great fish n chips, only thing I would say is you need to take the eyes out of your potatos before you chip them

Sadly not as good as used to be.

Bit of a mish mash in knowing who's waiting to be served as to who is waiting for their order. Small waiting area causes this confusion. They do a lot of deliveries judging by the lists hanging up. Delivery drivers park on the pavement next to the pelican crossing, no shame at all! Food always consistently good!

It could be just a coincidence that the delivery guy was seen eating in his car just after picking up a delivery. I certainly won't be having a delivery from here.

Ordered in error from here on uber eats. Thought I was ordering from a fish and chip shop in Wellingborough. However this food was bloody amazing and will defo order again!!! Tipped the delivery driver as felt bad he had come all the way from Kettering to deliver to me in Wellingborough. Amazing food and great delivery service keep up the good work guys 👍👍

Driver the selected doesn't work, so he couldn't phone people. so he sat around in his car not asking for people waiting outside about orders. I waited 15 mins outside then he approached saying my phone does not work,

Hi very expensive and had 4 large cod all where very disappointing more batter than cod all 4 where broken up by the time I got home chips where ok.

Arrived on time and as ordered, Just Eat tracking still not working properly though.

Not up to the usual standard. Rather soggy and Luke warm

I was a bit disappointed, it was very expensive for the offerings although the food was cooked well. No chips with burger even though I asked for chips & was supposed to be on a bed of salad, onion rings are packet things and expensive for what they are & what you get. Cheese & Croquet very small, and again £2.50 for how big it is, not great.

Got my order wrong Got home and one thing missing Got to find a new Chipp that sells haggis I tried phone around 6 time no answer

Food is good, but delivery times nowhere near the expected time slots advertised. Maybe not the fault of the restaurant, but don't advertise it as 15-25 mins,the reality is over an hour (3 times late,once I had to cancel as going out, no reimbursent)

I was a regular customer until tonight, extra large cod was absolutely disgusting! Nearly £10 for a pitiful piece of fish. Never again will I ever order from this place. To the management, you should be ashamed!

Most of the food tastes lovely but ordered a 1.25ltr bottle of Yazoo chocolate milkshake for £3.50 but only received a 400ml bottle. Rest of food nice, but milkshake listing need updating if that's what is actually what is being sold.

Came here for chips at lunchtime, was impressed, lovely fresh chips, crispy and tasty. Now my new fave in Kettering!

Very disappointed. Me and my dad always come here for our fish and chips, I believe the best in Kettering. Unfortunately tonight I have lost trust here. Waited over a hour for our delivery even though it’s 10 minutes away. The worst part is when it arrived my scampi was freezing cold and the chips were cold. I have tried ringing the store about 5 times and no answer just straight to voicemail, what a shame especially when money is tight for most people at the moment.

i have had several fish and chips from here but resonantly the fish is not up to the standards it was when i first started ordering from here,it was thick and juicy but now its flat and not so juicy , will have to rethink before ordering again

The food was cold and the chips were inedible, all hard little bits and not nice at all.

Disappointed today, as the food was cold, the fish was tough as if it had been cooked a while ago and left in the warmer. The fish was also colder on the inside than the outer. Normally, we enjoy the food, and it's freshly cooked, but definitely not the case today

nothing against the restaurant but justeat are not doing anything. the delivery driver was delivering fish and chips to my elderly father (88 years of age) that I ordered for him. the driver caught on video door bell was repeatedly trying to enter his property and didn't knock or ring the bell. when mynfather opened the door he started to speak to the driver who ignored him and thrust the food bag at him. just eat have gone silent on the matter. the businesses are going to suffer because of them

Food is good as always but it’s disappointing that the ‘chicken dippers’ don’t actually come with any dips. So maybe worth adding it to those food options as part of the deal like others. But apart from that the food is always first class

3rd time have had poor experience over past couple of months. This fish shops standards have lowered. Staff not getting orders correct, costs increased and not reflecting quality and definitely smaller portion sizes.. sorry but will be finding a new fish and chip shop.

We have just had our first meal from here, haddock and chips - the chips were cooked beautfully, crispy outside and soft in the middle, and the fish was lovely. It was a home delivery and sometimes this can made this meal soggy, but it was just right. Will definitely order again though will probably collect next time as delivery cost a bit steep.

My only complaint is the chips although very tasty but when unwrapping them they are all mushy and stuck together , like squashed really terrible. This has happened a number of times chips should be dry not so soft they stick together into a lump of mushy potato .

Food was great! Top marks on the fish and chips. Fish was the largest we've had from a chip shop, but the amount of the chips was a bit lacking for a large portion compeared to other places

I ordered to the wrong address and the driver went the extra mile and brought it to me.

Very very busy but the cod was thin not much flavour. Highly priced but most places are now. I think if they sourced a better cod or even cut it thicker it would make a difference the batter was good not sickly but as I said above the cod was tasteless.

Since I used this place last they have changed their menu to give options when ordering certain things, which is a good idea, so I ordered a kebab WRAP, however when the order arrived they had ignored their own options system and sent me a kebab in pitta bread, there is no point giving people options to then ignore them. If it hadn't have been for that it would have been a better review and higher rating.

Food was good. Disapointed they would not sell batter bits. I thought the customer was always right. Took a while to be served although there wasn't a big queue. Disabled access. Limited parking.

Ordered a Haddock which was costly at nearly £12 and yet was the same size as a regular Cod or Haddock at pretty much any other chippy ... Same for the Large Chips we ordered; the portion size was the same as a Regular portion elsewhere ... While the Breaded Mushrooms were nice, they were pricey at £4.50. Food was decent but not spectacular, which made the high prices even more disappointing. Will stick with Werringtons and Avondale in Kettering; they're better fish 'n' chip stores and cheaper.

The food was excellent and hot. I ordered Haddock - the fish was cooked skin on which is just the way I like and it was not over cooked and was flaky. The chips were hot and cooked well. Absolutely no complaints

mango loco monster drink was missing and so was the cheese and chips. the burger was very burnt and there wasn’t many chips underneath the kebab meat

Unfortunately you need to cook your chips a little longer. Mine were pretty undercooked. Second time this has happened. Disappointed.

My husband had fish that had a fair few bones in it and I had a cheese and onion pastie which was either from the day before or even older. Could not cut around the edge it was that hard! Shame, used to be the best chippie around

Seems to be a genuine family run type business. I was reassured when I ordered haddock that it's not ready until it's ready and the end product is fresh fish fried just right, crispy but not oily. Good job Alantis!!

Had large and regular cod both cooked lovely, tasty fish and crispy batter also enjoyed chips.

I ordered 2x large portions but there is a big difference in the size of the fish. I think they put one large and one medium.

Order placed online ,the delivery driver was so polite and on time,food was great as always .

Once againh you have forgotton to add the salad to my kebab, this is the second time this month, if you cant fufill the orders that people pay for you will drive them away,

Food is perfect as always but not to keen in the chicken used for thr kebab. It is TOO red and looks like it been dipped in paint to get the colour. But apart from that the lamb meat, chips, salad, sauces were all perfect and the battered black pudding is to die for! I could live off that stuff

I don't eat takeaway foods but I do like nice fish & chips on occasion and I wasn't disappointed at all. I arrived and it was a little busy. I was acknowledged and informed there would be a little wait whilst they finished some orders. It was fine. My fish was beautifully soft on the inside with a nice perfectly crisp batter and hot. The chips were absolutely delicious and also piping hot. Slightly more expensive than I've paid at another F&C shop, but again because of the freshness, the delicate batter and delicious chips I honestly didn't mind.
