I ordered a takeaway from Balti House. The flavors are amazing. Chicken Jalfrezzi an Chicken Vindaloo. My friend also loved it. Great food! Thank you.

On getting home from here I feel compelled to write this review. Living in Bradford I have the pleasure of quite a few good Indian restaurants with The International being my bench mark. This has for us, group of 4, been the worst dining experience we have ever encountered. We booked a table for 7pm. Alarm bells should have been ringing when we had to send the 8 stale poppadoms back, but we made our order. Our starters eventually came at 8pm! Overcooked and dry!...then the mains came...and...all 4 of us felt the mains weren't good at all. We ordered 3 curries and a portion of chips (£4.25 for chips!) We all basically took a couple of mouthfuls before deciding enough was enough. When we were asked by the owner/manager if everything was OK I was polite but to the point. These were the worst starters/curries we've ever tasted. Over cooked and over priced. At this point it was 8.30pm and there were more staff than guests. What the most disappointing part was is that at no point were the staff or manager at all apologetic for the poor offerings they had served. We begrudgingly paid the bill and promptly left. Rest assured we will not be returning and definately wouldn't recommend this place.

Three of us went here last night when we found our first choice closed. £75 for three curries, garlic Nan, chapattis, poppadoms and a few drinks, a photo of the bill is included. The curries were full of onion and did not have sufficient meat for all of our likings. Flavours were average but acceptable. Large building but only a few customers.

The best curry house in Keighley in my opinion the staff are excellent and the food is amazing never had a bad meal always top notch even the take away food is amazing !

Food is ok, but I just do not feel its value for money. It has become very expensive. £4.25 for a side of chips! Starter for 2 £17.95! The food that we had was OK, but i won't be returning as I just feel it has become too expensive and they have gotten greedy. I het that costs have risen but a side of chips doesn't need to be £4.25, no way!

The best curries around! Friendly staff amazing portions and reasonably priced! I have been here so many times and iv never had a bad experience… would highly recommend! And you can take your own alcoholic drinks! Fish masala is to die for

After being told by my brother that the Boti tikka was back to how it used to be I thought I would give Balti House another try.I had the starter for 2 and the boti tikka was in fact like it used to be and was perfect. I also enjoyed the chicken garlic masala and naan bread.So happy the Boti is back to being the best in Keighley again, please keep it this way.

Had a take out as we isolating (delivered) and oh myyy, loved it. I havent lived in Keighley for long time, however I always look forward to a meal at the Balti when I am visiting. While I would have liked the 'sit down' experience it is what it is... So takeout it was. And it did not disappoint, simply beautiful. The chicken tika was melt in the mouth, and my 'go to' dish here Balti chicken tikka - again faultless. Not greasy, delicately and expertly spiced to be delicious (without being too hot) The garlic naan, plenty of garlic just as it should be. Year on year this place is always consistant - I intend to have at least one more meal here before I head off home! Fantastic service food, great service - delivery was about 30 mins.

Me and my mum went here for a bit of a treat because we couldn’t be bothered to cook. We arrived and were greeted by an employee who directed us to a table. The person who served us though? The most disinterested, ignorant, disrespectful waiter with the worst attitude I’ve ever come across! He DROPPED the cutlery on the table like we were a pair of wild animals who weren’t worthy of his respect. ( my uncle runs a buisness which probably spends more per year on TOILET PAPER than this place has ever earned since it opened so yes, I felt like I deserved better.) then there’s the food. The cream that was put on top of the curry had curdled and turned into what could only be described as cheese onOne side of the dish and didn’t taste any better than what you get from Aldi’s microwave meal range. The glasses provided with our cans of coke looked like they hadn’t been cleaned all day and instead just rinsed between customers. I’ve never felt more unwelcome in a restaurant than this. And I did expect better because all my Asian friends tell me that it’s almost like the big family meal muslims have at Ramadan eating in this place. They say they get service that good! I can’t Imagine why me and my mother didn’t get that level of care and good treatment. ‍♂️ all I’ll say is don’t expect me to ever come back and also expect me to warn every single person who I hear say they’re considering coming here. Terrible.

