delivery at 6-15. Order confirmed at 3-30. At 7 oclock a delay of 45 mins we were told a BLIP in the order and the order had not been recieved. Actually we had confirmation. No sorry or apologise but basically cancel the order which we did.We are regular customers here but No more. Will take our business else wear

Food is nice but they forget to include at least one item in your order on 50% of orders so you need to check before you leave as Duck without pancakes is not the same!

First time ordering from this Chinese as they did sushi. Not only was their House special chinese amazing, their sushi was the best sushi I’ve had in ages!! I’m so glad they do sushi in st Neots!! Please add more sushi to your menu!!!

Food is great, but the service this evening was appaling. One lady serving, won't be returning sadly. 2.5 hours waiting for food. Also, hair found in rice and one found in the prawn crackers. Not even an apology. Sadly the service has let the food down.

Went there for the first time last Friday night and it is a fantastic place to go on an evening. The food was great and the service was very friendly. Fully recommended. I will be revisiting again in the future.

Don't be mislead by the name! Its not authentic Hong Kong food, its made special for western where far far away from HK kitchen!!! I really disappointed, everything is wrong from original disches like in real Hong Kong. Too much SS souce. There is plenty authentic restaurants stay from this one unless you like SS souce everythere! Even names in Chinese are wrong.... Terrible

WARNING well where do I start ....... So ring and place an order this evening everything seemed to be going ok said about 1 hour so this was at 8.30 pm at 9.45 we rang to see where it was ..... Now this is where it gets interesting as we were told said order was on its way to a different address also with a different phone number to the one we called off . The lady that answered the call tried to say the number we was ringing from was a different number ....... So after a conversation with this lady I asked to speak to the owner to which she said “oh they are not here “. So we are then waiting for our order to arrive it does so for the delivery driver to say she is the owner. I was not impressed. It gets worse...... Open bag removing trays and dishes and well anyone could guess not one but two dishes were wrong you would think that when I phoned to say the order was wrong they would sort this out nope they then hung up I phoned again and the delivery driver answer poor man he gets all the stick I think! So asked for them to replace ordered dishes refused ask for a refund refused getting slightly not happy now. So my daughter took the dishes back to the restaurant still they refused ...... until I kindly reminded them that we are on lockdown they have people in their restaurant which isn’t the best for public health at this time . Further more trading standards then . They lack in anykind of good customer service . WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN FROM HERE

I had late delivery with no apology and when the driver eventually arrived with my order, he didn't have sufficient change so I had to wait even longer for him to go back to the car to find it. Then just when I thought that it couldn't get any worse, the crispy chilli beef was NOT crispy as it was soaked in sauce so very sticky! Truly terrible! NEVER AGAIN. AVOID!

I ordered a delivery to Eynesbury tonight (22nd of March, 2020) and was told that it would arrive within 50 mins. An hour later I rang chasing it to find that it had not even left there yet! I was offered no apology. It arrived after 75 mins and the driver didn't have the full change so he went back down to his car with the food to find it! 5 mins later he came back to my door with the change while I was on the phone to Hong Khong restaurant complaining about the service. Then, just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, what should have been crispy chilli beef was NOT crispy as it was SOAKED IN SAUCE!! Terrible all round. NEVER AGAIN! AVOID!!!

I booked a table for 8. We had 3 Children who were 3 years old the waitress refused to let them eat for free as she required proof of their age!! Even though 4 of us were paying for the buffet. The food was mediocre, the service was horrendous. The black mould on the wall and cobwebs before you enter the toilets is revolting. We would never return.

Used to love this takeaway, but unfortunately won't be coming back. Our order from 09/01/20 around 6pm, sesame and prawn toast was clearly off. Stinky and tasted bad, all went in the bin. Such a shame as everything was always good, but can't risk getting food poisoning.

Took my family for dinner and the food was great, an attentive host, very clean, quiet, large variety...did I mention the great food? 😊

Just bought takeaway. Waited less than 5 minutes for the order to be ready and it was hot. In another 5 minutes it was on the table at home. It all tasted well. We enjoyed the meal. Will order again. It is a good location to pick up take away yourself if you live close to town centre.

Nope! Dont bother even attempting to go, especially for buffet! Unless you enjoy sweet chilli batter well they mean is sweet chilli chicken but without the chicken? Guess it saves money, tbh we had a pretty awful experience, the sweet chilli batter was one of many issues we had when we visited for a birthday. Really awful service and manager would not accept that her food was bad, even after we showed her reviews online to prove we were not the only people not happy. Honestly dont waste your money, we just got away with paying for starters and drinks, its took alot forbger to allow us to leave without paying for whole meal even alot we bearly ate, went home hungry and out of pocket

Decided to take my family out for dinner on a spur. No reservation needed. Very clean, airy and very friendly greeting. Seated quickly, drinks and then food with no problems at all. Plenty of great delicious food freshly cooked. Great evening had.

Excellent food and service. The prices are very reasonable and the staff always seem happy. The takeaway around the back is also very good, and you always get served fairly quickly.

The veggie options were fabulous but the meat options my friend chose were not great. The curry rolls starter were still frozen in the middle. The prawn main had 3 Prawns. On the other hand the aubergine starter and veggie main were very tasty. Very expensive at £50 for 2 starters 2 main and an average bottle of wine

Food took 2 hours to come and when arrived it was awful. Ordered large fried rice and there was only enough for a mouse. Chips were cold. Sauce was cold. Do not order from here.

Lovely food, we usually order a chicken and sweet corn soup, salt and pepper chicken wings and quarter duck for takeaway. Especially love the chicken wings since they have the perfect crunchiness and are so tender on the inside! Staff are nice and friendly as well.
