When I dine in, the food is always nice. This is the 3rd time I have order takeout and unfortunately it’s like the dishes always taste completely different, and it seems it just has thrown together. I will continue to dine in, but will order takeout from another restaurant moving forward.

Ate here before a concert at Co-op Live (used the park and ride) really enjoyed the food. It was really fresh and incredibly tasty. The service could have been better but wasn't terrible. We were stood a while at the door waiting to be seated, then again had to wait a while to be given a menu. When we asked for more drinks and napkins the staff were helpful and friendly though.

Served quickly. Food came quickly. But downhill after that No check back to see if food ok. Did not come back to ask if we wanted more drinks. We had to chase them down for cutlery and drinks. Asked for the bill and waited an age for it. They then have audacity to ask for a tip. Worst Wagamama we’ve been to. I would avoid.

I'd never been to a Wagamamas before, and was pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing. The service was excellent. We'd gone for a birthday meal and it didn't disappoint. Will definitely return.

I have become very disappointed in my favourite meal, it has shrunk to near half the size. However has continued to rise in price.

Being a tourist from the states, wagamamas was an intriguing option when we decided we wanted to try somewhere new. As I had never been here before, I was a bit on the fence about whether or not I would enjoy the food. However , to my surprise, the food in terms of taste and presentation was very nice but the thing that really stood out to me was the service. Our server, I think his name was Krish, offered us the best dining experience I’ve had to date. His enthusiasm and charisma made the whole experience enjoyable and if I was a resident of the area, I would be a frequent customer. I felt the need to express this on the Google review as we have come back to Arizona now and the memories we made in the UK are still what we reminisce about. Surprisingly, wagamamas is one of those in particular. I hope the restuarant recognise the talent of their staff especially our server. Thank you to him and to wagamamas for offering such a delightful service.

Great place for a pre concert meal the park free and take the tram into Manchester.

Great service from lovely, friendly, helpful staff, knowledgeable about the food and helpful with our choices. One of our meals was late arriving, staff were so nice, brought me a free glass of wine and I hadn’t even complained. This is obviously a very well led and managed restaurant. We’ll come again xx

Another fantastic meal at Wagamamas, this was our first visit to the Ashton Moss site and definitely won't be our last. We were served by Chloe who was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered her recommendations. She has a great sense of humour and was attentive and fun. Credit to the company. Thank you to all the staff FOH and BOH for a lovely meal. Would definitely recommend. Straight off the main road and close to M60 with tonnes of free parking.

We decided to try Wagamama for Dinner. Rachel our server was helpful in explaining the dishes. She was friendly and relaxed when taking our orders. We had plenty of time to enjoy our tasty food. It was a joy to be served by her.

Awful. The food was horrible. My son treated me £62 for 2 starters and 2 mains and 3 drinks. I've had better from a take away. Definitely won't go back, not worth the money. The service wasn't that great either.

My partner persuaded us to avoid the usual trip to Nandos and to visit Wagamamas (She was keen to take my Wagamamas virginity). I agreed. We walked in and i was pleasantly surprised with the Japanese aesthetic. Each table is private and none are placed directly next to each other which is always a bonus! I looked at the menu and realised that they are charging a lot of money for cheap asian meals. I decided to go with the Katsu Curry and my partner got some chicken noodles which were £14-£15. For some reason the lady taking our order was doing large squiggles on our plate mats which flabbergasted me. Im not sure if she was bored and exercising her wrists or writing in another made up language. The food came and it was ok.. kinda bland.. just ok.. definitely not worth £15.. noodles for £15? Anyway the only reason why i am writing this review if because the food has made me and my girlfriend violently ill. We are shaking as we speak and have threw up heavily over the past 8 hours. Do not go her.. also my food came out and i had to wait 15mins until my girlfriends came out. Chefs look like they are in college and are not Japanese chefs.

It has been quite a while since I went to any Wagamama's. The starters where fantastic. I ordered Padthai which I normally love. It used to be a taste explosion for the taste buds. But sadly they have changed the recipe due to allergies etc. So I was a little disappointed. They place was lovely though. The staff where excellent.

