Baker J's Pie & Sandwich Co. in Warrington

I just went to get quick toast from this place, the staff was very rude. she looked almost angry, left my toast on the counter without looking at me and walked off. i was stood there for a while before she asked me "what you after" very rude lady!

Absolutely disgusting cold food, eggs like bullets, only half cup of coffe and payed £16 for the meal olny thing rhat nice waz the thick toast wont be going back

We go regularly for Sunday roast. I will start with the positive, the beef was lovely. The problems, Broccoli was undercooked. The potatoes were not roasties, the ywhere salad potatoes with skin on that looked like they had been deep fried. I also got 2.5 of them. Yorkshire puddings where flat and doughy. In addition serving included mashed carrots and a few brussell sprouts. I left hungry, this is not acceptable and we will be going elsewhere. I was still hungry and went to the Roast shop in Golden square. Their roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were amazing.

A girl dropped my the top half of my sausage roll on the floor, picked it up, put it back on and gave it to me anyway. I imagine the floors are cleaned quite often but still this is pretty unacceptable. Probably wouldn’t recommend eating here.

I got to the market every Friday morning. Always a queue at this place. Does full English, various pies, and sandwiches to order. Can takeaway or sit and eat in at the market. Staff are great , food is fresh and tasty, and everything is good value. Friday morning seems to be a social event for several groups of people, all tucking in.

I'm a regular, can't pass up on a Sausage & Bacon barm when passing. Love it! quality meats and you get plenty to eat. Would highly recommend trying!

Overall I personally think it’s a great place and serves good food even the staff are brilliant and Tracey who served was very lovely and polite well trained and overall a good atmosphere, whole place deserves a pat on the back as well as the staff, please be sure to let them know Many thanks Ian

I'm actually still waiting for our toast and coffee, which was ordered over half an hour ago. The service is truly lamentable- I cannot comment on the quality of the food for obvious reasons.

Had lunch here on Wednesday with my mum, she ordered fish, chips and peas, I went for pie, chips and peas. The chips were fresh and piping hot, the pie was pale and I'll looking and the peas on both plates were cold. After they had both been ' nuked' in the microwave we started to eat. We were given the most flimsy plastic cutlery ( my fork snapped straight away) I couldn't eat the pastry on the pie as it wasn't cooked enough. We both left more food than we ate, it was shocking! They REALLY need to up their game 😤😤