Called in 5.15pm today 24 August , just for a change ,The staff was so Helpful when we arrived placed our order ,The food was amazing I would Highly recommend this place to anybody. The staff very Helpful & professional I give you 10sFor service & The food Great work Guys 5star

eat out to help out wednesday night and was busy , i arrived late but was welcomed and was soon at my table , served by pleasant waiters and the food was very good , the biggest tick was even at the late time i went and how busy it was i was made welcome and relaxed while i dined , and kindly packed up what i had left for breakfast next morning , i will be happy to use again .

Went after 5% vat rate introduced but bill from till had everything at prices with 20% vat. Manager insists it was correct and didn't seem to realise the 5% vat was effective. I didn't pay the full bill requested but reduced it by 12.5% to get the correct amount. Manager not happy but took my cash in the end Left my name tel no. email address and bill calculation so they could get back if required. Second restaurant in two days doing this trick.......Checkout shimla spice...Charging old prices with no reduction and state it's perfectly legal.....morally?

Key workers and family first night out since Corona Virus chose our favourite restaurant despite it being 15 miles away from home.Slightly nervous but shouldn’t have been.Restaurant Covid safe which put us at ease.Beautiful food,could taste fresh ingredients in our 4 different individually cooked curry’s.Wonderful friendly service Couldn’t fault it

I visited Balti house keighley with a group of friends, tell me how can lots of varied dishes be served in 10 minutes?? The chicken was definitely NOT chicken it wasn't for human consumption.

Fantastic food as always and never disappointed. Yearly visit from Australia.....may try to get my fix again before I leave to go back!

We first ordered food from the Balti House as a takeaway and were impressed so decided to book a table for a family birthday event.The staff were very attentive, freindly and polite.Food was lovley and we were served good portion sizes. Chips were espically good!The environment of the restaurant is stunning.Look forward to visting again.

Slow service, 40 minutes to get the poppadoms! Horrible starter, over cooked dry chicken wings, two tiny ones. Unflavoured main dish with a hint of chilli. Over three pounds a pint for poor quality imitation coke. My three companions were all very disappointed, lots of food wasted. £87 for poor food slow and poor service. We were told that we could only order pints of drink not halves or a small drink! A request for more mint yoghurt sauce was met with a delivery of a pot of yellow substance. Hopeless flavour free school dinner quality rubbish place.

Decided to go for a curry but we hadn't booked. The staff were very accomodating. The food was delicious. Service was good and nothing was too much trouble. We have visited on many occasions and the food is always of the highest standard. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely place! Had a fantastic birthday meal for both me and my boyfriend, both our families thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Delicious, fresh food, friendly service and good prices. To say we were a large party, the waiting times were not excessive at all. Will definitely be going back!

The atmosphere felt not welcoming and inviting as weren't the plastic covered tables. Most of the staff wasn't as friendly as hoped for and the food really wasn't delicious which is so very sad since normally we're dedicated Indian food lovers.We won't go there again and we wouldn't recommend this location to friends or family.

Huge selection on the menu something for everyone and you take your own alcohol. Went with friends had a fab evening

The Balti House is a great family friendly restaurant. The food is always first class and a great portion size. The restaurant has a really nice and spacious atmosphere with a modern and clean feel. We visited as a family and there is a kids menu available. However we stuck to the main menu. We really like this restaurant and will be back again soon.

Amazing evening in a very special place food is incredable and extensive range on menu starters were a delight and nan bread to die for love this place and the staff are very attentive oh and the mango lassi best ever. X x x

We are regulars at the Balti House and I can honestly say we have never had anything other than excellent food and service no matter if it's just two of us or a group of six or eight.

Been here so many times I’ve lost count. Can’t fault the food or service at all. If you want to sit there all night they never ask you to leave. It’s great being able to bring your own alcohol as that saves you money. Only downside is that you have to pay for your popadoms where a lot of restaurants give you them as did the Balti house before they started charging.