The ramen soup was delicious as was the draft beer. The food and drink came very quickly.

We visited Wagamama’s in Ashton-Under-Lyne as a ‘walk-in’ at 5pm on a Saturday night and they were able to seat us as a table for two. Service was attentive and the wait staff checked back with us regularly to see if we needed extra drinks or help with the menu. Very friendly staff and the food was fantastic despite the restaurant getting busier after we arrived.

Placed a deliveroo Yaki Soba order from here and was extremely poorly for 2 days solid. Avoid at all costs, the food was dreadful.

My duck came so pink it was almost raw in the middle, I picked the worst parts out and put them on the side of my starter plate to show the staff. She took my starter as well as my dish and never brought it back, losing my entire starter which cost £5! They redid my dish, which after having been sent back as undercooked, came back just as bad the second time! When this was flagged to staff again I was given the excuse "our duck comes precooked and is absolutely fine". No, it is not absolutely fine! I've worked in kitchen before and meat come partially cooked to save on prep time, with the understanding it is cooked thoroughly a second time before serving! These staff are going to cause food poisoning and don't seem to care as apparently raw pink duck meat is absolutely fine! Left hungry after paying for a starter that was taken away and a main which was inedible twice! The attached photo is the second time my food was brought out after my complaint of it being undercooked!!!

Awful food - tasteless - very little curry sauce / tough beef / delivered ( on time ) cold by “Deliveroo” - will never use Deliveroo or order from Wagamama again. Deliveroo promised £12 discount for first use - not received. Two meals plus one starter over £50 We can dine out in Manchester with waiter service for that money ! Wagamama used to be fantastic “eat in” at Manchester “Print works” and “”Albert’s Square”. The fast food delivery option leaves a lot to be desired.

Delicious! 103 ebi katsu 10000/10! 113 Korean barbecue beef bao 09/10 (not my type) 105 pulled pork gyoza 8/10 (not my type) 12 high five panchi 10/10 perfect taste We got green tea for free (you can ask for it as well) Our waitress was Kellsey and she was lovely! Place is very clean and well decorated Amazing experience for a evening date after work!

Quick review: excellent location, super fast food on a weekday, plenty of parking, great staff and service. Delicious oriental food and lots of variety. Tip: come on a weekday afternoon, where you have the whole restaurant to yourself. I recommend the vegan ribs as it was more delicious than the real meat version. I also had chilli chicken Ramen, which was filling, tasty and authentic.

Invited here as a press visit for new menu. The interior is done really nicely. The usual long tables but also some nice more intimate booths and a great open kitchen. Service was great, appeared when needed but wasn't overbearing. Had a couple of cocktails which were delicious, and the food was really tasty. Loads of great vegan/veggie options. The vegan 'ribs' were a highlight along with the mushroom bao. I had the vegan ramen with added egg and it was so good. Definitely well needed on a cold winters night.

As a vegetarian and a fussy eater I don't have a lot of choices. However wagamamas Yasai choices are greate for vegetarian. There are lots of things across the Menu you can try. Their high five fruit juice is one of my favourite. :)

Went here for my 8 year olds birthday (his choice, he loves it). Again, cannot fault Wagamama at Ashton Moss on anything! Staff are amazing, food is amazing. Thanks again guys for a great experience.

Wagamama is a great place to eat with a plethora of great meals to choose from. I have tried most of their vegan menu now and every dish has not disappointed. Particular dishes I would recommend are: mixed mushroom buns, yasai vegetable gyoza, kare borosu ramen and silken tofu gochujang rice bowl (donburi new to the menu). The atmosphere at this particular restaurant is very good. I have visited during the evenings and there are tables available on arrival. The staff are friendly too.

We visited as a family on a Friday evening. No wait for a table, food came quick, staff were super friendly.

Visited with my son and his family for my grandson Toby's 9th birthday celebration. Our waiter was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble for him. He was attentive, knowledgeable and very polite. An asset to the restaurant. The food was brilliant, tasty, really good portions and served very efficiently. Loved the drink selection especially the cherry blossom lemonade garnished with dried rose petals. Toby was so pleased with his birthday meal as were the rest of his. Can't wait to go again.

