Friendly welcome & nice ambience, staff are attentive without being overly so- especially the manager Pamela who was ensuring guests were well looked after.

Took my fiancé here for her 30th birthday and it did not disappoint! Food was spectacular! Highly recommend the huge! prawns, croquettes and octopus. Really impressed and will definitely be back very soon. Thank you team @ bachata!

The worst spanish food I had in a very long time. I am spanish, and chef, it was the most expensive and smallest portions I had in my whole life. There is much better,cheaper and better quality food in other restaurants in the surrounding areas. I was expecting much better from this establishment and I leave very disappointed

Beautiful tapas restaurant in Horsham! My nan and I came today for some lunch and we both agreed it was our favourite meal we’ve ever had together! As soon as you enter, you get greeted and taken to your table, the staff were very friendly and welcoming! The tapas were delicious and very authentic, we wish we could have eaten the whole menu!! There was an extensive menu of cocktails, which we both indulged in! The French martini was amazing!! The salty raspberry mocktail was also a good choice! The decor of the restaurant itself felt very put together and gave the ‘up market’ look even though the prices were very affordable! We want to give a special thanks to Luigi who finished off our amazing experience at bachata! My Nan is Greek and loved talking to Luigi about her culture and had a nice conversation about everything Mediterranean haha! The personal touch we received from him today really did make the meal the best we have ever had together! Really welcoming and attentive to us. If you want an affordable, authentic tapas restaurant, with the added bonus of good cocktails AND the special personal touch, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Visited for the first time today for bottomless brunch. Fantastic value for money with great food and Prosecco a plenty but the main standout was the staff - every member of the team took time to chat to us and were so friendly! Bravo Bachata 👌🏻

Absolute find when searching for somewhere to eat today - how have I missed this since October??? Great service from Shaun/Sean and his young colleague. Had a good range of tapas - Pimiento de padron, Patatas bravas, Whitebait, Chicken y albondigas. Proper chill out feeling. Highly highly recommended and definitely be back.

Food is very good and reasonably priced. Service (Sean) was attentive without being over bearing.

Had my 40th birthday here and went for dinner again last Saturday, the food is incredible and Pamela and Sean are simply the best! Pamela made sure she got me decorations for my birthday put the DJ upstairs for my party and made the paella herself! Incredible food and the place itself is just lush. Cocktails are GREAT too! Best Espresso Martini’s I’ve ever had.

Amazing place and night out. Location, setting and resteraunt was perfect, and the food, service and value for money was outstanding. My wife loved it, especially the cocktails, me too. Will definitely go back and tell all my friends to visit, hopefully with us again. Lovely for the Manager and Owner to come and speak to us as well. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I am afraid that this is not real Spanish food. The jamon was prosciutto (totally different thing), the pardon peppers weren't fully cooked and lacking in salt, they didn't want to serve us the Spanish omelette because it wasn't up to Spanish standards, the empanadillas didn't look like home made. The service was good though. Summarising, there is room for improvement.

I think we’ve adopted this as our up-market local. The staff are engaging and friendly with great cocktail knowledge, The surroundings and music are spot on for losing yourself in a bit of continental coolness and the food is a wonderful array of flavoursome tapas. We go here often due to the environment and the appreciation shown for our custom ❤️ great spot ⚡️

Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful staff and service, a shame the same can’t be said for the food and wine. Anyone with knowledge and love of Spanish food and wine - avoid. Anyone wanting a fun and vibrant atmosphere with cocktails, this place is great!

Fab afternoon Girls catch up for Tapas and Drinks. Great menu that isn’t too overwhelming and has everything we would usually choose from a Tapas. Very friendly, professional and quick service. Food was lovely in particular the Gambas al ajillo that were a stand out for me. Look forward to returning.

My wife and I we had the greatest experience at this tapas restaurant. Pamela, she's always giving great service and always a warm welcoming to her customers. Also I like to mention Teya , always smiling at the tables, very attentive and dedicated to the job. We will definitely coming back soon.

We had a fabulous night at Bachata last Thursday. It was 70’s/80’s music night and the atmosphere was buzzing and fun. The food was delicious with large portions (huge Padron colliders and garlic prawns! ) - we also had chorizo, croquettas, tortilla and the albondigas and it was all delicious. The staff were all very lovely and attentive and even though the restaurant was busy they did not miss a beat! Fab evening and we will be back again soon!

