So disappointed that the order simply never showed up. Delivery service has never been that reliable but it's been tolerable. No show on the food, no-one to pick up the phone and it just goes to line busy after 2hrs of trying. Really disappointed, spoiled evening and a refund to chase. Usually great food, such a shame Wouldn't recommend and won't be back 👎

Ordered at 8.30pm and food was finally delivered at 10.10pm. They had kindly thrown in a bottle of Tango and a couple of extra poppadoms as an apology for the delay, but sadly forgotten to send out the rice and naan bread we'd ordered. By this point we were so hungry we ate what we had. The guy on the phone said he would refund us the missing items. However, we paid a lot of money for an incomplete dinner. What we did have was nice though. Overall, very disappointing.

Usually the best Indian we use! Unfortunately tonight has been a let down with food all being stone cold when it got delivered, disappointing experience

1st time having takeaway from here and was not disappointed very nice and nice staff too . but the last one i had there was more water in it than curry ,never again and we have had the wrong food twice ,but they did change it , it might be the chef has changed , but thats the last time we have food from there

I ordered from here last night and it was awful to be blunt about it. 1/2 the food was wrong naans where wrong rice was wrong and the curry’s where awful we use them quite regularly but that was the last for me I think it was really bad unfortunately

Delivered chicken nuggets instead of scampi ?. Ordered a chicken naga which turned out to be watery, just seemed like an ordinary curry with a little pickle mixed in and the chicken was dry.

New customer and first time I've ever left a review but this food is so delicious! Beautifully spiced, tender meat and not swimming in oil or ghee. That's what I call a proper curry. The poppadoms are the lightest and crispiest I've ever had. Best takeaway in my opinion.

AVOID: Gave feedback via Uber eats, delivery was so long the Massala was full of condensation and tepid along with wet poppadoms and soggy naan.This is the restaurants reply: Baburchi: Thank you for your feedback But that review is purely false statement. How can a Massala be soggy ? We deliver our food the fastest in Tamworth straight after cooking. All food are well packed and delivered with care. So stop trying to get refund without even thinking about how it affects a business. Please order from else where next time. We do not appreciate scambags like you.

Had a takeaway from here last night and oh my god it was delicious, usually I save some for the next day but just could not stop eating it and before I knew it I had finished the lot in one sitting. Waited 45 mins after ordering on just eat for them to cancel the order then multiple excuses as to why had multiple delivery’s to the camp site at Kingsbury don’t bother using them

The food was just under an hour late, called you three times to find out what was going on, just to keep having the time pushed back. You assured us of a discount for next time, kept selling this, even the delivery driver mentioning this, only to find out after that the voucher expired 3 days later. You could of just apologised rather than insult me.

Been a customer over a year now after searching for the best curry house and finally found it. Always fantastic food, never greasy and never leaves that heavy feeling on your stomach. Delivery is fast as I live the other side of tamworth and is still eatable when it’s delivered. Always order through there own website as just eat has higher delivery charges Recommend to anyone

We ordered a take away from here as a last minute decision, ahead of a diet on Monday. Not our local so took a punt on ordering based on other reviews. Hands down, one of THE best take aways i have ever eaten in my life. We ordered the lemon chilli rice, cheese and keema naan, lamb starter and a Modhu Minty Lamb Aloo. The Curry was the perfect balance of spice and flavour but every single dish was absolutely outstanding. The whole meal was 10/10, so happy that was our last meal off plan and can not wait to order again. Thank you!!

Ordered last weekend using the Uber Eats app. 1 X X.Large Chicken Tikka Fried rice, which was okay. 1 X Paneer Tikka Shashlik starter, again was okay. 1 X Chilli and Cheese Naan which was really nice. 1 X Chicken Tikka Shashlik Bhuna Main Course, which was awful. I'm by no means a serial bad reviewer, in fact my reviews of most places have been good and they're always accurate and fair. I left a review of this order which was accurate and fair, focussing mainly on the fact that the Main Course contained only 4 pieces of chicken and had instead been 'packed out' with huge, uncooked chunks of halved tomatoes and onions. Most restaurant owners would be apologetic after providing poor food or service....but not this one. He responded by telling me the main course I bought for £7.95 had been a 'starter' when it wasn't, then called me a liar! I'm absolutely livid and incredulous to the absolutely non-existent customer service skills and absence of any kind of common courtesy on display here. I would suggest to the management that they invest some of that money they're making by charging main-course prices for starters and take themselves off for some intensive hospitality and customer service training. Being rude and insulting to paying customers when they leave honest reviews will only ensure they never give you a second chance, as in my case.

We’ve been a regular customer for over a year now, these guys are always spot on. Excellent service at all times, food always delicious and piping hot, their takeaways are always packed and presented professionally.