Enjoyed a meal with the partner last night. Reasonably priced good food. Staff were polite and service was prompt. Only criticism is £2.00 for a can of fizzy drink in my opinion is seriously overpriced

How does this happen, we ordered the same main we had a few times but this one came out completely different. Complained to staff who tried to make the case we ordered wrong, we even pointed at the dish on the menu but no this member of staff was adamant to the point of being rude. Left hungry again from this place.

This is the first time We have eaten here but the group we where with had. We where with a group of 20 people. The staff where very attentive and the food came out all together. The food was plentiful but a little bland so if your a fan of spicy you need to ask for hotter than you would normally have. This is a BYO restaurant and doesn’t have a liquor license but they have no issues with you supplying your own drinks. They will happily provide glasses and open the wine a good news get was had by all

A friend and I visited the Balti House last night. June 13th 2018. The food was excellent and the Sizzler Starter was superb. I had a chicken tikka dopiaza which was cooked perfectly with large chicken pieces. The rice and naan bread were both excellent. This is the first time I have been for a long time. I am intending on taking my wife the next time we go out for a curry.

Went for a pre wedding meal here had it booked for over 3 months there were nearly 40 people the ordering took over a hour and a half when the food came it was completely tasteless the chicken tikka was so dry and tasted like completely plane chicken the portion size was small all of the curry’s either tasted the same or just tasted of chilli powder. The staff were so unhelpful and very slow did not ask if anyone wanted drinks and had very poor communication and language skills. Avoid this place if you want a decent curry!!!

We have recently moved to Keighley and are going to be trying as many restaurants as we can in the area. First we tried the Balti House, this is quite a big restaurant and was busy for 6.30pm. The food was lovely and the staff were very pleasant. Be in mind that this restaurant does NOT have a drinks licence but you can take your own booze in and they are happy to provide glasses and open the bottles for you. Nice place, nice food and nice staff. Plenty of parking too. Would we go back? Yes definitely.

They were really busy fair dos. Starters were lovely but had to wait 40 mins for them. Curry came. My partner's was bland. My curry was "garnished" with slices and chunks of both raw garlic and raw chilli. Once those unwanted and unnecessary ingredients had been discarded the curry was actually rather flavoursome. However my garlic rice was also filled with raw garlic. This was returned to the kitchen and 3 chapatis were then brought out .....when I had no curry left to eat them with. I was starving as I had waited almost another 45 mins for my main course lol. We (well I) complained and after much umming and ahhhhing and being told that's how they garnish their food they offered us a £5 voucher off our next meal there. My partner said to the guy that we wouldn't be going back and asked if they could just knock the fiver off the bill. Not possible apparently. They also said that he had eaten half if his curry which he clearly hadn't. He told him that my shepherds pie had more flavour than his curry!! Not sure how to take that lol. It's really not like him to complain and he gets embarrassed when i do but I think that lad got both barrels tonight. Hopefully they'll get the message. Worse than poor.

we we're given a gift voucher for the Balti House for Christmas last year as we no longer live in Keighley and don't visit too often arranged a trip up today planning to finish off by enjoying s meal at the Balti using our voucher. After ordering our food.we were told we couldn't use the voucher as it was too old!! Even though my mum explained when she bought us it that it may be a while before we were in Keighley and was told don't worry it cam be used any time and there was no expiry date on it. So Balti house were happy to take the £20 from my mum for the voucher and now have that money but refuse us our meal. Avoid this place - They are crooks

Always have good service and good food. Atmosphere not always so good if you are eating early. It is a big place to fill.

Been here a couple of times, very satisfied both visits. Good sized portions of tasty food, bring our own bottle is a bonus.

Llegó en el último momento para salir a comer con la mejor. Estaba sentada y pedidos de bebidas tomadas rápidamente inmediatamente. Nos dieron unos 10 minutos para navegar por el menú que era perfecto porque había un montón de tomar. Pedimos un entrante mixta para dos, tuve un pollo rebozados Makahni con ajo Naan, la señora optamos por un persa balti. Toda la comida llegó bastante rápido, pero nos dio suficiente tiempo entre campos para dejar nuestra comida asentarse y charlar. Toda la comida era muy sabrosa, fresca y caliente. Había tanta comida suficiente para llevar a trabajar al día siguiente. Realmente era fantástica y realmente no podía quejarse a £45 libras por un plato para 2, 2, 2 partes principales, un desierto y bebidas. Sin duda volveremos.

