Lovely meal except the Sheek Kebab had no spice or seasoning which made it very bland. Mains and naan were perfect. Atmosphere excellent and service very attentive, despite it being exceptionally busy.

Beautiful food, have yet to dine in but its on the cards, best takeaway for miles, and very reasonably priced too. My only criticism, and it's only a minor one, is the naan could be bigger, better still can you do a large or family naan? My life would then be complete 😋

The food was fantastic, well cooked, well spiced , just lovely.

Whilst on a short break we had a Take away which was one of the best I've had. Great talking the guy at bar.

Had a fantastic 90 th birthday celebration for a family member food was served hot and extremely tasty. Naz , Mash & Sam were great and even had a surprise birthday cake made for the birthday boy.

First time we have used Bahar after a recommendation. Ordered 2 curry's for takeaway, when I poured them onto the plates it was like chicken soup - too runny. Shame as the chicken was nice quality, naan bread very small, rice was OK. Called & spoke with Sam who served me (nice young man), who said to order a thicker sauce next time & hoped I would go back. Had asked for ghee to be used but that was missing. Not a good first impression.

Came to Bahar when the restaurant we had planned to visit was closed but didn't regret it. Good food, reasonably priced, and excellent service. Will come here again.

We had an amazing dining experience at Bahar. Loved the upstairs dining room, our server/host Samuel was very hospitable, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Samuel's recommendation of the House Special Bahar King-Prawn Curry was absolutely delicious. We also had Kingfisher Beer, Channa Masala, Chicken Biryani and Butter Naan. Everything was spot-on! Highly recommend Bahar!!

What an awesome meal. From the time we walked in until the moment we left, the staff were helpful, polite and attentive. The food arrived promptly and hot. The staff left us to our meal until it was clear we'd finished the course. It was worth every penny and they will definitely get our custom in the future. Well done team for an amazing evening.

We had take out while on holiday in the area. Nice curry. Phoned to order and was ready to pick up when they said.

Wonderful evening Food was delicious. Drinks were great. 2 starters, 2 mains, garlic fried rice, chapati, pint of beer and 2 double vodkas and 2 cans Diet Coke = £47. So very reasonable. Lovely staff. Free street parking after 6pm. Can’t wait to visit again

We recently dined at this establishment and my goodness were we thrilled. In particular, the king prawn dish that I was recommended was a mouthwatering and delightful experience encompassed in a perfectly seasoned dish. So many delicate flavors came through and the flavor profile was so well balanced. My husband, hailing from Bradford, is very conservative with his praise for south Asian cuisine. But even he was raving. In fact, we’re considering bringing additional friends and family down just to try this food.

Monkfish beautifully cooked in an unique blend of spices, flavoursome Bhindi cooked to a perfect texture,keema naan contained just right amount of meat and was nice and tasty- Bahar biryani was an excellent mixture of meats served with a veg curry with the right consistency .Staff were very friendly and attentive.Will definitely return when next staying in the area.

Just had the best veg samosa I have ever tried. My partner had the hot and spicy sheek kabab. She really enjoyed the opportunity to have a choice I have the veg korai, and my partner had the garlic chilli we both really enjoyed the meals. This would be a regular restaurant of choice if we didn't live in the Wirral.

Had the best meal ever last night and we couldn't fault it at all. The staff were so friendly and quick to take an order and bring our food out to us. Extremely clean. Food wasn't over priced either. Would highly recommended and I just wish they were our local restaurant.

Absolutely amazing, the staff were perfect, but they were genuinely interested in how we felt about our food, and not only that... One staff member even joined in on our discussion! We were talking about a certain topic, in which I bought up bullying - which he overheard and couldn't help but ask if anyone was being bullied and looked very worried. And the food was divine. Such a good selection, in which you may see below :

First time visit last night, was absolutely blown away by the fabulous choice of vegetarian meals. We had the poppadum's and chutneys one of which was really unique and tasty. Had the korai and hubby had the clay-pot again, delicious and so different from the normal run of the mill. Staff were lovely and welcoming. A lovely atmosphere to dine in. Will definitely be back again. Thank you for making our evening special.

Extremely disappointing since the place was not open when we repeatedly tried this week. I understand it's possible that they might have problems, but that being the case, why don't they say so on their website? It shows a complete disregard for potential customers. Lesson is, phone before you go!

Had the Bahar k.prawn special and it was delicious. Manager is really friendly and we appreciated the discount on takeaways. Highly recommend!

Was taken to this restaurant tonight by 2 friends fir the first time. Wonderful food, excellent service. Would highly recommend for a lovely meal out in relaxed surroundings and lovely staff. Really nice surprise food outstanding service polite and not wait to long

Having just moved to the area, this was our first takeaway. It was absolutely amazing. The food was so tasty and delicious. The food was hot and fresh, will definitely be eating here again soon.

Stopped here on our way passing through back to London. Pleasantly surprised by the quality, the flavours and the staff. The man serving us was really friendly and very attentive. Really impressed by the food, would recommend.

Had a takeaway from here. My husband likes his much hotter than me. It's difficult when the restaurant staff don't know what you like, but both meals were excellent. He had a North Indian with chicken and I had chicken Rezzela. His was very spicy with tender, juicy meat, and mine wasn't very spicy, but it was superbly tasty. The saag rice, special pilau rice and cheese and onion naan were also superb. We will definitely return. Fantastic job guys.

This curry emporium is great! Eaten here several times and wndulhed in a few take aways too. Everytime the food has been great. The best sagg aloo ever too. So if you fancy a curry, why not give them a try? So good luck!

They make amazing food, polite staff and go out of their way to cater Vegan options.

We were loyal customers till saturday night!! Waited over 40 minutes for drinks and 1 hour and 25 minutes for main meal. When food did turn up 2 out of the 3 curries were cold, Hair in the rice and wrong naan breads. When complained they took 2 drinks of bill. Will never return.

Excellent customer service. Will cater for dietary requirements including vegan. Only ordered twice but food was lovely each time. Need to go in and have a meal at some point!

Lovely food as ever and was properly busy which was good to see. The only reason for dropping a star was because two out of the three people who served us that evening didn't crack a smile at all which makes you feel highly unwelcome.

This restaurant is located in a beautiful old timbered building. The staff are efficient, polite and accommodating. The bar is downstairs and meals are served upstairs. However, should you require to eat downstairs, I'm sure this wouldn't be a problem. Parking is free outside the building.

Absolutely top class Indian food. We had 12 dishes to share on the table and each one was cooked to perfection and flavoured excellently.

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a longtime now as we visit the restaurant frequently for takeaway or to dine in! The service is above expectations from all the staff making it a very warm welcome everytime, dining areas are very nicely fitted out to a high standard. As for the food in all the years we have visited has never once let us down, covering all types of dishes from very flavoursome to tasty but hot dishes. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough not only in Tenbury but 1 of the best in the country and well worth a visit to! Well done to all the staff!! Stuart Summers

Always a warm welcome. Renamed from Naz's due to the new chef, Bahar. His new special, your curry inside a deep fried naan, has to be seen to be believed! Well worth a visit.
