Baba's Mezze in Bath and North East Somerset

The portion size was HUGE but the food was cooked to perfection. The service was extremely friendly and efficient. I would definitely return for another meal.

I enjoyed a lovely lunch here today. One of the yoghurt dishes topped with rose petals was excellent. Beautifully cooked meat & interesting salads for our mains. Generous portions. Friendly service in a busy, buzzy restaurant.

Primera vez que visito una muy buena comida. Las alas con granadas para empezar era excelente. Las bebidas son muy caras por lo que es una noche costosa. Dos cervezas pequeñas. Dos vasos de rojo de la casa añadidos a un entrante y dos tuberías llegaron a £ 106. No me apresuraría a regresar.

We had a delicious meal with exceptionally attentive service. The lamb and rice we shared were perfectly cooked—everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!

Second visit and again did not disappoint. Excellent food and service both times. House was very good. Highly recommend this fabulous little restaurant

What a lovely restaurant to share with family. The service, food, and value were just spot on. We hope to be back soon! The staff were lovely, the food was gorgeous, with plenty of choice and flavour.

Mezze we ordered were disappointing. Popcorn squid and halloumi both identical to what I’ve purchased from Costco frozen and cooked at home. Olives also very poor quality. Overpriced for what you get, The chicken Kebab was tasty but you don’t get any rice with it and the salad is mainly onion. Been wanting to try for ages after seeing on Instagram but wouldn’t go back. Lots of better places to eat in Bath.

Just opened the door with a lovely welcome. Sat by window with very pleasant views and decor. We went for Meze weren’t disappointed. Loved the popcorn squid and lamb best

Very disappointing experience. Started with very slow service by the waiter who seemed more interested in talking to his friend than taking our order or topping up our water glasses. First two mezze dishes were promising, tasty and plentiful, but the two stews we had for mains were extremely bland, literally no flavour whatsoever. The vegetarian one had three thin slices of mushroom and hardly any aubergine, it was mainly just yellow split peas. After a few mouthfuls I had to give up. Sadly, later that evening both of us suffered from bad stomach issues and that was the only food we had all evening, so my assumption is that's what caused it.

Such a warm welcome, enthusiastic and happy waiting staff (Ned is brilliant!). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which the staff helped us to order. The lamb shank is delicious and the baklava is out of this world!

very disappointed the food was tasteless the rice was terrible tasteless no help from our waitress she never once dared to come to our table to ask how our food was and finally after we decided to leave because we waited a long time at our expense finally we went to pay with her, she even gave us our bill with a service charge, we left very disappointed .

This place is fabulous find! Starters, Popcorn squid ....absolutely delicious! Baba Ganoush and breads, I can't stop thinking about this. Mains, we tried dishes we'd never had before and everything was seasoned beautifully, the spices wow, just mouthwatering, we were so full too, as plenty of food. Tea, Wine, this is an exquisite place. Warm, welcoming staff, we'd not booked as visiting for the Christmas Market and they were so accommodating, even though it was packed out. Would 100% recommend and visit again.

La comida y el personal eran increíbles , la comida era tan fresca y sabrosa una experiencia muy agradable , la carne era tan tierna y sabrosa y los entrantes eran muy sabrosos y era comida que nunca antes había experimentado y recomendaría a la gente probar esta excelente cocina.

Vimos un TikTok de Kieran foodie amigo, tuvo la suerte de conseguir una mesa. El servicio era fantástico y la comida era increíblemente sabroso derretir en su boca. Uno de los mejores lugares donde hemos comido. Escenario perfecto para nuestra cena de aniversario. Recomendaría encarecidamente