Si estoy iba a pedir un curry será desde aquí. Aunque no cenamos a menudo, ya que normalmente como para relajarse en casa no me puedo quejar del servicio o la comida. Gran tamaño de las porciones muy buena comida, preparado de la forma que más te gusta, no soy demasiado miedo de pedir un plato extra suaves como no me gustan las cosas demasiado picante. Genial x

Me and my husband went out on Friday evening, we had starter's and curries, the food was delicious and well presented. The portion where large so we had to ask for boxes to take home the left overs!

El aparcamiento de coches y zona de comedor son enormes, como son las porciones de comida. Los aperitivos mostraban promesa, pero por desgracia los principales campos resultó ser sosa y aburrida, que también describe con precisión el servicio bastante. Hay sitios mejores que este en la zona para aquellos que se preocupan de buscar para ellos. Sin embargo, si eres justo después de un plato enorme de algo que hace que sus labios tingle, un poco, este es el lugar para ti.

We are regular customers at the Balti House. We are always greeted with a warm smile by all the staff. The food is excellent and is good value for money. They do not have a licensed bar but you are very welcome to bring your own alcohol along to enjoy with your tasty meal.

I have visited here many times, I always have the same curry - it is always hot and tastes great!! The service is always great, polite yet friendly. It is also good value for money, the Restaurant is always clean and well presented. I would recommend to anyone anytime.

The curry we ate was very good, with service to match.The dining area is large and it is rather noisy. The tables are cafe style with no tablecloth. We were a small group of friends out for a curry and a chat, so the environment was of little import to us, I mention it only because this is not a place for diners who seek quiet intimacy. We enjoyed the food, so it ticked all our boxes.

We had a family table of 16 booked. I have to begin by saying I observed the staff being rude and not attentive. Please don't visit it you like service! Second our order was taken, and the wait begun. We starters arrived only half the table was served?! Even though we ordered together. After half the table had finished starters and complaining about the others starters that hadn't arrived, I was met by a waiter that really couldn't have cared less. Then the old chestnut that we had ordered in two batches! Please don't try that we came together we sat together we wanted to eat together! After another wait the other starters came out. Shortly followed by our mains! Half the table eating mains and half eating starters! Not acceptable. To recap no service, no time keeping, we were also accused of ordering like that and just in case you wondered the food was tasteless. Although you can take your own booze which is the only plus point they will sting you for a can of pop at £2!! So all in all one to be avoided!

We booked a table for 16 of us we was seated by member of staff to wait for the rest of our family to arrive. When the table was full the waiter arrived to take our order. We all ordered at the same time but when the starters came they only served half the table and when we asked about the rest of us we was told they was on there way. We finished our starters and the rest of the family still had not received there's. Eventually the starters arrived . We then got our main courses when they where eating there starters we all wanted to eat together I asked the waiter why we was getting our main course before the rest of our party he said maybe they had split it into to tables I asked the waiter who took the order he said it all went in as one order. It was very disappointing that we went for a family meal and we all ate at different times. My curry was not hot just aired as most of the food was items where missing and customer service was very poor with nobody saying sorry for the confusion and having to dine separate to the rest of the family. Very disappointed and won't be in a rust to go again. Take my advise avoid this place

Had a early evening meal here with my mother and our two small kids and enjoyed wonderful food and good service really can't say how nice the food here is in the Keighley area you can be spoilt for choice when it comes to currys but the Baltic house is one of the best

Been here a few times now and the food has been incredible. Any of the negative reviews on here are out of their minds. The creamy curries here are my favourite, the Butter Chicken Balti and the Murgh Makhaani are to die for.Even though I'm here on a weekday this place is clearly underrated as the seats aren't full.Compliments to the chefs. Will keep recommending to people I know.10/10, thank you!

