We came for late morning nibbles. Unfortunately, we saw no sign of Tom Baker, nor his TARDIS, but K9 was on hand to warm up the sausage rolls and save the day! Must be going on 15 years now that they have been here. Love the place and never had a bad experience. Recommended.

Bought one of Baker Tom’s “bit of both” loaves about ten days ago and it was fantastic! Fresh, soft inside and crusty outside. Went back a couple of days ago for another and were sadly disappointed. It was the same (looking) loaf, but hard and seemed stale. Texture was completely different and not nearly so nice. Do they sell day old bread? I seemed like it …….

I bought some sourdough bread for over Christmas, one loaf was okay, but the other was so incredibly salty nobody could eat it! Such a shame as we love sourdough, will keep searching for a better bakery.

Lovely bread best tasting bread in a Falmouth and always really lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend. The light wholemeal is particularly delicious and sea salt focaccia…yum!

Baker Tom's used to be my favourite stop in Falmouth. On my recent visit it seems that the success and expansion of the business has meant that the original quality of Toms baking has been lost. The sourdough lacked taste and the Pain Chocolat was practically unedible, flat and chewy, you get far better at Lidl. The day was saved however when I found a new (to me as an occasional visitor) bakery at the other end on the High Street called Stones. Their apple cake was fabulous and bread just perfect. Suggest you give Tom's a miss and head for Stones.

What a shame it is that Easter only comes once a year! If you haven't had some of Baker Tom's hot cross buns this year you have missed a real treat, and it will be a another year before they'll be available again. These buns are the best I've ever tasted, and I can assure you I've eaten quite a few from different places. Next year, forget the supermarket hot cross buns and head straight for Baker Toms who produce a vastly superior product. You will not be disappointed. Please note, the restaurant was closed because of coronavirus, and only the bakery was available. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g2717753-d3864718-r752610156-Baker_Tom-Pool_Cornwall_England.html#

Spent an afternoon in Penzance and could not resist popping into this amazing bakery. You'd be hard pushed to find such a selection of freshly baked breads and also jams and other yummy foods. Friendly staff always adds a warm touch to the service. Especially from Jasmin and Bernadette. Thanks ladies and see you next time we're in Penzance.

During our recent stay in beautiful West Penwith, we got into the habit of taking a morning stroll along the prom from our AirBnB in Newlyn to Baker Tom's in Causewayhead. We would stock up on their delicious pastries and bread then trek back to feed ourselves and the teens. <Sigh> oh how I miss Cornwall!

Called in to Baker Tom’s for bread rolls to go with our pulled pork dinner. We bought ciabatta rolls, floury rolls and glazed rolls. They were all utterly lush and were devoured by all ten of us. Also, the Cornish Smokey Ketchup was divine and exactly what we needed as a dressing. Thank you so much - we’ll be back!

Someone’s you see a bakery and it’s got cheap bread and sometimes your see one with wow that looks good. This bakery is one of the latter. There are some very lovely artisan sourdough bread loaves in the window but they aren’t cheap However they are the type of bread you Will remember. Service was good and friendly but in my case I only wanted a French snail which was lovely and I mean seriously good. Not the cheap place but a quality place.

I love this place. You can get half a loaf and that makes all the difference in the world for people that want fresh bread. Also their quality is consistent unlike other places in town.

Nice bread, shame about the timekeeping. Why advertise opening at 9am when they consistently open much later. Infuriating and unprofessional.

We normally buy our bread and cakes from Baker Toms but decided to have a coffee in store as well. A hidden gem, really good flat white for me and a ‘Dirty’ Chai for my wife who “really liked it”. What’s more at £2.50 each you get a cake to go with the coffee and if you possess a discount card you save even more. It seats only about ten but the food, be it pastry or savoury is delicious. Definitely worth a visit

if you like fancy bread at £4 a loaf then this is the place for you , you can see that days treats in the window , I guess locals cannot afford £1 for a bread roll as always seem to be loads of stock on display

We stopped in for a light lunch and were greeted by friendly staff. We had some nice rolls, tuna and lemon chicken - both made with lovely fresh bread and containing plenty of filling. The coffee was also very good.

Lovely little bakery/shop. Very good scones. Also sold sandwiched and cakes. Polite staff. Clean. Lots of these sorts of places in Falmouth, but this one is the best I have visited.

We came across Baker Tom's bread in a small shop outside Falmouth. The bread is wonderful, the white the wholemeal and then the saffron buns. We ordered lots of the bread to bring back and freeze. Sadly the hot cross buns, which are sweet and full of flavour never made it back - they all got eaten! Well done Baker Tom how can we get your bread here in Somerset. Its the best bread we've had in a long time.

We buy here at least twice a week in Falmouth and Truro. Love the light wholemeal bread and carrot and thyme. The scones are very good especially the cherry ones. My only gripe is the next day they do go a bit hard. So either freeze what you don't want to eat the day you buy it. Not a problem for me. I guess it does this as there are no preservatives in it so I prefer to eat the goods here.

Baker Tom's used to be just a baker and bread shop. But now they have put in some table and chairs and serve delicious lunch's using their renowned bakery products. This is a new venue and I recommend that people try it out. Be warned there are only a few tables, so you may be disappointed
