I came in with, my daughter's and was served by a stunning human being, a heart of gold a smile I want to wake up to just amazing. I haven't stopped thinking her since.

No choice just bacon bap was cold just like service was I would not recomend eating there will say there tables were clean

Rubbish! Dont wast your time coming here. We both were having a full breakfast with 2 coffees which come to a cost of £17.96. Breakfast came in a small saucer plate looks more to a kiddy meals. No toasts and no proper cutlery. All they provide are wooden cutlery which cant even cut through the sausages! We went to buy our own knife & fork at the stores! For £17.96 you could get a nice proper breakfast at a pub somewhere. Will never step a foot here again!

Called to asda to do a shop with my sister and thought we would get a quick bite and drink before we started . I ordered a festive pigs in blanket toastie meal dealoh my days 🙃 it was so poor and under cooked it had to go back ,by this time my sister had eaten when my replacement cake back to be given the same again no offer of a refund and poor service I wouldn't recommend in fact stay away .

Poor experience. Popped into ASDA, Hessle road café to take advantage of the warm surroundings,and the offer on for OAP's, for soup and a bread roll and a cup of tea (no charge for top ups) for £1. We had to wait 21 minutes for the soup and roll. The amount of soup was small (but it was only £1 with tea included) so can't complain about the quantity. Unfortunately the soup was almost cold and the roll rather dry. My wife couldn't eat hers, but I ate mine, but didn't enjoy it at all. Admittedly we would probably have paid a £1 for a pot of tea anyway. Albeit, if a major supermarket can't even get a bowl of soup right, then it's a sad thing. We would've complained, but the staff didn't seem to be at all bothered about any of the services. The tea was ok, but we made that ourselves, shame about the rest of it. We will go to another local café in the future and do our shop elsewhere.

I've been in here a few times. The service is always very slow. Staff seem totally fed up and can be quite rude. No other cafés in the area so end up in here.

We bought alcohol and she cleared screen and said be back to take tabs off she past us 5time still wait on her she sorted the man on next till and walked off yet again what an ignorant woman staff think they so good what ever then I said god as fed up of waiting someone else fix the problem why should I of waited 20 mins for 2 bottle alcohol you ever need more staff on that are not ignorant

Queued for 15 minutes behind 4 other customers for a takeaway tea. Looking around at the tables, I could only see takeaway cups being used. I ordered a tea and they gave it to me in a cup. I apologised and I didn’t mention that I wanted to take it away (as the cafe advertises to “eat in or takeaway”) she said they don’t have takeaway cups. I pointed to to takeaway cups on display. The lady then i informed me it was for coffee. I then clarified that I could take a coffee out but not a tea. She replied yes, because of the temperature. I was understandably very disappointed 😫

Visiting asda mount pleasant me, my daughter and one year old grandson decided to have something eat in the cafe. I wish we never bothered, fish fingers was burnt and hard, pizza slice base was that hard i could even bite through it, the chips tasted like they had been re fried over and over, the beans had a brown skin over them my grandson wouldn't eat any of it. The drink was suppose to be a fanta when we started pouring it it came out white! Even though there was only 3 other people in the cafe we couldn't find a clean table, i had to ask for a cloth i cleaned the table while the staff stood and watch me. I would avoid asda cafe at all cost.

Visited here and ordered the meal deal burger and chips, the burger was absolutely tasteless , luke warm nothing on it, yet when you see the picture at there cafe it has relish on it, chips like card board cold yet waited 30 mins for the meal and know one was in front of us in the queue it cost £ 4.50 definitely a rip off won't be going there again,

Popped in for some lunch the women serving was ignorant and it was like I was bothering her I ordered pizza and chips and she gave me my pizza and I was stood waiting for my chips she said abruptly I will bring you your chips I ask ask if there was any sugar for my cup of tea she just said no (no apology) I didn’t understand this as the cafe is part of a supermarket that sells loads of sugar i have never had that sort of service anywhere before and it looks like she serves like this all the time by the reviews

I took my child for some food, the staff member who served me was dreadful. Very rude, even got annoyed when I asked for some condiments. Unfortunately I couldn’t complain as the customer service desk was busy. I called the helpline up but it won’t let me call the store. Food was great thats the only plus.

