ASAGA Noodle Bar in Swansea

This became my new favourite after getting bored of Chopstix but unfortunately the last 2 visits the food hasn’t been great. It’s really bland and lacking in flavour the same for the noodles. I hope they sort this out as they have a great range of toppings

The food isn’t bad but has increased in price a lot recently, I came to have food at 7:30 and sat down enjoying my food, staff came up to me at 7:50 saying that they are closing and I need to leave without informing me of them closing at 8:00, they said I can stay only 5 mins and I need to leave, they began closing the shutter doors while I was inside eating and they started brushing the floor dust towards my direction, not pleased not sure if will return again.

This is a nice little noodle bar. The staff are very pleasant & respectful. The Sichuan food is very good. Great for casut10 minutes break.or take away

Normally the chilli chicken is really nice but on thjs occasion it wasn't very hot and it gave me a bad stomach. The rest was very nice.

I absolutely love this little gem. My youngest introduced me to it just after lockdown.. I've tried most things and it's all fresh, hot and so damn tasty... I've not had the noodles as I'm a rice girl so can't comment on them but they always look lush. The staff are sweet, you can also see the chefs cooking the mains which is nice to watch, it's really clean in there and they do have a seating area. I always take my food away. 😋

Absolutely stunning food. We went here at 7.45pm and even though they were getting ready to close and some dishes had run out they freshly made us more. Excellent service I must say. They could have just said we have none left like most other places but no they made fresh for us without us even asking. You don't get service like that everywhere. Thank you Asaga! 😊

Great food, freshly cooked and good prices

Simply yummy. £6 for a meal, it's cheaper than fast food but cooked with love. Good selection and lovely staff, Need to visit again soon

Well cooked tasty Asian food at reasonable prices. I always have a 2 topping box with half and half noodles and rice. They always fill the box completely,so they never leave you hungry. I prefer Asaga to choptixs. Give a try, and you won't be disappointed.

Been here a few times, food is always good and prices are good too!

Had caramel chicken and it tasted like rubber , opened it up the texture and colour ( grey) was horrible. Took it back they look d at it and they instantly changed it and binned the old one. Very suspicious and that definitely wasn't chicken because the chef was shown and even he said nothing🤮🤮🤮 do not go there

I was overcharged and when I complained the young man didn't apologise and instead asked me if I was sure I wanted a 70p refund. I accepted the proposed refund even though it should have been £1 and not 70p, watch your contactless payments if you go here

Tasted amazing and a way larger portion compared with chopstix. Lots of variety for the choices of toppings. However, the store environment is not that great and definitely in need a refurbishment asap.

Poor ingredients, poor quality, dirt everywhere. There's plenty better places as a pitstop in the area

Would have used to be a 5⭐️ but they now changed their noodles and upped their prices what has the world come to, saving cost reduces quality KMT

Great place, go weekly, could be slightly cheaper but it's not expensive.

Love Asaga! One of my favourite places to go for a quick, cheap and filling meal. Many options for all tastes, authentic food and a clean eating area. I would always recommend Asaga over any other noodle places in the area :)

Not the best anymore, service gone down hill, they have gone really tight on the toppings. Below is my comment from previous visit. Only figured out how to order on my third visit. This time I am served by a gentleman who provided clear and concise explanation. Great service, but be warned food can be lukewarm for some selection.

Food used to be better but still great

Food ready to go so perfect if you are short on time but want to sit down somewhere to eat. Pretty cheap for what you get. Chicken and noodles were pretty good. Vegetables were terrible... I would go back if stuck between trains in Swansea again.

Think this is my new favourite take away! I've never heard of a noodle bars before and I am so glad to have discovered them The noodles were soft and tasty I had the honey chicken and the salt and spicy chicken and they was both delicious. Although, the honey chicken is definitely my favourite. Such yummy flavouring. Can't recommend this place enough! I had the medium box and it filled me all day (and I am a big eater so that's saying a lot)

Excellent noodles restaurant, tried it loved it. It's also have halal chicken. Excellent taste and good staff.

