Really great spot. Great atmosphere and decor. Really tasty food, we had the small plates. Staff are excellent, really friendly. Highly recommend.

Arrived Sunday 07/07/2024 on a bright sunny afternoon. Initially was just for drinks but then decided to have 3 side dishes. The food arrived and was delicious however no fork or knife, no serviettes and no check back. Was slightly disappointed as I’ve heard such good reviews regarding the place 😢

All round excellent, food/ staff/ atmosphere. Best restaurant around. We will be back!

Had a great Sunday lunch here last weekend. The staff were really helpful and accommodated one of our party who has particular food allergies with great consideration and thoughtfulness.

I’m really disappointed to be leaving this review as I try my hardest not to use this app. We visited tonight Friday 12th, tabled booked for 6:45 but apparently it was in their system as 7:45. Who knows who got that wrong ? We stayed and had a few drinks before a meal we had booked else where. Once we had finished our meal we returned for more drinks and were seated at a table. We had ordered some drinks, the question was asked - do you have grey goose ? No, ok so the alternative was absolute and something else - fine. Do you have fresh lime ? No ok maybe I’ll have a pint of mahou instead. At this point the waitress turns and says she thinks I’ve had too much to drink and refused to serve me. Totally gobsmacked to be honest, I knew what I wanted and they couldn’t fulfil my order which is fine but I’m confused as to where the idea I had had to much to drink had come from. Embarrassing from this establishment, first time visiting and will definitely be the last. I’m not an expert by any means but hospitality is struggling massively so maybe so team training wouldn’t go as miss.

Have enjoyed a sharing platter here and then stopped by for a drink this week. Good food, really friendly staff (young waiter with short hair & manager), clean venue & dog friendly in the outside area.

Absolutely dire, inedible Sunday roast beef which was replaced by an equally dire, inedible roast lamb. Substituting meals and reducing our bill isn't the answer. You claim to offer roast from 2pm that are as tough as leather and cold by 3.30pm. This speaks for itself. We are suitably guided.

A late review from the weekend, me and my partner stopped at Arthur’s as I was looking for good roast dinner options as we are new to the area. First impressions when coming was a nice family friendly atmosphere and smiley waiters! Which is always a good sign, I got a beautiful wine which was recommended to me and was perfect choice! Roast dinner was really good, we chose the vegetarian option which was a beetroot wellington compliments to the chef as this was super tasty, I would of appreciated more potato’s but that’s just me being greedy 🫠 Everything was great, our food took slightly longer than normal but nothing of concern and the man who recommended the wine came over and offered us a drink for the inconvenience which I thought was so lovely and noticed so I just want to say extra thank you to him for his amazing customer service, a credit to Arthur’s he was super nice and made our first experience better! We would like to come back and try some of the other dishes, would recommend! Thank you ❤️

Found this little Gem on instagram whilst looking for a local roast dinner. Went for wife’s birthday with kids and family and the place was great. Great food, great wines, great staff and nice vibe. Will definitely be back to checkout more of the menu.

Arrived on time bordered food at 7.45 ordered meal told didnt have what we wanted but could live with that, no mention of any delay after 40 mins asked about food told could be another 20/30 mins so left disappointed as one of our favourite places needless to say will not be going back or recommend to our friends/family

Called in this evening on the off chance after a walk at the beach, lovely friendly staff, great service nice food and drink. Had the Mezze board between 2 of us. Really enjoyed it thank you to the staff on this evening, felt like a nice little Thursday evening post walk treat. Highly recommend.

This is our favourite place. All the staff are always welcoming and the service is excellent. They have a great selection of Food and everything we have tried so far has been excellent especially the pizza, scouse, fish and chips. Last Sunday we tried the roast dinner and it was superb. I don’t like a roast out as I’m always disappointed with the potatoes but they were fantastic and I’d say the best Yorkshire puddings. We will definitely be coming back for a roast again.

What a fantastic wine bar! Came here with my husband for drinks and the bar is absolutely beautiful alongside fantastic staff and service. The place is spotless and a fantastic addition to the Wirral. Will be back time and time again

We selected Tapas dishes for an evening meal and had three each. The food was excellent and very substantial and we'd recommend two each would be ample. The service was great with a warm and friendly welcome. There's also an extensive wine list with plenty of choice.

Visited just before Xmas for my mum's birthday. Service was very friendly and the breakfast was a really good standard. We really enjoyed it and will be back (with our dog next time - great to see this is another dog friendly place).

Its a lovely place to sit and have a lovely meal. But can get very busy as the night goes on so get there early so you get a table x

We’ve just moved to the area and live nearby Arthur’s and it looked really cool and welcoming. It’s a lovely space, very chilled, the breakfast was amazing and the staff are really relaxed and friendly. Definitely recommend it , and of course we’ll be back ‘

I enjoyed my club sandwich, but I was not very impressed with the flat white coffee unfortunately. I'd still be happy to return though.