Unfortunately we got talked into going again by our friends who said it had change since our last visit and it was totally different , they got the totally different right it was even worse than the visit. Food was dreadful cheap cuts of meat served the size of tennis balls with no different taste between the various dishes, staff again very rude and not caring if you were happy or not. By 10.00p.m. on Saturday night place was empty, not surprised but still took staff 30 mind to get the bill.There are many curry houses in keighley ......please try them all before coming here or alternatively the better choice go hungry before eating here.

What a fantastic meal! Staff so helpful...will serve up a meal which far surpasses other restaurants visited. They also concocted a dish for a member of our group who had special dietary needs Nothing was too much trouble. The decor strikes you as soon as you park outside....rather grand. The restaurant inside is large....functions are accommodated easily. A very friendly restaurant with food to suit all people that tastes stunning. Would definitely recommend to anyone

The whole restaurant is superbly decorated classy and very roomy. We had some of the best Indian food we have tasted (and we have eaten a lot). All the dishes came out in skillets so each was still cooking in front of you so the food was pipping hot. The service due to size was slower than we are used to but the whole ambiance of the place was so good it did not matter. The restaurant does not serve alcohol so you need to take your own, of course this does reduce the price of a good night out. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you happen to be in the area.

Can't fault this place at all! I don't even really like Indian food but I am obsessed with this place. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly and attentive. It's cheap and the food again is amazing will definitely be going back here soon

They offer a fairly good curry here at a fair price. The chicken they use isn't all that great it's ok. The place is very big and they serve a good nan and home made chips!The staff really let this place down ALOT, the older staff members I think owners as they seem like bosses are very good and polite. The young staff members give you attitude, filthy looks (I almost asked one what his problem was last time as he was sneering when speaking to me) and they are extremely blunt! Trying to get another drink is hard work as they don't pay attention to you and I feel it's a huge effort when you ask them over for something. They really let the place down.

Visited for a birthday meal and very disappointed. We have visited the balti house before on several occasions with no problem. This time our waiter seemed completely disinterested to serve us and even when he did it was blunt. We asked for some mint sauce to go with our starters and had a whole pickle tray dumped on the table. The only pleasant person was when we was paying. The food was poor portions and poor quality. Sad as used to really enjoy our meals out here.

We have been in the balti house before and it was poor then,we put this down to a one off but the actually suppassed the worst service ever encontered. Ice was asked for the drinks...never came, after several more requests it finally turned up when drinks were all but finished. Waited an age before order taken starter turned up hour and half after ordering staff claimed order was lost, mains came after 2 hours all past it by then 3 of the currys were not what was ordered 1 sent back only to be replaced by a worse curry. The manager by then had done one and would not take the complaints, staff just not interested no knives and forks and it was unbelievably cold in the resteraunt...no heating colder inside than out. To all that reads do yourself a favour and go elsewhere the food is disgusting and the service worse.

I'm never returning to this dump again, it was absolutely shocking the lack of effort given by the staff, they all just seemed disinterested. The food was bland and contained various strands of hairs, there were very odd smells lingering within the restaurant itself. I was absoloutely horrified by the presentation of the food. Overall I am never returning here again.

Came in August on a weekday night with my (now) boyfriend for his birthday. Beautiful inside! Service good, and food beautiful! I can't remember the name of what I had but it was chicken and it had honey and cashew nuts in, it was sooooo tasty. Will defo be returning here. No lisense so take your own alcohol.

Went with a group of friends on Friday evening. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and a great service but unfortunately I cannot say the same for the food. This was the second visit where I was left disappointed Its not all negative, the onion bhajis and chapatis were delicious but the chicken dopiaza dish I ordered was full of large chunks of raw onions [not just the garnish] instead of the lovely sweet caramelised ones its supposed to include. The curry sauce itself was hot and spicy but the chicken was dry and tasteless and obviously had not been cooked from scratch in the sauce so it absorbed the flavours. I did not complain as such as I did not want to spoil the evening but did mention to the waiter to inform the chef of my comments.You could say I had just been unlucky but on a previous occasion I had a similar issue of, dry tasteless meat. To be fair I complained and was not charged for the dish but that's not the point really as it spoiled the evening when I had been looking forward to the meal. I hope if the Balti read this, they change the recipe for my favourite curry as I do like this restaurant and want to eat here again confident that the standard of the food matches the service.

