We had an incredible dining experience at Awadh! The food was absolutely amazing and truly one of the best I've had in London. It was a genuine taste of Desi cuisine without any unnecessary customization like you find at other places. Every single dish was freshly cooked and bursting with authentic flavors. The service was outstanding; the staff were extremely professional and respectful, ensuring that every aspect of our visit was perfect. They genuinely care about providing the best customer experience possible. Highly recommend Awadh for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience!

It was amazing experience- service was very excellent very friendly, attentive staff, specially want to mention sandesh and shegal for good suggestions to choose dishes, accommodating customise dishes as per our request. Service was very quick, all dishes were very tasty. We felt like perfect for 🇮🇳 taste buds and others. Plenty of seating area for now, however once getting more crowded they may require bigger space. Roadside parking available in the evening, it could be 5 minutes walk to find a free space. Ambience was good, comfortable 🛋️ . Price is at per other good restaurant. All the best to see them growing bigger with more choices of dishes. It’s recommended to try out.

I don't usually leave reviews, but the incredible customer service from Sandesh and Shegal made it impossible not to. Their warmth and hospitality made our visit truly memorable. They treated my group of friends with such care and kindness. While good food can be found in many places, exceptional service like this is rare. We loved dining at this wonderful little restaurant with brilliant service. Thank you and best wishes!

Super oily food, not authentic in any way

Food was just awesome, with some unusual dishes. Service was great, staff really know the menu inside out. Ambience is lovely! Definitely on our list to go to again.

This is the 4th or 5th time I've come to this restaurant and we've always had excellent hospitality from Sandesh. My husband loves the food here and this time we had the pleasure of being served by Shegal who went above and beyond to accommodate our questions and tastes. A big thank you to both of them and we'll definitely be returning to and recommending Awadh.

I spontaneously visited this restaurant yesterday with my friend and we are so glad we did! Even though it was late we were greeted with the warmest welcome! The waiters were very friendly and gave us a lovely service. The decor is beautiful and the food was really delicious. The mix grill starter was so tasty and full of flavour and was definitely my favourite dish. I can't wait to visit again to try other dishes on the menu. Thanks for a great evening! I would recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

As soon we walked in at 5:25pm for our 5:30pm reservation, we were told we have to leave by 7pm, we weren’t even seated. I mean Michelin starred restaurants provide more time than this standard high street one. It was shocking, especially given all other restaurants alongside them provide a minimum of two hours. I think place only cares about getting you out quickly to ensure they manage more covers throughout the night, they care zero about their customers. Food mediocre, some dishes heavily spiced with cardamom. The male waiter was fantastic, though the two females were appalling. Plates were being cleared whilst others were still eating, this is a huge faux pas in the hospitality industry, never start clearing plates until all guests have finished. Will not be visiting again, would much rather go to Chin Chin a few doors down, or another one on the high street that treat their customers well and with respect.

20% off after 9 pm, add was out. But there is no discount on the bill, I asked the lady about a discount but she said we do not give a discount.

I’ve been to Awadh a few times and love everything about it, the food, service and ambiance is amazing. It was my aunt’s 50th anniversary so we invited close family and friends, they all enjoyed the food. Sanjay was very helpful, he also suggested delicious dishes for the dinner party. The portions were generous. Sanjay and his team were excellent! I would definitely recommend my friends to visit this restaurant and I can’t wait to go back.

Food is good here, little different taste compared to other indian restaurants. We liked main course more compared to starters. They have good collection of breads. Baigan and Mirchi salan was the best one among all.

Traditional North Indian food from this Lucknow food style restaurant. Had visited a month ago and been meaning To write this for some time now. We found the restaurant to be moderately spacious in the high street of Pinner. Harrow can boast of a range of Indian eateries and many me too variants of the other. Awadh can carve a space for itself in the traditional Lucknow food style that is a niche space of its own. I found the food quite close to what would have been my expectation had I walked through Lucknow and sampled the local delicacies. The decor inside gives that classic feeling complementing the style that they are holding on to. Prices are moderate and can be seen as a good deal when compared to the similar styled restaurants in central London. I would go back again for the Roomali roti, nan and Gilouti Kebab and would like to sample other variants on offer too.

