Asado Mediterranean Bistro in Hackney

I just had one of the best meals of my life. I’m staying in Leicester Square and made the long trek through Summer Festival and Euro 2024 traffic and street closures to eat here - worth every minute. Service was wonderful. Ambiance is perfect. Food was brilliant. I had the duck and lamb steak appetizers and the 400gm steak (I intentionally came hungry as I don’t have many kosher restaurants back home). I wouldn’t hesitate to come back the next time I’m in London. Thank you for everything!

Excellent restaurant !! Je recommande a 100% ! N’étant pas une fan de viande j’ai terminé mon plat ! Portion très copieuse et extrêmement goûtues. La viande est tres tendre. Les entrées sont super - je recommande le tacos et l’aubergine. L’entrecôte est une tuerie ! Elle n’est pas grasse du tout. Le service est top, ils font attention à nous :) L’ambiance est tamisé - musique pas trop forte. Un réel plaisir pour dîner en amoureux. Petit bémol le dessert.

We ordered our food, and mysteriously for our party of 6 the chicken disappeared. They lost our order and never apologized really. It did not arrive until an hr and a half later. We also were not compensated for the late food. 3/5 would not recommend.

I have been on the road for work for than two weeks. My wife flew out to meet me in London and we went out for dinner. This was the first meat meal since I was at home so I was really looking forward to it. The carpaccio appetizer was amazing. My wife order lamb chops nice portion but in English fashion where well done. I had the rib eye it was good nice size presented well love the shopper as a knife. Mine was medium rare done right little chewy near the end but over all a solid 8. Desert was cream Brûlée very good.