Arrived with my 2 grown up children and my younger daughter, service was extremely poor to the point that we wondered what we had done wrong!! The only member of staff that was civil was on the till on the way out. Pity because the food was very good, but won't go back again because of staffs attitude

Been going here years, and still recieve top quality service & food, had to wait a little longer than usual but it was half 6 on a friday evening.Dont sit next to a radiator if you're having anything spicy, they're usually on full! #Sweaty

This place, located in the Asian locality of the town was very near to the railway station and easy to locate. The interiors, the ambience, the food, the hospitality, everything was near perfect. I had an amazing time at the place and would love to visit there again.

Our takeaway was delivered on time by a smart friendly employee, the food was piping hot and delicious. One of the best currys we have had in a long while. The only criticism i have is not enough Pakoras and Onion Bhaji's in a portion. (I had to share them with the wife lol) The Balti house was suggested by a friend and i will definately pass on the reccomendation. 5/5 all day everyday.Leon Midgley.

The Balti house is a keighley favourite of mine. BOYB, in a lovely atmosphere , th friendly and attentive staff. The food is lovely- it can always be relied on to be delicious without too much of a wait and not bank breaking!

I have been going to this restaurant for a few years now, whilst its a very large restaurant, they tend to use the small area first. Now they have installed a new computer system PDA for taking orders, you no longer get complimentary poppadoms and the pickle tray on arrival and you do not get a hot towel at the end of the meal.3 poppadoms cost £2.25, and the owner/manager says he provides the pickle tray with no charge, but it isn't replenished for the first course, again like it used to - so make sure you make it last!Food portions are good, service is ok, especially if you all don't mind being referred to as guys, even when you are female. Restaurant is popular with familes, which is great, but not all diners want children running around whilst eating, so it might be an idea to have a family area.

What more can I say? The staff are great, they offer you decent seating and are quick to take orders.The location is great with a huge car park and a lovely setting. The actual restaurant looks great. It is hidden away just up the road from Shan House.The food is excellent, it really is. If you get a garlic naan bread or Japattis, they're a very good compliment to your curry and even better if you get some rice. The metal dishes come back to you extremely hot and sizzling but it's lovely knowing your dishes are cooked fresh. They taste excellent and always have.I recommend the Keema Mushroom and also the Chicken Balti, they are brilliant.The deserts and drinks selections are also good but they're not a shining feature.One very good thing about the Balti house is that it has tonnes of space and you will always have a good seat with no cramping and plenty of room around you. It's well aired out and with clear directions to toilets and the exit. It is also well lit.Definitely recommended if you're in Keighley, I can't recommend it enough.

Couldn't really fault what I ordered. Buttered chicken was delicious. Service was friendly. Meal was well priced. Will be coming back for sure

Monday Night Curry , every week , my 4 year old loves it here too. He's become great friends with Nav who gives us fantastic service every time.I would have left a review earlier as we have been visiting The Balti House almost every week for about a year now. Anyway , we went on a Saturday night last week when Nav wasn't working and the service , food everything was as good as any other time we've been.My friends usually go for the same food every time , but i always try to have something different and i've never been disappointed yet.The food is always piping hot , tasty and served quickly with a smile.They even bring my little lads food out before we've even ordered , which is a lovely touch.We work in the restaurant trade and would recommend this place to anyone , easily the best curry in the area. The kitchen looks immaculate too as i have had a peek when the door opens.Keep up the good work guys.