Dinner was absolutely lovely! The staff was amazing and so attentive. Would definitely recommend! The food was great, tasteful and vibrant!

Service was by personal attendence of Lady Manager who was very pleasant and proffesional. Food was excellent and ambience was very friendly and pleasant. Throughly enjoyed Father's day dinner. Highly recommend to family and friendly. Owners were around to look after clients.

Had dinner - twice on 31/5/24 and 7/6/24 in this relatively new restaurant in Pinner (previously occupied by Cafe Rouge). Good location, relatively easy to find parking (free after 6.30pm). Nice spacious restaurant with excellent friendly staff. Our male server on both occasion happened to be the same and was very friendly. Other staff that served us were efficient and polite. Sanjay the manager was also very friendly and very happy to chat. The food we ordered on our first visit (2 of us) was Tomato Shorba (soup) was one of the best I have tried in this country. For the main course we had Black Daal, Paneer dish and Vegetable Biryani. The black daal was exceptionally good and tasty. Paneer was good. Biryani was ok but perfectly good enough to enjoy. The lachha paratha I had was well made but not burnt. On our second visit (4 of us) had gone with a singer friend of mine who knew the manager - so the service and food was even better. Plus we had the advantage that my friend had been before and suggested some other dishes which we thoroughly enjoyed - the Gobi Alu vegetable was really nice. The dessert on our second visit was Kulfi Falooda - yumm. The Gajar Halva sugar free was not at all edible and the server acknowledged the fact that maybe the chef has not mastered it. It was removed from our bill without us even requesting it. Overall a great experience and I am so happy finally there is an Indian Restaurant in this area which is reasonably priced and the food is of good quality and tasty.

Lovely new place. Foods great, but be sure to ask for mild as some dishes are fairly spicy. The manager( Sandish) is very polite and will go out of his way to make sure you enjoy the food. Worth a try and definitely recommend trying the seekh kebabs and lamb korma gosh. Mouth watering.😋

horrid experience. i came here with my family the starters were horrible. paneer tasted like they microwaved it same with the chicken it tasted so bland and plain and had absolutely no flavour if i could do 0 stars i would we spent £130 and i didnt enjoy any of it wont be coming back.

We celebrated my brothers 70th Birthday today. The staff were very accommodating to a group of 24. The food was really very nice. We had all vegetarian. The restaurant has beautiful decor and comfortable seats. The staff were friendly and attentive. Service with a smile. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Our waiter was lovely and friendly and attentive, really well done to him. Didn’t catch his name but he told us he was from Nepal. The starters were all delicious and really fresh, and the khameeri roti was something we had never tried before - and so glad we did try it. Wonderful flavour palette with some very unusual flavours that we had never tried before. Not the typical North Indian food you find in most UK restaurants. Only thing I would say is that the vegetarian food was better than the meat which was all very tough and overcooked which was a shame. And finally, it was nice and gentle ambience at the start, however I think with no soft furnishings in the restaurant to absorb the noise, it got so loud that we couldn’t even have a conversation on the table without shouting. And I think the restaurant was slightly overpacked for the space there is available inside. All in all, the food is definitely worth trying if you want something regional and all of the food was fresh and flavourful - complements to the chef and team! And service was really nice. Went on a Sunday evening.Restaurant was fairly busy. We're greeted by the lady who could have been slightly friendlier. But when Sandesh took over,he made the experience a lot more hospitable and comfortable. The food and portions were amazing and as Sandesh explained later-its all down to fresh ingredients. Would definitely recommend for an upmarket experience.

