We usually go lunch at Aspendos Ashford. Restaurant is always clean and welcoming. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is always very delicious and authentic. The lunch menu, a starter and main, is just under £10. An absolute bargain.

Ordered food delivery direct via the website. Order was confirmed at 19.02 and that it would take 60 mins. By 20.24 my delivery had not arrived so I called the restaurant and was told that the driver was on its way and it was minutes away. By 20.45 my order had still not arrived so I called the restaurant again. My order arrived while I was on the phone. Unfortunately the chips were cold, the meat of the main dishes were barely warm and there was hardly any salad. All in all I’m really disappointed. I’ve ordered from Aspendos previously and never had a problem before. I’m really disappointed.

Another fantastic meal with first class service. Relaxing atmosphere. Always great to visit when in Ahford. Quick and easy walk from hotel and station.

Firstly they didn’t have our reservation probably because there was a bigger reservation there so ours didn’t count apparently ,but reluctantly gave us a table anyway. Different prices in the restaurant then what they tell you online. Much more expensive in there. Rude staff that rush you and don’t listen to a word you say. Meat is nice but the rice tastes like it’s been microwaved. Not a nice atmosphere at all

Family Aspendos special We had a lovely family meal at Aspendos, Ashford for my birthday. It had been the first time that we went to Ashford, as our usual restaurant is the Aspendos, Folkestone. The food was fresh, very well seasoned and the salad was crunchy and delicious. The staff were all incredible and the service overall was impressive. The only difference was that Aspendos, Folkestone, as well as when we ordered to take out, always gave us complimentary baklava and Turkish tea once the bill was settled, but this was not the case in Ashford this time. Still a brilliant experience, thus the 4 star review, as opposed to 5.

Came on Friday night, hasn’t booked a table but staff welcomed us in and showed us to a table. We ordered our food and drinks, all came out quickly. Food was delicious and a massive portion. Staff were very friendly (2 guys). We really enjoyed the little touches such as the bread and olives, baklava and Turkish delight throughout the evening. Would recommend and hope to return again!

When I last visited, it was excellent, and I left a glowing review, but I visited again at the weekend and was left very disappointed. The restaurant wasn't busy but yet we were kept waiting for our order to be taken. We had to ask for our plates to be cleared. One meal was forgotten. We had to ask for drinks. When we asked for a dessert, none of the rest of the table was asked if we wanted anything. It felt like we weren't welcome, and there appeared to be an atmosphere amongst the staff. On the positive, the food was excellent. Perhaps next time, I'll avoid the restaurant and get a takeaway.

Visited on Mother's day along with two children (2 and 11 years). The staff were excellent throughout our visit, great with the children. We ordered the family special (bread, dips, olives starter, chops, ribs, kebab, chicken wings and breast along with rice and salad for the main] but this was far too much food for us to eat so we ended up taking what was left home to finish off later in the evening. The food was cooked well and along with he salad was very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the service was excellent and we are pleased that we choose this restaurant. Good atmosphere in the restaurant. We will visit again.

Having enjoyed several takeaways over the years, my sister treated me to a meal in the restaurant for my birthday. We had delicious olives for starters (proper tasty ones) and fried cheese. We then shared two chicken shish kebabs between the three of us - the portions are so generous, leaving just enough room for baclavas. All this washed down with a glass of Turkish wine. The service was excellent and very friendly. Will definitely return soon.

The best food I’ve had in Ashford all year. The mixed hot meze starter was a true taste sensation. And the minced lamb on the house special menu was incredible. So glad we chose to eat here tonight. We’ll be back for sure x

Just ordered and eaten a gorgeous lamb kebab from Aspendos in Ashford. Did not realise it came with rice salad pitta sauces . Complimentary baklavas and Turkish delight finished my meal beautifully. Thank you Aspendos I'll be back.

Visited midweek, arrived early as we hadn't booked. We received a lovely friendly greeting and was shown to a table. As we hadn't been before we asked the staff about the menu. They gave us some advice on the style of food and portion sizes....

Tried this restaurant for a takeaway for the first time at first thought it was a bit expensive but it had been recommended by a friend so thought we would try it and glad we did it was well worth it and will use again.

Dropped into this lovely restaurant for dinner this evening and it was beautiful! Portion sizes are huge and it’s extremely well cooked, seasoned and tastes incredible - they know exactly what they’re doing. Service was perfect and I’ll definitely be coming back soon. Thank you!!

Visited last Sat night, had lovely window seat.....however after about 10 mins it started to get very cold due to the Aircon, front door and the cold glass, to the extend that we had to put our Coats on and the table the other side...

Went for dinner and having never eaten Turkish food before (other than a kebab) was surprised at just how tasty it is, service was good and prompt and portion sizes were on the large side, so definitely good value for money. Highly recommended

We went last night. I had the lamb shank, partner had mixed Shish. The food was amazing, the lamb melted in the mouth and the broth was sensational. Partners rice was sensational and the meat cooked and marinated to perfection. Top quality food in Ashford.

We ordered our first takeaway. Humous terrific with bread plus salad and mains of chicken kebab with rice and cuscus wad perfect. Finished with baklava. Very pleased with the quality of the meal and quantity was large. We will be returning for another session.

We ordered a takeaway from Aspendos (unable to eat in during lockdown). The food was amazing and by far the best we’ve had during lockdown. It arrived hot in generous portions. The cold mezze was delicious, and our kebabs were juicy and packed with herbs...

We will definitely go again and also have home delivery. The good was just so tasty and beautifully cooked. Moist meat and wonderful sides. Can't say more.
