Baguettes the Sandwich Company in Rochdale

I ordered the pulled pork baguette and it was amazing. Not really one for jalapeños but they went perfect on the baguette. 100% recommend

First visit based on family recommendation. I wanted ham but it was sold out. I chose a turkey baguette and expected slices of turkey as the menu said. My £5 baguette had only little scraps of turkey and no slices and very little. What I received was disappointing and poor value.

About time Baguettes updated its menu on the website with correct prices. Also it would be good if they offered receipts. How can they really justify charging £4.40 for spam on toast consisting of 2 slices of bread and 1 slice of spam? Over priced!

Baguettes is somewhere my family and I have gone to for years. It is incredibly affordable, the food is delicious and the staff are very polite and fast. Beware, it gets busy at lunch time, but that's a given considering many know this place to be a great place to buy your lunch. Despite the rush, the staff are always polite and kind to the customers, that says a lot to me. I also never flinch when I see the price on the card machine. Personal recommendation for what to try: BBQ Chicken, Bacon and Cheese Baguette OR the Pasta, Pesto, Chicken, Bacon, and Pine Nut Salad Box

This place has gone downhill. it's all different staff since I was last in there and the food is now absolutely rubbish. I've been twice now in the last month and both times were a mistake and a costly mistake at that. The food is bang average and the meat is as cheep as you can get, not the quality butty it used to be. A few of the girls were nice but the woman that seems to be the manager/new owner is in a world of her own and has no time for the customer and is just shouting absolute rubbish across the shop to her friends cooking. Last time she forgot what I asked for twice and then still wrote it down wrong and I had to wait for 1 of the buttys to be remade, while the ones in my bag were going cold, I was 1 of 2 customers and was in the shop for 25 mins and I only asked for basic buttys and they wasn't running round making loads of other orders or i could have understood. I won't be going back and wouldn't recommend anyone else does either.

This place used to have fantastic food and amazing service, but sadly this isn't the case anymore. I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5 for the food/couldn't even rate the service. Only upside is they play the radio loud enough to distract you from the rude/arrogant manager.

Hot steak sandwich on baguette £5.90 - 40p for each extra. The beef was slightly tough, not too bad and the onions were nice enough. A tiny bit of gravy, on the plus side it wasn’t messy. A little bit pricey.

Wow this place has slipped there throwing out freezing cold chicken baguettes that have apparently just come out the oven, yet are served as cold sandwiches?😂 Disgusting freezing cold chicken on Luke warm bread and they outright refused to warm it up shocking

Excellent food, and great choice. Always busy but service is still fast. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality and serving sizes. Parking is very limited, so park in a side street.

The food is very good. The prices are far too high. Feel like I have my pants pulled down every time I go. Bacon butty - £3.80 Chicken bacon mayo baguette - £5.20 Cup of soup - £3.30 I can eat for less in the northern quarter. Every item on the menu is at least 30% overpriced. The food is nice but in the current climate, represents very little value for money

This is a superb takeaway baguette place. I won't go anywhere else for a sausage/bacon/egg baguette. Service is swift and they are always delicious

Most disappointing breakfast I’ve had for the cost. I’ve been to this cafe on several occasions. I usually get a baguette which have been really nice but on this occasion I fancied a full English breakfast. I had high expectations but unfortunately they didn’t deliver. Most of the breakfast was okay at best but the worst part was the sausages which was cheap and nasty. For £8 a breakfast I expected some quality. I won’t be eating here again!

First & last time. Food was awful & overpriced.

Always used to go here as it’s local and I want to support the businesses. Recently they seem to be varying opening hours. Always used to be 3pm. Now they seem to switch the lights off at 2pm and stand there for an hour doing nothing! Website states 3pm but apparently it’s been like this for months according to the staff. Why on earth then don’t you change your advertised hours of operation!??

Great butties, the only problem was tried to place a telephone order but phone just kept ringing out.

I got a chicken salad box and got food poisoning from the chicken! Was poorly for days! Will never use this place again. 0 stars.