By far the best Indian restaurant in Harrow. Great food, amazing service and variety of dishes to choose from. Located on Pinner high street, it’s very easily accessible from anywhere in Harrow. There’s a street side car park on high street but there’s no space, a public car park is just a stones throw. As far as food is concerned, one must try their tandoori paneer starter and kurkuri Bhindi. They also serve some Indian drinks like lassi by jug. Biryanis are amazing as well. Staff is courteous and will try to accommodate your requests. Gajar Halwa was delicious.

Services are not good. Staff is vey rude. They don’t have manners to talk with customers.

Great grilled food although most dishes were very spicy. Excellent service, our table were well looked after. Good cocktails and great to find a place that serves rumali roti! Music very loud - we couldn't hear each other speak but would return on an evening when there isn't live music.

MUST TRY We went there yesterday and had mushrooms as well as lamb gulati kebab - something that would just melt in your mouth, leaving those delicious flavours and textures behind. At live chaat corner, we had yummy gol gappa. Also, kurkuri bhindi and aalo tikki were amazing. With a variety of snacks, we were so full that we did not want to eat the main course. But guess what, we ended up having one just because of the awesome collection of wholewheat breads they have. And then kulfi falooda, yum yum yum...😋

My parents and I came yesterday and had a lovely experience. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and decor. We really enjoyed the tadka dal and paneer butter masala, the dishes were delicious! We were served by Sandesh who was so attentive to our needs and had great conversation and recommendations. Thank you so much for a lovely dinner and evening :)

The best Indian food I enjoyed in UK

We had a great time, the Awadh staff were knowledgeable, especially Sanjay and Ritul and very accommodation for a group of c. 25 people. The food was tasteful and they had a great selection of drinks. The only drawback I would mention is the portion sizes are smaller than expected for the price but other than that, everything was great, especially the Lamb Nihari, which was aromatic and fell off the bone, as it should.

Sanjay and Ritul are awesome at their work. Mutton Galauti Kebabs are must try. All currys are amazing:)

You won’t find the Paneer Tikka and Murgh Khatta Pyazi in the whole UK get here at Awadh. Great host Sanjay and Ritul!

Nice place, i feel like the mains are way better than the starters. The manager sold us a bottle of grey goose offered a 25% discount but would not mention the price at the start after asking serveral times. When the bill came and we tried to question his price he tried to educate us on the fact that a 70 Cl bottle has 32 shots and that is how they calculate it which was the down side of the evening and the fact he would not let us have a discussion and kept talking over everything we said was more frustrating, the live band was loud which made it even more frustrating when trying to talk to him. None the less after discussing it with the manager he did reduce the price and he was happy to do so. The Dall makhni was amazing and the nali nihari was amazing from all the mains, we got palak paneer and murgh khaata pyazi. from all the starters the papdi chat was the best, then the kurkuri bhindi. we got a galouti kebab, chops, murgh achari tika and paneer tikka ( which was very different and not sure i would get it again ) The staff who were serving us were actually very very good, attentive and on the ball. The live music was nice and good for people to go to if they are into some live Bollywood old school music. it can get a bit loud so i would suggest you check with the restaurant when the performance is depending on your preference.

One of the best biryani we had ! The food was so soooooo delicious !!!!! Ingridents were fresh the spices perfect too .... The ambience so superb well light and just so warm and welcoming ❤. The staff is super cordial and cheerful. A perfect place for celebrations or just winding the day with delicious food . Definitely visiting again to try the different menu options.

Great place for north Indian food. The chaat, malai kofta and dal makhni were delicious. We went on a Wednesday and thoroughly enjoyed the live Bollywood music performance. Staff is warm and welcoming and ensure you are well taken care of. Definitely recommend.

We had a ladies' kitty party at the Awadh, and our dining experience at the restaurant was great. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere and staff was welcoming. I would definitely recommend it to all 😊.

