A lovely Farm shop, selling lots of little gifts along with the yummiest of food. Their Beef and Venison Pies are scrumptious, as was the Macaroni Cheese pie. There is also a Restaurant/Tea Room, serving delicious local food and all so farm fresh. For children, there is a play area and a some cute farm animals to keep them entertained. A must visit if you are in the area

We popped in to grab some goodies out the farm shop as we had heard good things. We were not disappointed, they have such a great selection of goodies to choose from, like a fresh butcher counter, fuit, veg, sweet treats, etc. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the cafe as it was extended busy but we will definitely be returning!

Visited mid week for an afternoon tea. Sandwiches were so so but the scones and jam were served with masses of artificial cream. We also only had two scones between three guests. Even a teapot for three was served with only two teabags resulting in a weak brew. The fake cream reappeared with a small fruit meringue, very insipid. Surely a farm shop is a chance to showcase local and fresh ingredients? Not impressed.

My friend took me here for a late lunch; it was very enjoyable and pleaantly served. I had granary bread, tomato soup, and nicely garnished; we enjoyed cake and coffe; also enjoyed some take away goodies from the shop. Very happy to come back!,

Great butcher and farm shop but poor service manners in the tearoom. No please no thank you from waitresses, quite an attitude which is a shame as the food was good. Slammed plates on table, slapped table to get pensioners attention. A lot of empty handed journeys back and forth to the counter. Seriously lacking hospitality training and basic manners.

I am a South African that has been in Scotland 24 years so ever so often you want something that reminds you of home. This butcher makes the best boerewors and he is just so friendly. I phoned yesterday and 6kg was ready this afternoon. I will no longer go anywhere else for my boerewors. You have a customer for life.

A hidden gem of a cafe with great farm shop. We popped in for lunch on a wet day but the view from the restaurant was still amazing. Service was prompt and friendly and food excellent. A very good choice for all. and daily specials available. Value good really and we were going to go back but didn't get a chance. The shop has lots of local produce including pies and yet we failed to revisit to try them! Nuts... Highly recommend this to anyone.

We phoned before going and asked if we needed to make a reservation and were told no need to reserve a table so we turned up and the place was very busy, we required a table for three and advised it would be approximately 15/20 minutes before one was ready and if we wanted we could browse the shop and a member of staff would come and get us when a table became available, this we did and I actually ended up spending £36 in the butchery when I happened to have another look in the cafe and saw a vacant table, by the time I alerted my partner and her elderly mother that we were about to be seated the waitress gave the table to two people who had jus turned up, as you can imagine I wasn't very happy at all, especially as I'd spent money in the shop that I might not have otherwise spent, we left to go elsewhere.

Another brilliant steak night. As always huge farmhouse portions of delicious food. I had the tomato and basil soup to start followed by the chicken (I know it’s steak night but I’m addicted to the sauce on the chicken!). Husband had the chicken tempura followed by a huge, perfectly cooked T-bone steak. No room for any desserts after that unfortunately but as this is our local farm shop we can always walk up at any time for some delicious home baked cake. Highly recommend the steak night, the shop and the cafe! As for the reviews complaining about the potholes (and no mention of the food or service for some reason!) we walk and drive here on a weekly basis and have done for years with no adverse reactions to either our ankles or our car!

Food nice enough, however service was very slow, very poor and inattentive. Waitresses seemed to be inexperienced.————————————————————

Visited for a late lunch on a Sunday. Had milkshakes which were good and freshly made. Also had a margherita pizza. Served with shrivelled basil despite asking for none. Pizza was a good size but the tomato base was loaded with puree. Combined with the cheese, the pizza was very salty and not too pleasant. Not ideal when it's £13.50. Service OK and there is new play equipment out the front.

Great lunch, as always great service, great food and reasonable prices. Both my wife and I enjoyed our meals. My Goats cheese salad was absolutely delicious, my wife also thoroughly enjoyed her steak panini.

Great new find for lunch today. Very tasty chicken salad and juicy burger. So impressed we booked for the steak night at the end of the month. Couldn’t leave without a purchase at the butcher counter.

Was looking forwards to nice lunch and catch up with friend and daughter. What a disaster the road down to farm shop is a disgrace. Dangerous and that's driving down to it never mind walking. Unsuitable for any car to use .my car has had to get front tyre fixed due to deep pot hole.So Be ware.a definite No Go.👎👎😡

Do not visit this Farm shop/cafe unless you have a 4x4 car. The road is in such a bad state of repair. I have never seen anything like it in over 40 years of driving! We counted over 30 large potholes.

Breakfast is superb. Every single ingredient on the plate is of top quality and presently beautifully. Staff are lovely and the view from the tearoom is rural at its best

We were visiting from Canada and went here for brunch with family. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The shop is full of unique buys and great local food.

We have visited this cafe a few times recently as its quite good. The food is reasonably priced and worth the money. They stop selling hot food about 3.30, so you do need to get there quite early as it's quite popular. They have recently changed the name of the cafe to - cafe at the park and we don't particularly like it but other than that it's good.

Wonderful experience! Efficient, friendly staff. Enjoyed a relaxing cappuccino, and a delicious empire biscuit. The restaurant/café is small but very comfortable, safe and clean. Looking forward to going back for a meal.

Don't listen to your requirements and don't know what 'space for milk' means. Sigh

Ordered a south Indian chilli chicken & chicken madras....unfortunately both looked the same & not much different! Tasted good but no difference.
