Custom order for micro patisserie for a private function, and these guys were just incredible. The patisserie made the event!! I have been buying from this business for the last 6yrs and so, when planning our event, this was my immediate ‘go to’. They completely surpassed our expectations. Cannot recommended highly enough!

I think some of the reviews on here must have been written by people who have confused this beautiful French bakery/deli with another shop. We have used Le Delice for around 15 years and still marvel at the quality of the cheeses, meats, pates and pastries. The prices are very fair and the service is friendly and helpful. We are very fortunate to have this exceptional local business in Malvern. It's a wonderful place that we absolutely love! Thank you to all at Le Delice!

Sadly don't get to Malvern as often as we used to but always make sure we pop in when we do. Came away with a great selection of pastries, bread and cheese to share with my parents. Sadly they can't travel to France anymore, so we took a taste of France to them. Been a while but as good as ever and can't wait to return.

Having lived in France for 25 years before coming to Malvern, I must say how lucky we are to have such an outstanding boulangerie/pâtisserie here. It also has a delicatessen counter with French charcuterie, pâtés, cheeses and other delights. Produce arrives from France every week and it is a haven of deliciousness. Forget Waitrose or other imitations! This is the real deal 😎 Well done!

Regular customers / best bakery for miles! We have been to France many times recently and had the joy of some excellent artisan bakers and the team at Le Delice rival them every day of the week! We live round the corner on Highfield Rd, so it’s our local bakery and we are passionate customers of theirs, ignore the illiterate and toxic reviews placed probably but a half wit low life competitor!!! The team are fantastic and the bread, cheese and pastries cannot be beaten.

I have just read some negative reviews on here for Le Delice and I am dumbfounded. In order to give a one star review it would have to be terrible and it is not. I can only surmise it must be malicious. The service is always lovely even during the dark days post lockdown and the pastries are fabulous, just like you buy in France. This hard working family deserve credit for what they bring to the local community not bashing. If you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything. I for one will be going back again and again and hope they will continue for a long time.

Thought I wrote a review, as a little dishearten by another review of not going back because it wasn't opened when he wanted.. The family could have been going home to France for Christmas to see family for all he knows. Previously when I needed cheeses and cured meats for Christmas , I simply pre ordered weeks before and a lovely hamper was made . I always loved the service, freshly made rolls, to lovely cheeses and those lovely almond croissants.. Unfortunately shop is not waking distance for me to frequent at lunch (possibly good for my expanding belly). Staff are always lovely and I sooner support a local shop, and if it's not open when I want I will take a mental note of when it's open (not that difficult)

Closed at 2.30 with just 3 days to Christmas! Normally this is a great experience, great selection, the odd treat, but today though I was expecting to join a queue the place was closed at 2.30 pm. Incredible, I watched 4 other cars stop and leave, no doubt, like me to Waitrose to spend my £50 on Christmas cheeses and odds and sods. Nice to support local businesses, but never again. Really wanted to love this place, but personally I've found it disappointing - on the whole things are drier, heavier and not as tasty as I would hope or expect. I ve had the misfortune of coming here a couple of times, and to its sister shop at Link top. I have found the tarts and cakes so dry I ve taken a bite and thrown them away. I ve found the staff to have few manners when I ve been with my wife, and due to the current lunarcy of Covid they are paranoid about social distancing and touching a jar or can? I like to see what I am buying and to check ingredients. A friend bought us some cakes round this week, not knowing we had a low opinion of the place. My apricot tart was about 10% apricot and 90% tasteless bone dry pastry. The chocolate cake was so heavy Samson couldnt have picked it up. I ve been to France several times and ate superb food. If you want a nice slice of cake to take away go to Gallery 36 or Terrace on the Hill. Or just pop to Waitrose, superb and cheaper. Just to clarify a couple of points. The word malice means intending to do harm. My reviews of anything in life are based upon primary personal experience, or collaborative secondary experience and I speak as I find. I ve given dozens of reviews of various places and establishments. Mainly very praise worthy. Now if everyone who has ever used this shop has found the staff and produce very good, then good on them. I ve been judged on someone not knowing their facts about my reviews, or perhaps they believe in the liberal facism we are surrounded by, that you can't say anything negative? One of the facts they got wrong is that I ve been in the shop since Covid; I haven't. My wife went in and found the staff abrupt, and wouldn't let her pick anything off a shelf. And yet we have people handling goods to put them on the shelves in the first place, or are they exempt from Covid? Mind you, 99.87% of the country havent died from Covid, the sky clapped forget that. Just to point out my balance in reviews, I have had fabulous food arranged by The Cold Chef in Barnards Green, in the past. Good on them then. However, the last twice we ve had food delivered by them we have found it poor. I am speaking the truth, collaborated by the people who ate the food with me. I ve never set out with malice against any establishment or person, I just review through experience. The more that society drifts from the truth the more it will hate those who speak it.

