We are trying to change the way we get our produce to buy local and support local businesses. I ordered a couple of boxes of wine late one evening this week. There is free delivery within 12 miles, but we live 14 miles away- so I selected the option to go and collect the wine. The following morning the wine was delivered to my door by hand at no cost within 12 hours of my order. Such amazing service! The wine was reasonably priced and I’m really happy with my order. Looking forward to drinking it! This was my first time ordering from Astley Vineyard but we will be back and would love to visit for a vineyard tour sometime to learn more about where it came from and who made it.

Thoroughly enjoyed the wine tour and would highly recommend it. The passion of this family run business really came across and we were offered a good range of their wines to taste. I also found it very informative and had some great takeaway points for choosing wines with different foods!

Just stopped in for a quick visit on a very wet afternoon and we were blown away by the service, the knowledge, and hospitality. We tried a few wines (each of which we ended up buying a bottle of before we left as they were all very nice - especially the "Orange" Madeleine). Would recommend a visit!

Possible the worst wine I’ve tasted this decade. Overwhelming nose of sulphite folllowed by a VERY acidic mouthful with zero flavor. I had to open a bottle of red to wash it away. This wine is NASTY.

A lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Tim & Chris (and Oxo the dog!) are great hosts. Chris shares his knowledge of wine in a very relaxed and easy to follow way. It was interesting, and entertaining, hearing the history of the vineyard from Tim.

Lovely lovely location and experience. Tim, Chris and Bev were so welcoming. The tour was very professional and their passion for the vineyard and winemaking was very obvious. They had a wealth of knowledge and experience. They were extremely generous with their wine tasting and it was good to see how they are diversifying their production with vermouth and St Vincent. The nibbles with cheese were very welcome and complimented the different wines. We were lucky with the weather but I think we would have enjoyed it as much if it had rained. We only live down the road so we will be popping into the shop for supplies!

Very enthusiastic and helpful staff. Worthwhile checking opening times. Great to pop in and pick up a few bottles. Send guided vineyard walks are also possible, I think for £12 which includes a couple of glasses of wine. Great to see an English vineyard being successful.

What an afternoon we had with all the Hayward family at Astley Vineyard, Bev and Tim (Mum & Dad) made us welcome on arrival and introduced us to the whole family including Otso the Finnish Lapphund. Tim gave us a history of the vineyard which was extremely interesting before handing us over his son Chris the Wine maker who guided us through all the processes and techniques he uses to produce what I can only say is a great variety of wines produced at Astley Vineyard. The tour was both educational and entertaining, with the whole family taking part. We were made very welcome and enjoyed a relaxed and interesting afternoon. If you get the opportunity to visit the vineyard we would highly recommend it, you won't be sorry.

I would highly recommend going to Astley Vinyard! We visited for my best friends hen (12 people) and had a private group tour. I can't quite put into words how beautiful the vinyard was. The wine, fizz and food was equally as amazing. Bev and Chris did our tour and were super friendly, knowledgeable and put up with our many questions! Bev was also very helpful and responsive with the organisation / booking of the tour. Great value for money. BOOK NOW AND BUY LOTS OF WINE!!!

We went to a wine tasting session last year and had a wonderful tour. It was a fantastic opportunity to see the beautiful surroundings, getting to understand the processes from vine to bottle, and having some time to meet with Hayward family! Some great wines available – Old Vine Kerner is a personal favourite – and we have visited the several times since to pick up some extra bottles. Food was provided after the tour, however the only downside for us (and many others on the tour group) were the size of the portions which for the price of the ticket could have been more substantial. Would highly recommend securing a place on one of their tours, however, to support a quality family-run business in the West Midlands.

We completed a vineyard tour last year and it exceeded our expectations! So, when another wine tasting event came up to attend last night, I booked tickets for my husband and I to attend. We had a wonderful evening, the wine, the cheeseboard, the ambiance in the room was just all perfect. The owners are passionate about what they do and this can be seen all over the vineyard and the way they light up when talking about it all. If you haven't heard of them and what they do, I highly recommend you give this family run business a piece of your time, look them up on social media, go and book a tour and enjoy a wonderful event!

Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon at Astley Vineyard, wonderful tour and hosts very engaging. Got to taste a variety of wines, and experience how a vineyard operates. We were a family group of all ages, and we all agreed it was a well worth treat for all. We will definitely return to have a couple of glasses, while taking in the fab view.

Douglas and I enjoyed the most fabulous afternoon tour on Sunday 8th May with Tim, Chris and Bev, along with 18 other people. We were warmly greeted on this perfect of early Summer days in the stunning scenery of and around Astley Vineyard. It's history, how it works now and the enthusiasm of this Haywood family is infectious. We were seeing it in idyllic circumstances but there was no denying the hard work and commitment that goes on all year round. Oh and the wines are rather good too! To be highly recommended......Thank you for our introduction!

The wine tour and food matching taste experience is well worth the time, the wines are in the best tradition of great British craft. A sound addition to any celebration or Christmas (samples of the Madeline mulled were available today which has me thinking) We have the great advantage of Astley vineyard being very local and will certainly be doing the Returners tour this year.

Only came across this place by an accident but that was so fortunate. We got to try pretty much all the wines on offer and couldn't help ourselves and bought a few bottles. The operation is very small with the shop being basically a garage but the wines are certainly worth a little diversion if you're in the area.

We rode miles yesterday, got lost, found some great roads, (no potholes!) found the best ever pub in Tenbury, called the Market Inn. So much character, absolutely spotlessly clean and the lady behind the bar was lovely.

Grade 2-listed former pub converted to a restaurant but retains all its charm and character. In addition to English comfort food there is a Thai menu! No great surprises, but the Tom Yum, fish cakes, Panang and Jungle Curries were excellent. A decent pint, too. We were passing through, but next time we are in the area, we’d happily make a diversion to stop in again.