Large welcoming restaurant. Friendly staff, great food and VERY clean toilets.Loads to choose from on the menu. When it's not too busy guests are seated in the front area. This means there is plenty of atmosphere and you don't feel lost as it is a big place.We will return.Recommend

My friend and I visited on 3rd March. My husband and I, family and friends go to the Balti house very frequently. We have been customers here for over 20 years but I have never written a review.Some of the staff have been there as long as i can remember and greet us as friends. The mixed starter for 2 is huge, the lamb chops are lovely, chicken tikka, fish tikka, seek kebab and meat tikka are all lovely and served on a sizzler. The main courses are also equally as big and 9 times of 10 some of it usually goes home in goodie bag for the following day. The Desi Handi dish served in a clay pot is lovely and the Passanda dish is probably the best of anywhere. The free poppadoms and pickle tray at the beginning of your meal is a real bonus. Added advantage is being able to take in your own alcohol.

After visiting the local picture house in Keighley, we decided to have a late tea at the Balti House Restaurant on the Albert St car park. I had a Balti Keema Bhuna wth rice & Jackie had a Balti Chicken Bhuna with Chapattis. Both meals were flavoursome and good value for money.I can recommend this restaurant if you are in the West Yorkshire town Of Keighley.Disabled access was good with plenty of room for wheelchair access.I'm sure we will visit again in the future.

So bad 5 prawns for curry costing nearly £10 and food was late been befor been great but not this time

excellent parking ,quiet as we went from work at 5pm ,but the place was warm and welcoming .service good ,we ordered something that was not on the menu and kept adding to it but nothing seemed too much bother .good curry very reasonable price .i will be returning .

With over 30 diners we busted The Balti House in Keighley. We will not be going there again. This was a family celebration for my son in laws 40th and my granddaughter's 21st. When we booked the information stated we would be given 20% discount as we were more than 30, however when it came to pay we were told that the discount didn't apply over the Christmas period, it did not specify any dates so the manager stated they had decided today is part if the Christmas period so no discount, this is very unfair as they did not specify this when we booked. This on top of poor service, insipid and tasteless food, chicken that was clearly not fresh but frozen cubes of poor quality. My advice, give this place a wide berth there are much better restaurants in the area.

I've had curries all over the world from the states to Oz and even though I live only 10 miles from Bradford, the curry capitol of the UK, nothing beats the Balti House - consistently good food and service from the staff. My only criticism would be that I preferred the old premises as it was smaller and more personal, the newer building is large and more like a banqueting suite but that is only a small criticism.They don't serve alcohol but you can take your own and they don't rip you off with corkage - you can get however a wide range of soft drinks.

This is hands down my finest local curry house, the food is authentic, fresh and divine, good portions at circumspect prices, highly recommended.The service is always excellent and we are liked after each time we visit. I found the restaurant clean, well presented and the staff attentive, they serve a variety of meals, spicy to the not so spicy. An enjoyable night out with family.I cannot express the excellent service and food quality of the Balti House waiters and chef's. Quite simply a far superior meal to any of which i have tasted. I recommend to all, the service has drastically improved the food is to die for and over all a friendly and hostile restaurant.

We went to the Balti House for a birthday party. The food was really nice and delicious and service very good , waiters are polite,and helpful few are on work experience,overall everything was great, good parking aswell,recommended

The food is pretty decent here and they have everything you'd expect from any curry house. I enjoy the curries and the starters but their manners really annoy me from the younger staff members. They never come over to refill your drinks, I went as a big group and we all agreed that they take your order like they hate you, if you ask for anything getting it seems a big effort and they don't like doing it, anything you ask for is too much effort. The older guys who are always smartly dressed are always alright but the table service is appalling. I had to get up and go up to the desk in reception to order things as I couldn't get anyone's attention. It really annoys me how the younger staff begrudge serving you and give you attitude if you say you've been trying to order something but couldn't get service. Bad manners from the younger staff, impolite service and not attentive to refreshing drinks, taking orders or taking care of you etc.

Came here on the back of a recommendation. The Balti House is up a side street but is easy to find. There is plenty of parking to the rear of the building. The food is good but like many people have said the service could do with improving. You can take your own alcohol. We ate at tea time and there was plenty of room but Friday and Saturday nights might be different. Will return.

Our favourite curry place , delicious Balti food, very good service and friendly staff , great parking , recommend to all.
