Astoria Hotel in City of London, Westminster

Okay place if you just need a bed to sleep in and a bathroom. That's what you get there. It's one of 50-100 other such "hotels"/accommodations on that street, just pick and choose. No elevator, narrow English stairs.

My room was not pleasing at all. Dust, hairs, water bubbling out of the shower when opening sink!

Got bitten by an insect in this hotel room do not recommend at all plenty of insects in the bed got bitten everywhere unclean.

Such a dirty hotel that you can't even be in it. Smells bad and has no service.

PLEASE FLEE!!! 1 star but if I could have zero! We arrived in such an unsanitary room, hairs in the shower on the bed and on the floor, mold, rust, a broken shower door, a very damp ceiling at the edge of the window with cracks and peeling paint. Toilet paper with yellow marks on it. Dust all over the sheets, on the floor in the corners and on the ceiling light! If it had only been that... indeed after checking we discovered bedbugs in the two single beds. We then called the manager who redirected us to a colleague on the same street whose room was just as unsanitary. The nightmare continues at 1am... with blood stains all over the sheet and rat or mouse droppings!! Neither of the two managers seem to be aware of the deplorable nature of the rooms offered! They ignore the facts and re-make the bed for the next customers in front of our eyes. Both relate the value for money, obviously you have to have money to have a minimum of hygiene. TO AVOID URGENTLY!! How can an establishment like this still remain open? Where are the health checks seeing all the other customer comments? PS: Via booking the comments are not the same as on Google! Odd

Good location, close to Paddington and Hyde park. Upon arrival room was dirty with garbage under the bed from previous guest. Really small bathroom, no leg room in toilet. Shower with stains and mold. Extration vent with plenty of dust. Service was just ok. They try to be nice and helpfull but most of the time they are checking their phones instead of focusing on guests.
