Bahar's Kebab And Burger Bar in Worthing

Wonderful shish kebab - the pitta bread is made to their secret recipe and was fantastic - soft yet with a slight crunch on the outside, perfect for mopping up the chilli sauce which was excellent too! I ordered a small but there was so much chicken it was spilling out of the pitta and there was loads of salad too. I would say this is the best kebab I've ever had. The guys in there were really friendly and helpful too and he showed me the pitta breads waiting to go into the oven that he'd just made.

Doner was over cooked and burnt and the chilli bites were cold in the middle

Food was average, ordered curly fries but got regular fries. Other than that, the chips were quite good

Unfortunately not up to the usual standard the chicken shish didn't taste right and the burger was dry. Will not order again.😥

Food was good but very late delivery and had to call restaurant

Asked for garlic sauce in wrap and chilli sauce in a pot which they got the wrong way round so my son would not eat the kebab Maybe put the option there when ordering

Ordered Kebabs but portion was very small, especially Kofte Kebab.

We have ordered some chicken wraps and kebabs. Food was very delicious. Definitely will buy there again.

Food came after an hour wait with the wrong sauce (which I didnt like) I had to go to work, so didn’t have time to wait for a replacement.

Absolute shocking service! Do not bother with this restaurant! I booked for my food to be delivered at a certain time, they tried to deliver it over an hour early before my other half was even home from work! Then eventually delivered over an hour late than it was supposed to be!!

Ordered at 5.55, estimated delivery 6.30 - 6.55, turned up 1 hour late and food was stone cold!!! When we phoned to chase, was told driver just left. 30 mins later it turned up cold. Couldn't eat it, total waste of money

Good food absolutely disgusting and I mean disgusting service I called the restaurant six times and no response, food was an hour late, and it was cold too. So so so disappointed.

Love the food, but the delivery was not good on this occasion. And a suggestion to label the food. Its not ideal to have to unwrap the actual wrap to find out which one it is, when more than one is ordered.

2 hours late, couldn’t get through to restaurant asked for refund. Delivery driver took food back

Would love to write a review.. but there isn’t anything to write that review on.. when your order is supposed to be on its way.. you kinda expect it to arrive.. maybe a little late is okay but to not arrive at all.. not a great first impression.. never had this problem.. don’t accept the order if you can’t deliver.

Absolutely disgusting restaurant would NOT recommend at all not even to dogs! Made me terribly ill for a week! To then find out through friends they deal terrible drugs in the work place! Rude staff, isn’t clean or hygienic at all after I witnessed the staff picking their nose then after dealing my friends food! Should get shut down.

Were kept informed of order status and advised that it would be delayed due to unexpected demand yet it arrived at the start of the original time slot. Enjoyable meal.

Just for information - For me the app never updates to "on its way" until about 20mins after it's already been delivered. But I get my order so I'm happy!

The kebabs were great. Bit late arriving, can only assume they were very busy. Surprised it took over an hour from ordering however.

Great food but no jalapeños poppers

Food was as good as always, apart from my special request re salad largely ignored. Chips were cold however and pretty much inedible. Delivery time was originally scheduled for 8:20pm. At 8:45 I chased the order and restaurant rescheduled for 9:05pm, and eventually delivered at 9:20pm. Not a great service considering we are very regular customers over many years and having been working away since 7:15am this morning were ravenous. Have no problem with waiting for food if advised at the time, hence sadly the poor review in terms of time.

The burger was ok . Do not order the fish + chips - unedible fish . Poor quality . The kebabs are usually really good from here - but arrived cold :(

Usually very nice food at good prices however on this occasion. The food arrived cold today, disappointed.

Food was really good and order notes were taken into consideration, however, delivery was pushed back from 18:15 to 18:25 and our food eventually turned up at 19:30, after it was already showing as delivered on our order status.

The food is great value for money, the ordering is a little limited on this site (not being able to specify salad or sauce in some sections) but the staff are friendly and the order is always hot

Please do not bother. Food was hour and 15 minutes late. Despite ringing after 45mins the food remained elusive. Arrived stone cold and disgusting. Owner expressed no interest to rectify nor responsibility. Very rude on the phone. Fact is there is a lot of competition locally, so it's unlikely this place will be around much longer with this approach. Go elsewhere and avoid!

Order went in at 1800 delivery time was estimated for 1845 but delivery turned up 1930, but the meal was superb , I would order again

Fast delivery. Food was amazing. Best cheese burger in a long time. Doner was lovely too and generous portion sizes. Will definitely be ordering again.

Food almost cold but barely acceptable. The burger had cheese in it although the order clearly stated none. Not a big deal for me but for a lactose intolerant person it could have been serious. The chicken kebab was well over cooked and rubbery..

Slow & unreliable. Delivery times just get longer and longer. If you don’t have a spare hour don’t bother! AVOID

Food piping hot chips perfect delivery great would deffo order again

delivery was 45 min late, rang after 10 mins late and was told 10-15 mins still after 20 mins food wasn't here so i rang again and was told the same eventually got our food after 45 mins. When the food got here one of meals was asked without pitta bread and didn't select salad but had all of it and then when i had to ring for a third time i was told it would be an hour even tho it was 23:20. I would avoid this place!!! don't normally leave reviews but this was that bad an experience.