Just wanted to recommend Awadh Restaurant on the High Street in Pinner. Absolutely fantastic service from Sandhesh and his team. Haven’t seen true hospitality like this for a long time so this was fantastic to experience. The food was delicious too; something different to what we are used to but had masses of flavour. We enjoyed Khurkhuri Bhindi, Paneer Tikka, Tandoori Potatoes, Galouti Kebabs (divine…literally melted in your mouth), plus Daal Makahai, Aloo Gobi and Paneer Butter Masala. It was relatively quiet when we visited (Sunday 6pm) but they had 6 tables (a couple of large bookings) in after 7pm and the restaurant was heaving when we left at 8pm, but this didn’t impact on the service. Definitely worth checking out.

Superb food, amazing service and staff

Came here for a 30th birthday dinner and was not disappointed, the staff were wonderful and the food is fantastic! Will definitely visit again.

We were given takeaway containers to pack our food ourselves, while it was packed for another table. When we paid cash, even before going back to check if there was change, we were told they don't have any change. These were the 2 things we thought were a bit awkward. For the later, I could give them benefit of doubt, but again, I would think that they couldn't have had a completely empty cashier. Coming to the food, yes it's different and we could taste the various flavours. The lamb medallions is something completely different. And so was the carrot chutney. There were dry fruit in the kofta so that's a good sign. I'd come back for the food and try other dishes. The restaurant is pleasant and the colour palate appealing. Service was good too. So other than the slightly odd things that we experienced, it's a good Indian restaurant, not overly priced.

Overall a very good experience. Service is pleasant and responsive, and the ambience is very good. Food is overall tasty and quite authentic Vs a number of other "Indian" restaurants, and well priced food and drinks. Amongst starters, I would recommend the Gulaothi kabab and Tandoori Fish, both had a great balance of meat and spices.... though the Lamb chops were a big miss as they weren't cooked in the Awadhi style. All other dishes were good too, and Malai Kofta exceeded expectations. But I must mention the dessert Shahi Tukda had soggy bread when it is supposed to be crisp (though not crunchy) and it appeared to have been a reheated or previously made version. However, I would love to go there again, as it is one of the better options in this neighbourhood.

The food & ambiance was good. We tried few dishes like- Chicken Achari, Soya chap (a weekend special recommended by the owner and it was great), roomali roti. All items were amazing. Even the restaurant owners and their staff were really nice and warm. Highly recommend !!

The food was not so good taste, only the starters I like coming to mains is not highly recommended and coming to drinks masala chas please don't try that better go with nimbu soda. The restaurant was good with neat and cleaned but the food was not sooo delicious. And parking is very difficult to find.

My two dinner experiences here have been disappointing. Aside from some teething issues (which their waiters were very kind and professional with). The chicken dishes I had were more oily and were lacking spice, even though I asked for them spicy (the chicken pieces also were burned, but the waiter replaced the dish without hesitation when I pointed it out) The chaats we had as starters tasted better, but not as good as starters in restaurants in the surrounding Harrow/etc area. It would be nice to have a good Indian restaurant centrally in Pinner, so hopefully Awadh can improve so you don't have to travel to the surrounding areas for the better offerings. Atmosphere, service, and location are good - the food just didn't hit the mark (yet!).

One the best foods I had after a long time. Try their biryani and I bet it's world's best. Actually everything was prepared with flavors and overall was a great experience.

Food, service and atmosphere everything was excellent. We'd have liked to be seated at our table a little longer, at least while we were having our food and drinks. Didn't like that we were asked to change tables to accommodate a group that came towards the end.

At Awadh, the service is excellent, and the staff make sure you're well taken care of. While the Tandoori Paneer wasn't a hit at our table, we loved everything else. The Pani Puri, Lamb Galoti Kebab, Missi Roti, Baingan Salan, and Murgh Zafrani Biryani were all delicious. Don't miss out on their refreshing drinks like Masala Chaas, Nimbu Soda Shikanji. The ambiance is lovely too, mixing old charm with a modern touch and cozy lighting. I definitely recommend giving Awadh a try!