Había oído cosas buenas sobre Baba’s y cuando entramos no me decepcionó - el ambiente es bueno - decoraciones cálidas y encantadoras, un servicio amable y educado y buena música que te permite hablar pero crea un ambiente borroso. La comida era buena, pero solo una advertencia - el menú indica orden 2- 3 mezzes y un plato principal por persona. ¡Esto resulta ser demasiada comida! Pedimos 2 mezzes y uno principal cada uno. Francamente, no necesitábamos el principal (y esto viene de alguien que puede comer mucho!). Los mezzes eran encantadores - sabroso baba ganoush y hummus. Buen pan plano, falafel y ensalada. La red llegó - había pedido berenjena, lentejas y estofado de hongos que era muy bueno, pero venía con suficiente arroz para alimentar a unas 4 personas. No noté en el menú que venía con arroz, así que esto fue solo un desperdicio total de comida. Mis amigos tenían kebabs de pollo que eran tiernos pero enormes! Todos nos fuimos sintiendo que la comida era buena, pero que sus consejos de menú nos habían llevado a pedir demasiado, lo que era una pena para el desperdicio de alimentos y nuestras carteras! Otro consejo - la cerveza persa sin alcohol (Istak) sabe muy dulce - como una coca. No lo disfruté.

Went for food with a friend and we had a really nice time, friendliest staff they were super nice and the food was sooooo good. We shared some of the mezze platters and it was really reasonable shared between us. The baba ganoush and the chicken wings were the favourite. Our table neighbours were having the kebabs and they looked incredible so will definitely have to go back to try those!

Stumbled upon this place after having having drinks in The Raven pub around the corner. So glad we did, absolutely delicious food, well cooked, fantastic service. Nancy, our waitress was so lovely, and made our visit an 11/10.

Baba’s Mazze is amazing. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that makes you feel like family. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcomed and cared for. Whether it’s guiding you through their exceptional menu or offering thoughtful recommendations, the service is always attentive and personable.

We love Middle Eastern food. This was suggested by my wife simply by walking past it. The restaurant was busy suggesting it’s popular. We were not disappointed. The menu is small and to the point. Flavours were out of this world and the atmosphere was lovely. Lots of vegetarian options (I’d say most of the menu is suitable for vegetarians). My only criticism is, it’s pricey for what it is. A beer was £6.50 for 330ml (a standard coke can size) and the food was also more expensive than similar offerings however, the portions are ample for groups to share. Give it a try. I’d definitely go again if I’m feeling flush!

Absolutely delicious meal, one of the best we’ve had in a long time. We really enjoyed it and so glad we saved room for the warm baklava! We will be back soon.

Outstanding meal that exceeded all our expectations. We had a variety of meze starters and meat main courses and every single one was excellent. Our server, Teleri, was delightful and really added to the experience. Highly recommended.

Had such a lovely dinner here, was such a great spot to catch up with friends. Great service from hosts fin and will who were so helpful in explaining the menu. Teleri was also fab, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble! would 100% come back :)

This is a great spot for an intimate meal or supper with friends. A very relaxed atmosphere. The staff, Teleri and Davide were perfect hosts. The food was so delicious. We had the chicken and lamb kebabs...so tasty! A fabulous pudding ended an amazing meal. We will be back soon.

Recently visited for my husband’s birthday. Food was lovely, could not fault it, the Baklava was especially good! I understand you get what you pay for and the food was very good, but we did find the portion sizes on the smaller side (for the price). However £12.50 for a glass of (house) white wine (230ml) I thought was extortionate! Unfortunately only realised what we had paid after we left otherwise I would have queried it. Happy to pay for good food, but the price of drinks have completely put us off returning

Food was great. Had an amazing atmosphere and a very warming team. Fin and Teleri gave great service. Couldn't fault my experience!

Excellent vegetarian and meat options. Excellent service. I had the veg ghormet sabzi (halloumi stew) and a fig daiquiri - they complemented each other perfectly. Also, the baklava was warm and delicious.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. The restaurant is full of atmosphere and is comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. even though I was dining alone. They took a real interest. I very much enjoyed my mealbut perhaps would have like slightly stronger flavours. The portions were very generous but I could not leave anything!

The food was delicious. There was nothing that did not taste amazing. The service was speedy and polite. The starters did not come with anything to dip so they were difficult to eat. Maybe some carrot sticks for my gluten free vegetarian fellow diner?

Nice atmosphere and service. We both had a stew dish, a small pot of stew with alot of rice. Wouldn't go back as so expensive !

Food is delicious, amazing kebab and grilled meats. Really warm front of house and good service - would highly recommend!

I have bern in this country for more than 22 years i didn't eat Persian kabab this delicious. In any Persian Resturant. It was amazing food and environment and resturant itself was very nice .