Don’t bother, the day I was in there , the table I sat down at needed a good clean, I cleaned it with tissues not expecting the slice of pizza to taste like cardboard

Don’t bother. Literally one of the worst eating out experiences we have ever had. Hardly anything but cold pizza on the menu. Surly staff, miserable atmosphere. Genuinely shocked at how truly awful it is.

The place looks cheap and basic. The staff look disinterested and 'bothered' by your presence. I asked for two Cappuccinos coffee's and struck bewildered looks to the dishevelled staff. The unbelievable reply "We haven't got any coffee!" I was just as stunned as they looked ! We settled for a bottled cold drink & two flap jacks. We felt we were in some basic roadside cafe, not in a multi-national store cafeteria. Not Good At All.

Hy just been Asda Mount Pleasant only took in a basket As you do ended up loaded up with items pillows etc dropping them on the floor a really nice lad called Ryan came to help he went to get me a trolley from outside so thank you once again Ryan

Regularly pop into the Hessle Road asda cafe. Always clean and I feel well looked after. The girls are always friendly and chatty. Normally pop in for a breakfast, which comes fresh and hot, and also nice hot cup of tea on a cold winters day. Thanks to all the girls who work there. Keep it up

the staff are brilliant and the cost is low . the food is fresh and it is served warm to you and you can not fault warm food when you are hungry

Popped in here before driving home after a trip to Bruges. Ordered breakfasts which didn't arrive with toast. Get your binoculars out to read the small print on the display. Ordered the toast and it came with no butter. No butter in a supermarket? Lady on the till thought this was funny amd ironic. I call it being a lazy f@#cker. We went and bought some butter which we had to butter with a wooden knife! Yes, meals are served on paper plates with wooden knives and forks. Awesome. Can the people of Hull not be trusted with regular cutlery? Or is it the staff can't be arsed doing the dishes? Terrible food when it came too. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

1st yo be served just after 8.00 am I had the breakfast with toast & a cup of tea (£4.80 total)It came out in good time nice runny fried egg & well cooked bacon & hot beans but the hash brown was just about warm. Poor girl was serving at the till & serving the breakfast on her own until I saw another staff member arrive around 8.15. All average enough & pretty much ok but what disappointed was the cheap plastic cutlery & paper plates. Throwaway society in a nutshell & completely unacceptable in this day & age. Wake up ASDA there is a plague of Plastic & single use plastic is the worst sort of waste we need to stop. Use wooden alternatives or proper cutlery please!

Both coffees served were luke warm I stuck my finger in it to show the girl behind the counter (with a great dont give a monkeys attitude) that it was cold response "it is what it is can put hot water in it" Settled in nuking it in the rather manky microwave supplied. No pride taken in anyway in this cafe

What a mistake popping in for breakfast yesterday before doing some shopping. When ordering the two staff didn’t want to be there orders sausage bap / small breakfast and some toast, bottle drink and a HOT chocolate. It was very quite customer wise my HOT chocolate was luke warm but thought I can still drink it didn’t want to say anything. the 2 people next to us one had eaten his when the other came out said something to the lad but he just walked away. Ours came out together after about half hour zzzz but the sausage bap was a bacon bap so the wife took it back and they changed it.my breakfast was not good and no toast. After eating I went up a bit sheepish to tell them I didn’t get my toast so can I have the money back for it to be told no I will do it now ? I don’t want it I want the refund for it. Then the lady said can’t without a receipt which I wasn’t given so then the two of them was going through the bin to find it to right on it and told take it to costumer service no sorry /thank to or kiss my ars . Normally for how much it was I wouldn’t boverd but it’s the principle so went over to be meet by a loverly member of staff who did the refund and couldn’t stop apologising . Shame the staff in the cafe didn’t have the same attitude.

Made the mistke to eat a breakfast - labelled ‘ express breakfsat’ - waited ages for it, it arrived cold - never again even if I’m starving. All plastic utensils and dispiable plates - such a waste.

