Very tasty and well presented food. Friends and I wanted some recommendations and dishes explained to us and the owner was absolutely lovely who went above and beyond to help us choose the perfect dishes. The Cumin Lamb was amazing and the half duck was very nice and moist (not dry like some places). We will be back! Thank you for a lovely welcoming evening.

Thank you to team Asian noodle bar, we celebrated two birthdays in one, your food is second to none, excellent portions, great value and very very tasty! The service 100%, we loved the personal birthday decorations and the hats! Ice cream served with a candle for free was a wonderful touch for the birthday girl and birthday dad. Been coming to this restaurant since Peggy opened and I can honestly say it’s the best Chinese / Asian food we have ever had!! So fresh and authentic no where else in Plymouth serves Asian food at this level! It’s amazing! The owners are lovely and we love coming here to see them and help support their business! The chicken satay is stunning and crispy noodle basket with crispy pork was amazing! Duck was so tasty and tender and we always have a beef ho fun! Best ever!!!

Got a takeaway and I had the chicken satay. The meat quality was bad and the sauce was not satay!! The sauce was just plain and boring chow mein sauce and they gave me peanuts to put on top... That is not satay!! Was very disappointed and was boring of eating it after a few bites.

We ordered a large takeaway. The quality of the food was average at best. A couple of the dishes were poor. Quality of the meat didn’t seem that great. I had squid as a starter and that was pretty decent though.

We visited this restaurant as a spur of the moment decision so hadn't booked but they were extremely accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and we were given some lovely recommendations. I know Asian food well having worked previously in a Chinese restaurant and I can say the food here was superb! Absolutely delicious, lovely fresh vegetables, tender meat, tasty sauces, a great mix of flavour with spices. We cannot wait to go back again, Peggy was so friendly and easy to chat to, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience this evening!

Very nice meal here at the Asian noodle bar. The food is authentic and cooked to order. Our favourite is the Kung Po cube. If you’re looking for the best Chinese food in Plymouth h then look no further. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

First time visiting Asian noodle bar , very friendly staff and owner nothing was too much trouble . This was the best Chinese we have had , beautifully presented and cooked. Reasonably priced. 2 of us had the lunchtime menu and 1 ate from the main menu , all dishes were tasty and plentiful. We will be returning.

This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a side alley it is easy to miss. However....once upstairs...my partner, 11 year old daughter and myself were warmly welcomed.....the atmosphere was pleasant and the service was superb. The food was freshly cooked and arrived in less than 10 minutes....and it looked and tasted amazing. Yes its decor is dated....and it somewhat tucked away..... It just goes to show you don't need bright lights and huge signs to experience good fresh food. We will definitely be visiting here when we come up from Cornwall again.

What a hidden gem by the Barbican!!!. An amazing place to eat, true hidden gem. I've lived in Plymouth for years and heard good things. Was worried about the stairs but they weren't a issue at all (I was expecting a lot more than there was!). I finally visited today with a friend for her birthday. Yin made us feel so very welcome and had laid out a beautiful birthday table. The food was delicious and quick to arrive and the desert came with a candle and a song. Great value for money.