If I could have 0 stars, I would. Rang up to place an order to collect, and because they didn’t have something we requested, we had to choose something else while on the phone (obviously we know that they may not have everything sometimes), let the lady know that we won’t be a second just having a quick look at the menu and we got ‘I don’t have all day’ and ‘I don’t have time’ and ‘come in there’s only 3 people’ … how rude… used them for years but due to the horrible attitude and the way she spoke, I refuse to spend money in that place. I will not give my money to people who speak to me or anyone that way. Honestly take your custom somewhere else.

Wow, 3 times I have been into this place and not been served for 20 minutes each time.. walked out on 2 occasions… everybody acts as if nobody is there… the only reason I returned was because the second time I went in and ate the food was absolutely amazing but service is just way below standard.

Takes an hour to make a few butties. Maybe don't hire kids and pay them a pittance and get some actual professionals in who can run a shop

The baguettes are lovely and the low fat bacon but every time you ask for sauce they come swimming in it absolutely horrible! Had to scrape off about 3 table spoons to try to eat it and was still all soaked into the baguette totally inedible

Bit expensive and always a bit of a wait for anything but foods good, however they now ignore the phone so cant place orders, just go there and have to wait outside. Customer service has always been somewhat lacking but think its hit a new low, which is a shame really.

Love the food from here, but today was the first time I have come into the shop my self (we normally order). Obviously with new rules in place everyone is abit confused of how to do things. But I have not had to wear a mask in any food places before (just to comment not even all the staff members in the shop had masks on) I was waiting inside for about 3 minutes before I came to order nothing was said. Then as I come to the counter the women with pinkish hair was so arrogant and rude. Saying I would not be served with no mask, I asked if I could order and come back she said no I had to buy one to order my food. Then I wanted to pay on cars because my card was not contactless she just rolled her eyes and passed me the machine then wouldn’t take it back. I never normally even take my time to right a review but it literally made my blood boil. If I am to come back here but pretty sure I won’t and she speaks to me like that again my latte will be going on her Face! Tell the sour face cow that

Really nice food, unfortunately its success has resulted in it's downfall. 35 minute wait for a lunch time sandwich isn't great service.

Had the pulled pork, cheese, coleslaw and jalapeños... Was amazing, worth the 5 stars by itself.

Just been in for 2 breakfast baguettes. Asked for brown sauce on both sandwiches but they put tomatoe ketchup on mine (hate ketchup) so didn't eat it. Also the baguette was under baked. Wont be using again. Pay attention when taking orders...

I always try to go here when I'm staying at a relatives that lives near by always great service and the food is excellent also when I take my dog I tie her up to go order my food and pay then wait outside with my dog the server always brings my food out to me and also brings my dog a sausage so she doesn't feel left out

Fresh baguettes made daily, salad tubs and full breakfast. Good quality ingredients! Spotless premises and friendly staff. Defo worth a visit if your in the area 👌

Got a hangover? Need to play some sort of sport? Then come to baguetts and get their freshly baked bread butties. Can whole heartedly recommend the chicken mayo and bacon. Would recommend phoning in the order though as it gets quite busy.

Never been in before, yet passed many times. Bought a meat pie and lamb with mint and onion baguette. Pie was lovely and after walking all the way home to sudden, my baguette was still warm. That was delicious. Very good selection of items and all staff were very busy. I shall call again when I'm over that way

Having driven past for many months, today I thought I drive over and try for my lunch. Clean, spacious and staff were polite. Freshly prepared lunch that was really tasty. Defo, will be back as the menu look smashing and i want to try more.

Fantastically tasty food. Be prepared to wait at busy times, but well worth the wait. Bacon and sausage baguette is highly recommended.

Worst customer sevice I’ve had it a long time they don’t make any attempt to serve you they say they’ll be with you and leave you waiting and serve regulars before you. Really embarrassing experience and very poor service is me being awful nice I wouldn’t attend this business again if it was the last place on earth.

Tasty food with a wide variety of choice and great, fast service!

The food is delicious and fresh, you can clearly see everything being made in front of you. The Staff are friendly, polite and are focused on the job but they do get very busy at times and that can only be a compliment to how good their food and service is. Parking is pretty limited though as there is a bus stop directly outside and there is a step up to walk in so limited wheelchair access too. There are 2 sets of tables out side and a few inside,to be fair it's more a takeaway then eat in but thats not to say people dont eat in. I've waited both inside and outside before. In my opinion it's the best in the area! The menu has a good variety to suit all.