I would have loved to try this bakery I heard wonderful things about them. But their policy is to serve mask exempt people from outside. As I've never been there I had no idea what my choices were so I couldn't order. Also.. to clarify, they are already taking a lot of steps for Covid security such as 1 person in at a time, staff wearing face shields and masks, they're a screen between staff and customer. They just felt that they needed to go ridiculously over the top and treat people that are unable to wear a mask like lepers.

A wonderful selection of hand made patisseries and savoury items too. Lovely friendly staff....nothing is ever too much trouble. Further down you will see a review by someone hiding behind the pseudonym of 'Odd Bod' Quite simply 'Odd Bod' your attack is cowardly because you do not identify yourself and if you have some complaint then take it up with the staff. It is outrageous to rubbish a business in such an anonymous way. Yes, gallery 36 does food, but not of this style, the Terrace on the Hill also does good food, but not of this style and Waitrose whilst good is a supermarket. If you want something a little more individual go to a small business which is experienced and has taste....that is Au Bon Pain and Le Delice in this case....there are few places I can think of within the two counties, which have the elements of both French parisserie or boulangerie within the same premies. So come on 'Odd Bod' either identify yourself or withdraw your outrageous remarks!

Moving to Malvern after living in France for the best part of five years, I was delighted to find this patisserie and then its sister shop Au Bon Pain. Fabulous bread, pastries, macrons and a wonderful selection of cheeses and other deli items. The prices of the cheese are honestly comparable to what I used to pay at my local outdoor market in SW France. The staff are always so warm and friendly while being very professional. I have been very impressed with how they have managed the customer experience throughout the pandemic - it feels reassuringly safe shopping there and yet is still just as friendly and personal an experience. If you want to transport your taste buds to France, go on in and treat yourself!

Start from the left side of the patisserie display, do not skip le opera, or the strawberry tart or the triple chocolate mousse or the passion fruit mousse and be sure to make a full sample of the macaroon flavours. No, no venden.

I've visited many restaurants in Paris, Rouen, Reims and Lille over the past two years including the Moulin Rouge and other hotspots. The food here and in particular the presentation and balance of flavours was superior to many of those. The Amuse bouche was mushroom with black truffle and pepper, excellent. Starter was six succulent escargot and Autumn chicken breast for the main all washed down with a glass of cabernet sauvigon. It was so good and I savoured every mouthful over the next hour. The service was better than experienced in France where waiting on is seen as a profession and not a weekend student job. Clearly someone has provided good training to the team as they knew their job without being intrusive and enhanced the dining experience. I had picked this Establishment for the night solely because of the restaurant and I was not dissapointed. The lack of Internet connection in room 16 would be annoying for many ant the TV was very small. That aside the room was comfortable, well coordinated and furnished nicely. Very clean and tidy. All staff I met were cheerful and helpful. Watch the parking on site as its somewhat haphazard with whit lines faded and confusing the hell out of you. I parked on the main road in the end as it was much easier. So in summation, if you want an excellent astronomical experience in great surroundings then book this restaurant/ hotel. The hotel us called COTFORD Hotel. I paid £99 for one night plus the cost of the meal naturally.
