Atmosphere in Salford

£2 extra for crispy onion on my chips are u having a giggle,is this ancoats or Salford

I have been here multiple times and have spent a lot of money here as I find the food here is lovely and I have had many good experiences. However today I have been in for a meal with my friend and go to the door to meet my boyfriend. I go to lead him to where he was sat, and a woman who looks to be the manager loudly shouts "what is that why is she leading him around like a dog". Am I being unreasonable for being upset and debating not going again? I feel humiliated and I have never been treated like this in any of my hospitality jobs and certainly never as a guest? I will not be coming here again, despite the rest of the staff being absolutely lovely, a mention to Harry as he made an adjustment to one of the cocktails for my taste and it was absolutely lovely thank you.

Great place for a post-lecture wind down

So pleased I've discovered the atmosphere bar. Located within the university house this is the university's main SU bar but also well used by Peel Park visitors. The bar is located on the first floor of the building and is easily missed if you don't know it's there. Once inside there are three distinct and different parts of the bar. Firstly the main bar and largest space is like a sports bar with plenty of screens to watch live sporting events. Secondly, there is a games bar with pool tables and retro arcade games and darts. Thirdly there is a mezzanine floor which carries a whole different decor and vibe. Much more intermate and lounge like you can easily find your own space to work or have a private drink. I didn't sample the food but it appeared to be very good value for money. The beer selection was excellent and very well priced. £3.80 for a pint of Guinness and £3.70 for a pint of Madri. The Guinness was excellent too. When I'm next in Peel Park I'll certainly pay a visit to Atmosphere.

Loved this place! It's a university bar, most frequented by UoS students, but open to the broader community as well. Beside the youthful atmosphere, not so young and old people can fit there as well. Prices are below the average and there is a diverse selection of beers and food. And I'm not afraid to say that their Guinness might even surpass the renowned mulligans.

Over all was good however there was a ginger girl that let them down with the rude and horrible customer service and blatant rude tone and attitude.

Really a good atmosphere and experience

Great place. Wouldn’t be out of place in Manchester City centre for the feel and it’s stylishness. Great value and very spacious.

The atmosphere is great, drink prices are incredible, best you'll find anywhere. Spend a lot of time in this place! Only down side is the food, although still good, it's not quite as good as it used to be. Still five star though!

Got to be one of the nicest places in all of Salford! The setting is quite nice and modern, staff’s friendly and polite. Good food and drinks, pool tables, screens, fun events and nights out. Very calm in the morning, so it’s also a great place to get some uni work done. Free car parking (6 PM - 9 AM) right next to it is a great plus. I’d say the only con is it is a bit expensive for an SU bar / cafe. Still worthy of the 5 stars for me though.

Lovely place, very calm in the mornings, ideal for studying. I would recommend this place for group gatherings too. It's location is perfect for students, because it is near Salford University!

Can't go wrong with the SU. All profits go back into the students Union too as it's a registered charity

Great place to eat, drink, get a bit of work done, get away from working, play some pool, watch some sport, enjoy the vibe. No fuss, good service.

Not worth going in covid times. Queuing 2 hours for the privelege of paying 2.20 for lukewarm bottled budweiser.

Used to be a really nice place but has gone downhill recently. Some staff are rude and it takes a long time to be served. Also food is definitely not worth the money and could get nicer at a takeaway. There have also been some safety concerns recently from alot of us uni students over some of the staff. Overall wouldn't bother, better to go to the pint pot over the river.

Bar & Restaurant inside the University of Salford. Many events are organised during welcome week and thorughout the year.

The pizza was good but the coke was expensive £ 2 man for one glass I could've bought 12 cans for £ 3.5 in tesco.

A go-to at the University House/ Student Union. Great events, great food, Awesome Loyalty system, and perfect for the end of day pint. Just don't go there everyday, you'll end up with no money quick

Atmosphere Kitchen & Bar is a cosy bar with the tastiest food! Situated in the heart of Salford University, this bar offers a great variety of food & drink & a "full festive Christmas Menu" is available throughout December. Definitely worth a try! This lovely bar offers a trendy, comfortable interior with beautiful lighting throughout....There are various drinks offers continually, with a great choice to choose from! All prices are reasonable & Atmosphere is open to Students & members of the public. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Made a journey to go here specifically to be told their opening hours are different to those listed on their GMB listing. Disappointing for 2019.

Kind of expensive for a student bar to be honest, really noisy cause of student, slip hazards didn't seem to be being cleaned up and it wasnt even crazy busy and no glasses collected.

The Atmosphere is an accommodating place which has a nice bar, the food is good, and there are areas of the bar which implicitly suit customers (I.E sports fans, introverts and general chilled place). There are memebrs of sports societies on Wednesdays so it can be loud, so if you prefer a quiet drink or meal, it's best not to go on this day. Overall I would reccomend this place. It's very nice

Asked for a caramel iced latte. There was no caramel in it. The barista took agesssssssss and also I was in the queue at 11:20 the breakfast finishes at 11:30 and by the time I was served it was 11:35 so they wouldn't let me get breakfast. Poor effort really

Kitchen closes at 5 and it's just pizzas from then on. Barman reaction was it's it pub not a restaurant. What kind of pub stops serving at 5? Should be named atmosphere bar and part time kitchen Drinks prices are good.

Worse food place to visit. Bought burger and they claim it comes with Fries and Chips. Was shocked it only came with a single leaf of cabbage. Avoid at all cost unless you are about to die of hunger.

Wow. SU's are well posh these days. Not a sticky floor or blue VK in sight.

Accompanied my brother's band while they played a set. The atmosphere was comfortable and the staff were friendly. All in all a very nice venue!

Pricey considering it's the S.U. And they stop serving chips at tea time.....What's that all about?

The limited menu in the evening is a bit rubbish, but Bar was always good. Decent prices for drinks.

Good pub, good stuff, more than 15 beers to choose from.

After attending for a meal tonight, I now have the runs and have to say the food was attrocious. Last year I would attend weekly and enjoyed the food but the quality has seriously gone down hill. If you don't inted to spend your evening on the toilet I highly recommend not eating here. Also what happened to the knives and forks? why are they now plastic?!

Great place i can't believe it's not reviewed. Cafe is a good place to relax and to study sometimes. Friendly staff.
