I ordered grilled chicken and the taste was excellent. They have Syrian fatayer and safiha and many other things, an excellent choice for your taste buds. It's not my first time here. I ordered rotisserie chicken, and it tasted great. They also have a nice selection of pastries and many options.

Avoid this place, if u are not from country like owners or u dont speak them language u are waiting to order food for ages, without saying hello or something like that , disgusting.

Authentic Middle-eastern food. I had the rotisserie chicken and it was absolutely amazing. Soo juicy and tender with crispy skin. And the rice was flavourful and perfect. I also had their Cheese with Zaatar manakeesh and meat manakeesh, both of them were so light and just melt in mouth. Fresh ingredients being used and it shows.

It’s mix between traditional Arab rice dishes and Syrian lovely pastries and pies. Very delicious food with good prices . Very suitable for family or group portions average cost is £10 each

I have been to this restaurant three times and it is the same thing every time You ask for the order as if you are begging them and you are being treated badly. Cold food, some rice and chicken for 13 pounds. I hope he will make an experience that will not be repeated. I won’t be able to take the riyal off the riyal. I won’t come to be sharper than your father. You will open a business and you will have a job and I won’t quit.

We have discovered this hidden treasure on Elswick Road. Small pizza type dishes were only £2 each and a large selection of them, amazing lentil soup, chicken, rice, drinks, they were all really authentic and far from usual similar food available everywhere. Amazing! Mustafa

I highly recommend having a nice breakfast at Ryan food and pastries. We went today and ate beans, falafel, kebba and more for around £11 (enough for two people), free and unlimited tea, food is delicious, service is good, price is great, staff is friendly and atmosphere is nice with Arabic songs in the background. Parking is also available outside 3 hrs free too. In general, highly recommended.

Amazing, the food was lovely , great portions and very welcoming atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and there is also a fresh range of bakery goods to choose from. Halal and vegatrian options too which is handy for options if this is what your after. Found my new go to for lush food! 😍

Stay away from this place, smelly, staff look unhygienic the food I wouldn't even give to my dog - To sumarise, overpriced, unhygienic food and staff! Take my advice and give it a wide berth.

I called in here with my girlfriend, not knowing what much was. Everything looked and smelled delicious and the lady that served us was very helpful. She explained what everything was and gave good advice. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing a couple of pastries and a baklava. It was all delicious and we look forward to returning!

Great service, I asked for a dish that wasn't even on the menu and I got it. Good Turkish comfort food.

Good food but bad service. The place smelled and there was no toilet. In addition, the Halva from the Turkish breakfast we ordered wasn't served to us. If you visit in winter make sure you are dressed warmly cause there is no heating or whatsoever. Nevertheless, if you like traditional Turkish cuisine this is the place to go