Food delivered to wrong address, who then wouldn’t answer door to delivery man to get back. Restaurant wouldn’t discount even after being over 2 hours. They made the delivery guy suck up the cost and were rude on the phone. Absolute last time we’ll order from there.

55 minutes late from original ETA, 30 minutes late from amended time! Perhaps Bacharach were awarded with orders by Cheeky Tuesday offer? I’ll see what happens next order. Food was hot and very tasty as usual.

Very late delivery. Over two hours from time of order. Kids meal was suppose to include a drink but this was missing.

The burger should of came with salad and it did not.

The food was full of grease and missing part of the order, when we spoke to the take away they were very rude. We returned the food and got a full refund .

I own a shop 3 doors down from Bahar and am pleased to say that this has become my weekly treat, alternating between a half pounder meal deal or a Small Doner meal deal. Burgers are good quality and cooked to order, salad is always crisp and fresh and topped off with good quality sauce unlike many other take-away's. Kebabs are also great, I always go for the small and just about manage to finish it. Friendly owner that takes time to say hello and generally remembers my order.

Terrible. We ordered on a Sunday just before 2pm. Order still hadn't arrived by 4pm. Couldn't get through on the phone neither could the food app we placed the order with. The Bahar said our order had been delivered at 3.40pm......They lied. We got our money back and went elsewhere. Avoid this place!!!

Chucked all food in the bin. Chicken nuggets were burnt and kebab was tasteless. When I tried to call the shop phone it was engaged for 45 mins.

I ordered it earlier in the day for 5.40pm,they added 10 minutes then at 6.05 I had to ring to see what was going on? to find out they had tried to deliver it at 4pm when I put the order in. I wasn't back from work till5.30, but they didn't try and redeliver at the correct time!! The food was lovely though.

If you are a kebab fan, these guys are awesome. I have been converted. They should give me shares. :-)

Food was Luke warm, horrible chips, kebab swimming in grease and mayo, burger was flavourless and swimming in mayo, chicken nuggets where hard! Milk shake ordered cake and it was a yazoo that rrp for £1 (says on bottle) yet still being charged £1.20 for them, overall very disappointing and I would not order again!

Very tasty meal, enough for 3 hungry people.

Don't t usually have a kebab for lunch but today I did and it was great.👍 Chicken cooked slowly so it was really moist and super tasty. Bloody Lovely 😊

weve used this company many times. but recently their delivery times have been very slow but last order took over an hour and 45 mins and when it did arrive the food was cold and the order was completely wrong what we originally ordered cost more than what we received and no refund was offered and the guy on the phone didn't really seem to care as he was to busy talking to customers in the shop., won't use ever again very very poor service all round . if I could give no stars I would .

Order was wrong and given a substitute item. Called up and really helpful however 45 mins after everyone else at their food my replacement arrived. Chicken was not cooked properly. Disappointed. Contacted just eat to request a refund through chat and the agent left... poor experience overall.

Had to call to chase order, when it arrived the driver didn't have change so had to raid money box to get correct money. Food had clearly been reheated in microwave. Won't be using them again.

normally everything is fine from here but not this time, had blue plastic type string stuck in all the chicken in the kebab, called to say about it, the chef was extremely rude but ended up sending another, I then receive a small when ordered a large, called and got shouted at by the chef, 3 hours after ordering I finally get what I paid for, that was after several more calls and being spoken to like a child. never again will I order from here!!

They added 10 minutes on for delivery then it arrived at the original time anyway. Food was fine but portion size seems to depend on the mood of the day rather than why you order - sometimes you're luckier than other times.

Didn't get exactly what I ordered it is asked for cheesecake and got chocolate cake and I asked for chips in pitta bread and salad and I got just chips except for them two the burger was nice

TKebab was like leather, almost inedible, and incredibly salty. Will not be using this place again!!!

I ordered my food nearly hour and half ago, my original delivery time was 20.15 which was pushed back to 20.25, at 20.35 I rang shop who told me mine was being cooked next and that the chef is busy and they are short of drivers! Poor service and tried to make me feel bad for chasing my order, I can not review the food as I am still waiting

Took 1hr 20mins to deliver order was wrong which seems to be the norm judging by other reviews, phoned up for refund of the difference and they couldn't help so will need to raise a complaint with Just Eat don't understand how you can get it wrong when it's written down just seems like they are not bothered when orders are wrong.

My only complaint was the fact nobody read my comments for salt and vinger and sauce choices etc. Poor amount of salad in the kebab (never had so little) which was ironic as I had requested extra salad. Both burgers had ketchup one should have been burger sauce! Both burgers should have had cheese only one did. Everyone ate and still enjoyed there food. Next time I think I will just pick up and know my order will be right

all in all pretty good here only problem I have is that occasionally the food gets here pretty late sometimes. and a couple of times items have been wrong or forgotten. honestly can't complain about the food quality. its pretty awesome which is why I keep ordering from here.

I ask it for 14:55 and did not tune up till 15:32 and I was not happy with this

Completely mucked up my order, orderd cheesy chips and got plain and then ordered onion rings and received none! Tried calling and none of their contact numbers work! Had to phone just eat customer service in the end, even they could not get through to the restaurant. Not happy.