I've been there a few times and the atmosphere was excellent, starting with I love the fact that the place is over 25 Year old so you have excellent behaviour and unnecessary "extra noise" late in the night. Food wise, in case you don't now this is a Spanish inspired restaurant, this is the closest you can get to the Mediterranean gastronomy from the Spanish country, it's tapas based and everything is just delicious, croquetas, albondigas, tortilla, you name it, delicious Venue, it's very well balanced between cozy and familiar mixed up with party vibes, they run some theme based events on Thursday and they are just fantastic. Staff, they are the friendliest and most adorable around, very close and engaged with everyone, you feel like at home in this little venue, you better go and try it

Unfortunately nothing to do with real Spanish food. We went for the lunch menu and the ingredients weren't great (serrano ham and prosciutto are not the same thing!), preparation quite poor and the flavours nowhere close to the real thing. Can't recommend

Great food, great atmosphere lovely people, came there a week ago had a beer and some patatas bravas, best bravas I've had in a while! Would 100% recommend for couples as a date night! Shout-out to teya for serving me

We had dinner for two here and found it to be a bit of a mixed bag. The decor is very glittery and more than a bit strange with gilded mannequins hanging off the walls and Moroccan-looking lampshades. Not very on theme for a tapas restaurant. Food-wise it was mostly fine, but nothing special. However the chorizo was an entire sausage served in 1-inch prices and was undercooked and chewy. The margarita cocktails we had were over-sweet. The wait staff were lovely and took care of us but overall we were left disappointed and have resolved not to return any time soon.

This is a nice addition to Horsham. The room upstairs is nicely decorated: the food is delicious; the service attentive and the ambiance is outstanding. However, the temperature of the room is hot and uncomfortable. Please open the windows :-)

Went there a few nights ago with friends. Told could have the table for 90mins beforehand but the place was still half empty when we left after 2 hours…offputting when you’re given such a tight slot to eat. I expect 2 hours min. Food nice but expensive for what it was however the sangria pitcher was a total rip off. There was barely any red wine in it - let alone rum or other spirit - for £24 a pitcher. All ice and lemonade…don’t bother with the sangria. I would have complained but being with friends who suggested this place, I didn’t want to cause a fuss.

Good atmosphere, good food but above all, good service. A cozy place where you can have a good time, enjoying a good meal, as a Spaniard, I feel at home. Thanks to the entire Bachata team. Thank you and we will return.

A decent experience overall but left slightly disappointed afterwards. Very nice atmosphere and the food was of good quality but the lunch menu tapas portions were small, leaving us quite hungry after. We were the only ones in the restaurant but it took a long time for drinks to arrive. The menu on their website showed prices far lower than in the actual menu in the restaurant. Service charge was added to the bill even though the menu explicitly says they don’t add it on at all.

Food was very delicious and the interior of the restaurant is beautiful! However, the portion is really small, and the menu on their website shows the wrong price and mentioning there’s no service charge. When going in person today the set menu price is much higher and there’s a high service charge as well. I really enjoyed the food today but the experience overall was a little reduced due to the above.

I went to Bachata (Feb) for a friend's birthday. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. After we finished the food, we went downstairs for some drinks - they had a DJ with some great songs. I will definitely come again

It was a little quiet upstairs, but the food and service were excellent. The music was also great. Tables are well spaced and chairs very comfortable. We had a great mid week lunchtime there and will definitely be going back.

Slow service - had each Tapas bought and then cleared before the next one was bought to the table. Food was poor, especially the soggy empanadas and lacklustre prawns. Saturday night and the restaurant was virtually empty. There was also very little choice. All in all a very underwhelming and expensive experience. The guy running it was responsible for the failed Zeyfin and the now massively overpriced and not as good as it used to be, Zeytin.

Popped in on Wednesday 8th November with my Carer friendly helpful greeting looked at Toilet facilities looks large enough to accommodate Wheelchair ♿️ users, currently not adapted. Choice of drinks Wine excellent.

Had 2 excellent meals since opening.. The attention to detail , great service, and good looking and tasting authentic tapas with lots of gluten free options. Oh and serves great wine and cocktails too

Party of four for lunch. We all had the set menu for lunch. You select 3 dishes from a good variety, plus a glass of wine. All the dishes were enjoyed by all. Well presented, piping hot and very tasty. We also had two desserts, which were also lovely and four coffees. Staff all very pleasant and attentive. Looking forward to our next visit. The set lunch menu is very good value as well.