Not too busy when we visited on Tuesday evening. If Wagamama's is new to you the style of dining may seem strange: the layout is informal, and mostly long tables with benches and stools so at busy times other people may be sitting close to you. Food comes to the table as soon as it is made rather than all arriving together. Wagamama has a separate gluten free menu, and the manager both took my order and was at pains to make sure I understood that the work surface used to prepare my food would be cleaned down before preparation started, but that even so, they couldn't be absolutely certain of avoiding contamination etc. etc. The GF menu had a limited choice but there was enough to not feel cheated. The GF dessert menu had 4 options, 3 of which were ice cream or sorbet. The 4th was a cookie dough / ice cream combination. But I was full already so didn't try this...

Served quickly by a friendly, smiley young lady. She did get the drink order wrong, but quickly realised and rectified her mistake. The food was tasty and of fresh ingredients.

So I've been a fussy eater all my life and have always been scared of trying new foods. I had been pressured by my 10-year-old daughter to take us all here as she had visited with her friend's parents and loved the food. I have been blown away by the food. As for the service 👌 it was second to none. We had a wonderful young lady called Rachel and she was so polite and nothing was too much trouble. She's a credit to the company. There was also a young man called Marshall who greeted us at the door and he was also a credit to the company. The whole team work so well together and I'm sure we'll meet the rest of the team on our future visits. 😁🤟

We have ordered food from there, ramen came almost completely dry with barely any broth and tasted dreadful, the worst I have ever tried. The rest was alright.

My first time at any Wagamama. The food was lovely and the portions were larger than I was expecting. Drinks are a bit pricey, in my opinion, but I would definitely go again. Please note, I like hot spicy food, but that firecracker chicken is something else, you've been warned!!!!!! 😀

The food in Waggamama was awful normally go for the firecracker chicken at most Waggamama restaurants but this one tasted like I was eating rice and ketchup. Ordered the Passioncalada cocktail it was tiny and tasted disgusted £8:50 for 2 sips of coconut cream. The staff where all friendly and welcoming can't fault them but the food and drink was awful.

I had what was described as a katsu curry. Dreadful, gloopy rice with a tablespoon of lukewarm curry sauce and pieces of cut up breaded fried chicken.

Jessica was the young lady at the door and was incredibly efficient, she did it with professionalism, her timing was magnificent and was also incredibly cheery. She also was clearing tables too, you as a company are truly lucky to have her. Our waiter was also very friendly and helpful. Great staff x

Came here about a month ago and normally we love eating at wagamamas but the food lacked flavour here. The service was slow and poor, initially given the wrong table number so couldn't get our order started and water glass still had lipstick on it!

The food was very bland and out of all the restaurants I've ever been to I've never been served a main before a starter and be told "It just comes out like that" bit disappointed seeing as it's not been open for long. We make better food at home.

My partner and I absolutely love Wagamamas and we've been to a fair few branches. This was our first time at Ashton Moss' branch though and we were really impressed. The food was amazing - we both commented how our usual dishes just tasted better than usual. The interior design is also really lovely. Definitely the best atmosphere I've felt in a Wagamamas. And of course the servers were lovely. Will be back soon!

We spent my Mum’s birthday dinner at wagamama ashtonmoss, where our waiter, Marshall was super helpful, and gave us some great recommendations for food. The managers, Jess and Alex made my Mum’s birthday a very special day and took extra care of us and checking on us frequently. The food arrived hot and fresh and was delicious. Our experience at Wagamamas was 10/10. Highly recommend :)

The complete lack of atmosphere can probably be put down to visiting a Monday tea time when it was super quiet. Service was fairly quick and pleasant though it was hard to attract someone's attention - despite all the customers being in one corner. Food was good - better than I had expected to be honest. Its not my usual food of choice but I enjoyed it and would go back.

We had such a great time, The staff were lovely but quite sad to see they didn't check the mug coaster that was used to serve my toddler the cococino, it had a huge crack and could have injured my 2year old just glad I discovered it first. Parents be sure to double check before handing drinks to your little one. Wagamama please check your plates and cups, especially ones used to serve little ones
