Came here for mother's day, it was a lovely meal. Hot food and perfect sitting by the window. Will be returning!

Fresh, tasty, and cooked perfectly. Only slight letdown was the Frutti di Mare, which just felt a bit plain and lacked the punch you’d expect — kind of just a basic tomato pasta. But overall, solid job!

Lovely meal last night, tried a new dish ( tuscan chicken orzotto) and it was great. Well done to Rob on the cooking. Was extremely well looked after by Ellie. Would recommend

Went as a family for the first time at this location. The service was good however 3 out of 5 of us got food poisoning of which we just recovered. We did not eat anything after so we are sure that we got bad food at this particular place.

We were served by Fleur Yesterday Evening.... WOW just WOW ! She was absolutely fantastic! I cannot remember the last time I've eaten out somewhere and had such a friendly and helpful waitress! Thank you Fleur and good luck !!! :)

First time ever going and the staff where soo kind and helpful towards my friend who has a nut allergy. The food was made by Rob and Jordan and it tasted amazing! Served by Ellie, and she was soo sweet Can't wait to go again!

What can we say....the waitress was delightful...the food excellent.we are only too sorry that we never left a tip. Forgot to put it on the card and had no change.... apologies, Paige! We cannot remember when we last had such well cooked food. I had the sea bass.... beautifully prepared. Can't say any more, I would Just be repeating the same. We very rarely leave comments, but this was exceptional John.

Came for a meal with my partner and child this week, great and attentive service by Ellie and food was fab (thank you Rob!), and a special dessert board for my birthday was a lovely touch!

This was my first ASK Italian experience and it didn't disappoint, the food was exactly what I hoped , flavourful and delicious, and the drinks were fun, creative and enjoyable, I had wonderful service by Ellie and credit goes to rob and Jordan for the food , highly recommend

Given this restaurant 3 chances as the food is nice and good menu for kids and vegans, but all 3 occasions we have had to wait so long to get our food. Went last Monday at 5.30pm told wait staff that we waned a quick meal, as after school, not very busy but still did not get our food for 1.5hours, from entering the restaurant to eating the food. the service is nice and polite but the kitchen seems to have a real problem with delivery and getting orders out in good time. shame as we like the food but the wait is too long. we ordered 2 adult pizzas and 3 children's meals

Jamie was a fantastic host and provided the perfect atmosphere for our meal. He answered our questions and went over and above to cater for us. The food was delicious too! We will definitely be back - thank you!

Visited ASK ITALIAN in Lincoln on 20th Feb 25 for daughter's birthday meal. Were seated straight away, timed it right as it filled up very quickly. Service was great from the start, with complimentary lemonade from our very friendly server Emily. We chose a Fonue with crispy bread as a starter and 2 very tasty pizzas. Absolutely full, theres always room for dessert and we'd seen the new ones on the menu and couldn't miss trying them, it was a BD meal after all. Bomboloni Sundae c/w mini donuts & Chocolate Falls - a chocolate dome that melts when pour warm caramel sauce over it on to toffee popcorn, and amazing chewy choc brownies. Definitely worth a try 🤩 Overall a great meal - food prepared by Taryn & Penyo, served by Emily, they even threw in the BD girl's dessert for free 🎉 Absolutely recommend this place ✨️

A great lunch time meal at Ask Italian, food came super quick and staff really friendly! I also found out that have a deal for kids - 3 course for £1 on in the half term!!! Ordered a £17 pizza, it was gone in less than three minutes. It lacked everything, did the waiter drop my toppings on the way to the table, seriously pathetic pizza. We wanted to go to pizza express but it was fully booked unfortunately, their pizza’s are a challenge to eat, bursting with flavour, and crammed with toppings. We will not be returning to Ask Italian ever again, even if we could have gotten the 30% student discount I still would have felt robbed.

Went here last night with my two good pals and it was underwhelming to say the least. The atmosphere and service were ok but the main issue was the food. It is simply overpriced and underwhelming. The pizza? What pizza? There's nothing there. It's like someone bought a morrisons pizza and removed half the toppings then served it to you on a square. Dissapointing. If the pizza from Ask Italian were a movie it would be 'Gone in 60 Seconds' but sadly there is no Nic Cage to put a smile on my face. The dough balls? Perhaps the saving grace of the night but nothing to write home about. Diet coke? Legendary as always. Can't complain really but the bottles do mean you get less liquid for what you pay for. £25 for a pizza, side and drink is far too expensive for what you get. Absolutely not generational. Pizza Express was unfortuantely booked up in Lincoln but I would have gladly driven to Newark to eat Pizza Express there rather than Ask Idiotic.

Me and my husband visited Lincoln and had a sharing starter followed by a king prawn and crayfish pasta and the carbonara. All of the food was fantastic, compliments to the chefs Benton and AL and we were served by Jamie. We would highly recommend visiting for a date night!