Amazing. Better than chopstix in both value and taste.

I am a long term customer of ASAGA, The food is fine and the portion is always generous. Most of the time, I am served by a skinny boy with the hat on, which is fine. However, I was served yesterday by a taller guy which probably should have his mask on and most importantly learn some customer service etiquette.

Menu slightly confusing to look at at first glance, but once inside everything is explained to you if you're unsure. The food is hot and tasty, and seemingly quite fresh, and portion sizes are good. Reasonable prices and the staff are polite. The restaurant itself is not in great shape, with the paintwork and windows being dated, nothing being particularly clean, and furniture not being the best of quality. Could do with an interior refurbished and better hygiene. But overall a good place to stop for a quick and easy bite to eat.

Best noodle bar in Swansea! Salt and chilli chips were the best. Definitely will be back again

Decided to treat myself to a takeaway on way home from work. Can't fault the food or service. Went for a large box of rice with 3 toppings. Cost £6.50 which is a fare price I will be returning soon 🙂

I had something crawling around for and spent ten minutes throwing up

Really like asagas food and have been a long time customer and usually buy alot but have recently stopped coming like many of our friends also have as we have all noticed that recently they have gotten really tight with the toppings. You get lots of rice or noodles but not much topping at all :( They used to pack the toppings in so you would get lots of noodles and also a good ammount of toppings which made it good value for money but now with the reduced amount of toppings your essentially paying £6 for a box of noodles unfortunately. We used to get noodles and 3 toppings but it seems like you get the same ammount whether you order 1 or 3 toppings now. We now go to other Chinese takeaways and order a box of noodles and a box of Kung po chicken etc as you get much more for just a little extra. Please asaga, go back to how you used to do it and older portions so we can come back! We miss you!

Tried this place for the first time after some recommendations, and I was really impressed! The staff were very helpful and friendly to explain all the options. Excellent value for money - compared to other local options serving similar food. Also, the quality of food was great and really tasty (most important part) 👍🏼

Asaga is one of the best Chinese place. I love all the curry topping that they have.. best service and lovely food

You can choose between rice and noodles or you can have both with a plethora of different toppings to choose from so you will never run out of options. The customer service is wonderful. I have left my bag in the shop by accident and walked out only to have one of the workers to return it to me, which was really helpful. This noodle bar is just outside the bus station so if you are in a rush you can pick up a box and eat it on the go! You are really getting your money’s worth when coming here.

I've heard so many good things about this place so I called in today on my lunch break. Everything I've heard is true, quick, easy and very tasty. I have already reccomend it to colleagues and will definitely be back for more. Hits the spot and an affordable treat.

Received extreme bad customer service from the front male worker. make sure you have mutiple payment options before you go in there' because if for some unknown reason your contactless is not working you will be accused of stealing their £5 food :) we have previously bought food many times from this place with no issue. Their food is fine but the their customer service is shameful. Today we went in bought food and paid everything was fine. When I just about to leave the shop, the male worker came out and said the payment didn't go through. So I told him okay I will go to the car to get money and come back to pay (my car was parked just outside the shop)where he can clearly see. as I was walking to the car he shouted can you leave the food here ......So I told him I’m literally just going to the car to get money my car is right there, and then he said ‘no I don’t know you, can you leave the food here’, I’ve never be treated like this by any restaurant, very rude worker, would never come back again.

Tried for the first time and was impressed. Rice or noodle with a large choice of toppings, several different types of chicken. Good value and good portions. Would give 5 stars but food could have been hotter

Absolutely unbelievably tasty food!! Very friendly staff also, let me try some before choosing which was brilliant. The caramel chicken and the honey chilli chicken is definitely my favourite and go to (won't disappoint!) Great value for money too, they fill the boxes right to the top🤩