From the start we didn't have a great experience and then this was echoed in the food ordered. When the waiter, who looked either to be the manager or owner came to take out order, he said you need to order now because at 2.30pm we close the kitchen and then you go out at 3pm and he made the gesture of sweeping us out the door! So we ordered and the food and we wanted to order fish but the only fish they had was fried which seemed really strange considering there were many fish dishes and none of them were available. Then it took so long for the starters to come that's we thought they had forgotten. We ordered the pani puri that came with 6 Puris, only filled with some chick peas and can only be described as very sad looking, the mushroom starter had too much cardamom, for mains we had the kofta curry which was so hard that when we tried to cut it in half, it flew off the plate! Only the sauce and the naan were good. We ordered the shashi toast and that was not good and could do with some refining. We left at 3pm yet there were still many people still sitting and no one being told to leave. Having spent over a hundred pounds, I will be very surprised if this restaurant lasts a year as many previous ones have tried in the same location and failed.

Amazing authentic indian food. This is coming from Indian person who has lived half of his life in India. Food which says its spicy is actually spicy and not mild like other restaurants! Discovered this amazing restaurant recently and have been there twice to celebrate occasions with family. Great food that is different from the regular menus you see at Indian restaurants. Loved every dish we ordered. Staff were friendly and, courteous too. We still have a few dishes yet to try here so we will go again soon.

This is definitely my favourite Indian restaurant.. tastes of every item on the menu are truly delicious. If you want to try a restaurant where the food is as tasty as you would expect from the top Indian restaurants in India like Taj.. Oberoi then you must try it. I haven’t tasted anything as good as this in the UK and so many of the dishes reminded me of my mum’s cooking. The service is also top notch and we had the delight of the owner so passionately telling us secrets of how everything is made naturally from scratch without the use of artificial additives. The owner and staff are so welcoming and really make you feel special. It’s a place where you really can’t fault any item starter, main, dessert or drinks!! They even have live music nights..The atmosphere and ambience along with the food makes it an unforgettable evening and we are definitely going back again and again!! Well Done!

My friends & I decided to pay a visit to the restaurant after listening to its adverts on the radio. Before booking also checked out its reviews. All we can say from start to finish the food, service , ambiance was/is top notch. Sanjay took great care of us. Thank you. Between 6 of us we had 12 dishes band all were delicious. Rasmalai Tiramisu & Kulfi Falooda were divine. Will be coming back soon.

Earlier in August 2023: Excellent pulao, paneer curries and starters, especially the tandoori broccoli and the vegetable soup. The decor of the restaurant is lovely and so is the silver on the table. Loved the food, loved the ambience and will definitely come back again!

Everything was very good. Staff very polite. Food very good. Except Bill came to the table without asking for it. Seemed to be in a hurry to see us gone.

One of the few Indian cuisine restaurant in pinner. Overall 3 🌟 🌟 🌟 stars. You can say avrg or a bit above the avrg (you won't come back hungry kind of). Ambiance is nice which gives you kind of posh resto feel. But not mind blowing. Service. they are still learning. Manager is too much haphazard which will give you very uncozy feel. And I saw him being very rude to uber driver. No courtesy at all. Uber drivers aren't human!! Can't they wait or stand inside the restaurant!? One must not behave like that. & don't forget they are also giving you business. After such behaviour you give diners complimentary Gajar Halwa doesn't count my dear. Main part now Food. Tasty dishes and very different versatile menu compare to other standard Indian restaurants around the area. Dahi khasta chat wasn't too bad ✅ Panner tikka was alright. ✅ Daal Tadka was good too ✅ Naan bread ✅ Malai seek kababs were OK but very different taste, it was more winter dish (full of Indian spices) nutmeg, cardamom, garam masala etc.. They should pull it out of the menu. Please keep in mind. I'm vegetarian so don't know about Non-veg dishes. Nimbu soda shikanji was a big flop. Big no. It was strong Jaljeera water. (like kayam churan level) That's it. Nothing else. Price. Higher than hatch end indian restaurants. So it turns out not that worthy to me. Overall fair experience. Average. Try it and review it.