I have a son with special needs who often asks to go to ‘the Asda with pizza’ even though it is quite a drive for us but I normally agree to take him because of the reasonable prices, despite it being like a school canteen. After our visit yesterday, I have told him we will not go again. The prices have gone up by an incredible amount, some have doubled and no longer refillable soft drinks despite a rise from £1 to £1.50. People were complaining continuously in the queue. I did feel sorry for the staff having to fend off irate people as it’s obviously out of their hands but if you are going to increase prices so steeply, please at least try to keep the cafe clean and presentable! And have napkins available.

this cafe is always running out of cups with lids to serve tea the staff are more concerned about chatting to friends rather than serving the queues are long and the food served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery is poor

Got a chicken breast & chorizo pannini as well as steak & cheese. Sounded nice but they were disgusting. Hardly any chicken on & tasteless. The steak also disgusting. I would say they were the worst sandwiches I'd ever eaten in a cafe. I know it's only a supermarket cafe but I've eaten in other well known supermarket cafes with lovely food at cheaper prices. Very disappointed. I will never go to eat there again.

We arrived as a treat for my two boys before going to school, we got here 20 mins early so decided to go into the store whilst wating for it to open. When we did order 4×crumpets 2xtoast 3xsoft drinks we were told ill bring it right over (16 mins later ) the young girl brought over our stale burnt breakfast! Obviously it had been toasted and left and the just warmed up again! Also the tables we sat at needed cleaning too! It had just opened as we were the first sat here so how congealed egg had managed to stay on the table im not sure!

Asda cafe is good value for money I like the hot dog and chips and the garlic bread it’s very cheap too.

Cafe is a bit. Hectic but food is cheap for snacks like chips pizza slices etc, coffee £1 m worth a visit

During our weekly shopping to ASDA we decided to try their cafe. The food wasn't too bad, could be better. Slightly pricey on some items.

Visited today, food ok. Service from staff terrible. Will not use again. In fact puts me off using store altogether.

On a recent visit to friends they suggested we got pizza for lunch from Asda's Cafe.

Needed breakfast, on our way into Hull, so called at Asda, wish we had NOT.

Don't expect fine dining in a Supermarket Cafe, but at least it should be served on proper plates with proper cutlery, not paper plates and plastic knives and forks! It looks cheap and nasty and it makes the food look the same! This used to be a reasonable place for a quick snack, but since it became a Fine Diner, that is precisely what it isn't

We go swimming every Monday and at a nearby pool and then do a little shop around asda.

My husband and I called into the Cafe at Asdaa Bilton after doing our shop!

Recientemente me comí en el café en la calle hessle, asda normalmente no comprar en el supermercado Asda olvídate de comer allí, pero sin duda volveré, sólo por la gran experiencia! ! El personal era extremadamente servicial y amable, a mis hijos. Creo que fuimos...

Buscamos en internet para revisar el Café nada casa. Asda Ayer tenía atún sandwich, noté mayo fue muy descuidadas pero comimos, obviamente. Hoy he pasa pregunto por qué. No es algo en mi propia casa como marido no se ejecuta como comimos lo mismo en casa como los otros sólo tenía este ayer mientras. No comer de nuevo. Quizás no en nevera Mayo quién sabe.

Aléjate! No vale la pena poner en su boca, excepto por la cola, este es el peor es barato, pero es una bolsa de plástico. . . . En vez de comer. que. Sería mucho mejor para usted

Premises always dirty. Food always stale, rubbery and tasteless - and that's IF they have anything other than lukewarm beans in. Products always overpriced, portions hilariously small. Staff always rude. Nutritional value of meals? Level: Clogged Arteries.Avoid this establishment. In fact, save yourself the trouble and avoid ASDA altogether. There are plenty of other supermarkets/cafes around.

As we were doing our shopping at Asda we decided to try the cafe instead of KFC. Sadly to say, never again.My daughter in-law had the gourmet burger which she described as the worst burger she has ever had.We had the all day breakfast which was warm and rubbery, the bread was old and there were no chips!!!The chip fryer was bust and we were given old warm dry roast potato!Back to KFC for some ''proper'' food!

Really is the worst place to eat! Thought I'd try it again for the third time but still as shocking as the first two!! The staff are rude, they do not serve anything on the menu, everything takes ages from them taking your order to serving your food which is either cold or cremated! The knives and forks are unclean, you have to beg for milk for hot drinks, I could go on forever!! Just AVOID Hessle road Asda and go to Mount Pleasant instead.

I recently went to Asda, After slipping on grapes an injuring myself i was given a "free" cup of coffee in the cafe. What a dismal place, store noise and not relaxing at all. Would have been nice to sit outside or an area where there was less noise.
