Babu's in Dundee City

Just had a takeaway delivered from babus & it was a great experience from the get go. Delivery driver was super nice.

kebab platter was ok, kids fish fingers overdone...I'd say it's not what it used to be and is well overpriced..delivery driver and the time super..

Ordered a munchie box for less than 20 squid I was impressed at how quick my order was delivered especially since it’s Saturday night. Food was still hot and delicious. Both me n the missus were packed there was easily enough food leftover for a third person to be equally satisfied. Flung leftovers in the garden for the foxes to feast on I’m sure they’ll be happy Tay

Munchie box and chicken wrap, delivered on time, food was hot and delicious,and I got all the extras I have asked for. I will order again :)

I asked for a chicken kebab it had onions and supposedly peppers there wasn't any peppers and it wasn't just chicken it was like they tried to wash the tikka of it but I could still taste the tikka on it as it was stinging my tongue.

Food was amazing, they have the best taste in town. Worth eating from babu’s.

Am always travelling to Aberdeen due to work and there's never anything decent to eat there so I travel to Dundee because of babus .. delicious food all the time .. love the chicken curry on chips my favourite .. good set of lads working here and top quality food .. keep up the good work lads and thank you

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt compelled this time. The food simply didn’t match the price. For £15, I expected a proper portion of doner meat and chicken tikka. Instead, half the box was just chips. The doner meat was barely a few bites, and the chicken tikka was just a couple of slices. It’s frustrating to pay a premium price and get mostly fillers instead of the main items you’re paying for. Typically, you’d expect onion bhajis or rings as extras, but here, they seemed to have swapped it for chips as the main focus. Definitely not worth the price !!!

First time ordering from here. Ordering and delivery was first rate. Ordered for 18:00 & it arrived piping hot at 18:07. The Special Calzone was superb and definitely will reordered again. The mixed starter was tasty but overly greasy. That's why the overall review is only 4 stars. If the starter had been less greasy, then it would have been 5s all all round.

Thanks for the 4 bits of 1/2cm of donner I paid £2 for as an extra topping on my pizza . If I had known wouldn’t have bothered lol.

Food is good but delivery is very slow. Tells you 55 mins on app, ended up taking nearly 3hrs due to a ‘mix up’. No call to let us know, we had to chase them. Really disappointing.

Just had a takeaway delivered from babus & it was a great experience from the get go. Delivery driver was super nice. Id ordered a vegetable korma with vegetable pakoras and onion chutney as a starter and it was all absolutely brilliant. If I was capable to eat more I definitely would! Everything was so full of flavour. I'm usually apprehensive about ordering a vegetable curry as the vegetables are usually just watery mush but not here! We loved it & will definitely be ordering again.

Delicious food! Collection time was fast, the staff are always lovely and chat. The food itself was hot and there was a generous amount of cheese on the chips. The donner pizza was super tasty with fantastic seasoning!!

Most of the meals were excellent, however the side salad and salad on my chilli doner box had clearly expired. It was stinking and unfortunately tarnished all the food it came in contact with. The side salad was removed but my chilli box was ruined. Massively disappointed but a one off I'm sure. Just sad.

I'm really fussy when it comes to kebabs, especially doner kebab, but Babu's was easily the best kebab I've tasted it. It was super fresh, nice fresh salad and it was packed.

Chips were overcooked, covered in chilli powder, which I asked not to have. And no cheese when stayed it comes with cheese. Such a good place but so inconsistent. and at that price, I'd expect it to be correct!

Always a fantastic experience with delicious food! Staff are always welcoming when I arrive. The food itself was piping hot with lots of cheese on the chips and the donner pizza was deliciously seasoned with plenty of meat.

First time ordering here for a long time and I was not disappointed. Food was amazing, great portion sizes and the oreo milkshake was the best I have ever tasted. Had my order within 20 minutes of ordering. Highly recommend

Absolutely disgusting. Chips soggy, burger burnt, wrap unfilled and chicken tasted like it had been cooked 4 times 3 days ago. Mac and cheese bites dry and not cheese flavour. So disappointed.

If there was 0 stars it would if got it , pizza saturated in grease , the underneath of the pizza box was about to fall apart , contacted just eat for refund for just the pizza of course , and was refused money back even after photos . embarrassing customer service from just eat 👎

Food was absolutely brilliant, but I had to walk further than the driver drive to collect my order. The restaurant is close by and really I should have just collected it in person. Again, great food just a bad delivery.

Amazing food with a very generous selection on the menu to spoil yourself with. Reasonably priced and staff alway helpful. And good parking availability near the shop which is very convenient.

The food is so delicious, and the prices are fair. My favourite one is Munchy box, which includes chicken pakora, chicken tikka, and eight more food items. Highly recommend. Value for money

Burger was nice but the chips went straight to the bin as they were just overcooked and hard. Was not able to eat them.

It looked appealing but I was disappointed wjth the chips being undercooked and the chicken to be chewy and overloaded.

Back to the quality food babus is known for. Really tasty tonight. Just a shame it was so late in arriving.

Mixed kebab was bland asked for sauce on it got none. Ordered chilli chips £4.50 for soggy tasteless chips also asked for garlic sauce got none..kebab meat was like plastic. Had 2 bits then binned it waste of £20 will never order again!
