August Moon in High Peak

August moon black bean sauce with noodles 2/5 watery sauce, salt and pepper chips 4/5 a good dish, beef curry with rice 3/5 chewy beef. Why water sauces down? Sorry but expected a bit better than this! Only bonus is it’s cheap

Good food and fast service, from the outside the place looks run down but you shouldn't be put off the food is great.

Its the best Chinese in Derbyshire trust me its only a small menu but the food is excellent and Pete and Tony are very friendly don't let the look of the takeaway fool you the food is spot on .(chicken curry no onions 😋 )

Fish a wee bit rubbish and soggy chips. Very suprised! It'd usually nice.

Cash only. Sweet and sour king balls - lots of dough, not much prawn. No seating inside, feels a little unwelcoming but the chap who served seemed friendly. Not really much parking. Average prices.

I've had August Moon takeaways since the 80's Nothing else compares.. The food is delicious. I would rather travel the 9 miles from my house now than get a poorer quality Chinese takeaway locally
