Arts House Cafe in Newport

Just a wonderful little oasis of calm tucked away behind the bustle of Newport city. Lovely, lovely friendly, warm people serving great home-cooked vegetarian meals inside what is a peaceful art gallery and picture framing business.

Lovely little church put to good use. Often has very good exhibitions, many of which are of local interest. Has a small cafe area.

Absolutely love this place, popped in for a cuppa and a cheese scone recently…which was just amazing!😋 Such a lovely chilled atmosphere full of beautiful works from local artists. Can also vouch for the art classes with Oriane who is a brilliant teacher! And also the wonderful meditation sessions with Philomema x

Loved the Dahl bowl with Cobbler today but the food is always great and for a great price too. Set in the fabulous Barnabas Arts House this place is hard to beat.