Absolutely raging. Never again. Promised the kids a chicken tikka masala all week. Ordered from here. Waited 90 minutes. Mine and the wife's turned up cold! The kids chicken tikka didn't turn up at all. Phoned to complain to which who ever answered said I had to wait another 45 minute's to get the last dish delivered! Zero apology or care. His solution after I declined to wait was that I pick up the chicken tikka up from them and heat up what had already landed. He actually suggested I heat up in the microwave the food that had been delivered 60 seconds earlier. He claimed I was rude which was literally the only was he could possibly see himself out of the phone call. I will quite happily tell everybody I known not to bother using this circus.

First time I ordered from here and I only got part of the order and when I phoned them they said they check it before it leaves, so in effect calling us liers. We never got to eat the food as the attitude from them was so bad it put us off. We will never order of them again. The food we did get went in the bin total waste of money and evening spoilt. Worst customer service I have ever had.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Food arrived late so was cold which wasn’t a good start. Chicken tikka masala came as chicken curry which was a poor excuse of a curry was just a watery mess. Mint dips were absolutely tiny This maybe would have been okay if baburchi would have apologised and tried to make right with the issues when we phoned up and told them but they just argued on the phone. I can see the kind of people they are when they write ‘FALSE STATEMENT’ on bad reviews. So yeah really would not recommend and will never order from here again. I’ve never had to cook dinner after ordering a takeaway because we weren’t at all filled.

I am fussy when it comes to curry but they always make my curry just as I like it. The portion sizes are amazing and the delivery drivers are very friendly. All round wonderful service.

Ordered online est 60 minutes on time piping hot and bloomin lovely would definitely recommend.

I was in the mood for a specific type of curry which wasn't on the menu (something spicy with lamb and fruit) but the gentleman on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful and offered to adapt a bhuna, adding more spices and some pineapple to make it to my liking which I think is fantastic. What's more the curry was absolutely delicious! We also got a mango lamb bhuna which was so sweet and tasty, the sauce was actually a perfect accompaniment to the spicy lamb bhuna. We also has the arabian rice (rice with raisins/sultanas) which really topped it off. Will definitely be ordering again.

Awful takeaway. Found rock/stone in sons naan wrap. Manager was abusive and homophobic towards us and also swore at my son I. The phone who is a minor. Will be contacting environmental health with all evidence. Including recordings from management and staff and conversation with Just Eat that told us the takeaway can issue an immediate refund. Manager refused. He then went along to threaten my partner.

All spice not heat!!time is at an end for those other curry guys getting the main chef in for a month then get the custom. Chef leaves and mediocrity ensumes, these guys are the deal. Unless they do a six week turn instead of a month...not the way there going. Applause

Ordered from here twice so far , once for delivery and timing was brilliant considering it was being delivered to Atherstone. Pre ordered for collection for new years eve it was ready on time and the food was beautiful. By far one of the best Indian takeaways in the area

Had an amazing take away from Baburchi last night! Quite possible the best indian takeaway I've ever had! We had Lamb Balti Chicken tikka masala Chicken corma Chicken saagwala All of which were very tasty and loads of meat. Definatly found my new favourite curry! Thank you Baburchi 🥘

Used to be great up until a couple of weeks ago. Must have a new chef or owner as food poisoning 2 weeks in a row now. Food tastes horrible now but first week I thought it was a one off perhaps, but nope! Worse the following week. Haven't been able to taste anything but rotten prawns since Sunday. Thought they sorted this out when they changed from Spice Land. Change my review to 0 stars if possible!

Our favourite Indian takeaway. The staff are friendly and the food invariably good. They will deliver but we often opt for collection as we can be more certain what time we will get our food. There is parking outside. The review above was from January 2018 and was 5* We went yesterday, 10th March, after a gap of 2 weeks. The ordering system had changed-seemed more professional but less friendly-and so it appeared had the chef! The free onion bhajis were inedible and left a disgusting taste in the mouth, and the curries were nowhere near as good as the last time we went. Even the popadoms had a greasy taste. Some front of house staff seemed to have changed too. Not a change for the better. We will be looking elsewhere for a more consistent takeaway.

Until recently this has been my favourite take away. However last time I ordered the food was cold and was 35 minutes later than they said it would be. I excused this as it was a Saturday night. But tonight we were told the order would be delivered in 45 minutes. Finally turned up after 1 hour and 10 minutes. The order was wrong. The Balti ordered was not what we received. The lamb tikka masala was chunks of fat. Inedible. And the cheese naan had one blob of melted cheese which was thick and greasy. Not at all impressed. Not worth the money. Will not be ordering from here again!!!

Good food always get a few extra poppadom when you collect. Prices reasonable although I think now closed on Tuesdays