Visited yesterday 30th October, lunchtime. First visit but won't be my last. We were greeted by a lovely young man who showed us to a table. From then on it was wonderful. Good menu, so much to choose. Service excellent and prices very good. Lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Had a tremendous Sunday Roast today at Arthur’s of Hoylake. Brie triangles for starters were fabulous and the Roast Beef main course with Yorkshire pudding, broccoli, roast potatoes and carrot and swede was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection including the apple crumble for desert. Great value, service and the atmosphere was lovely on a wet October afternoon. Will definitely be back and can highly recommend.

Lovely Lunch at Arthur’s. Although the menu is limited the small plates we ordered were delicious and we couldn’t fault them. The service was good and the place is spotless which is a big thumbs up from me.

We sat outside on a cool Autumnal Sunday morning and the servers were amazing! Brought free watee out for the dog and they were so friendly. Coffee good too!

Me and a few friends popped into Arthur’s the other day just by hearing it was a new place in the nearby area. We had an absolutely lovely waitress (dark hair and glasses?) who made sure drinks were quick and took the time to answer a few questions about the food aswell! The food she helped suggest ended up being absolutely delicious. The manager made sure we were well looked after. Was very impressed with the impeccable service and delicious food and price. Will definitely be back!

Amazing night out for drinks and food with the girls! A lot of choice on the menu ( I am vegetarian and I didn’t struggle to find stuff! ) Atmosphere was amazing staff were very helpful and friendly, was nice to see the staff also enjoying themselves and making the overall experience a lot better! Great ambiance within the space, with candles lit throughout the evening and fitting music at a good level. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were happy to help with everything. We tried the breakfast on one day which was divine. We’ve also been back for the small plates menu which is just delicious would highly recommend!!

Great atmosphere, nice aesthetics and good outdoor seating. Service good although waitress asked us twice if we were ready to order, we were waiting for another person, when she did take an order were told 45 minute wait, probably could have highlighted wait for food a bit earlier cos we were ravenous. Cheeseboard- good amount of cheese but no where near enough crackers which wasvery apparent as soon as it was served, £2.50 for 8 extra crackers is a tad unfair on top of an already a relatively expensive cheeseboard (£18). I feel most places can stretch to a few extra crackers without unnecessary charge. Food so so- chicken nuggets with pieces of chilli on top and chicken nuggets in peanut sauce!

Very disappointed, had to wait 25 minutes for 2 coffees after asking twice. No breakfast available even though the menu said breakfast available till 1pm.

We recently visited Hoylake for The Open Golf Championship and we found this place on the first day of our visit which was great because it was so nice we visited every day for the week we were in Hoylake. The food was really good, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner during our various visits. There’s an excellent selection of beers, wines and spirts too. The staff in the bar are amazing, all of them are first class and very attentive, friendly and good fun. I would definitely recommend this place and if I lived in Hoylake it would definitely be my ‘local’. Thanks to all the staff for a fabulous week!!

Popped Sunday 2nd July after walking up from West Kirby. Although not a traditional menu for a Sunday lunch, it was very welcome. Delicious food served, all felt fresh and flavoursome. Good Price in relation to the portions, not to mention an excellent selection of beers, as well as other drinks! Highly recommend for an evening with some sharer platters(our table neighbours had some) as these looked incredible! Beautifully done too, and felt nice and relaxed! Will definitely be returning!

Had such a lovely experience here, all the staff are really friendly and attentive. The manger Jordan honestly goes above and beyond to give everyone great customer service, he really took care of everything we needed! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great too!

Lunch time menu was bad especially for those who have allergies, expensive for what you got, should at least have soup on the lunch time menu, bread for sandwiches was just like cardboard, I know they have just opened but sorry there needs a lot of improvement.

Had a really upsetting experience here on Saturday,was asked to move to the back of the bar when we sat in a booth to accomadate the fact i suffer from severe rheumatism i am quite young to suffer from this and dont want to draw attention to myself(the bar was nearly empty inside )to accommodate larger groups,none of which arrived or used the booth,which then got perched on by two men as soon as we moved,whom were not moved.Felt really humiliated and embarrassed so we paid for our drinks and left.Very sad and put a downer on our day,thankyou.

Great place and atmosphere, food is delicious have tried a few dishes now and value for money. Love what they have done with the place too. Been here every weekend since opening and long May this continue. Manager is great welcomes everyone and personally speaks to everyone too. If you haven’t tried Arthur’s yet you need to!

The food was beautiful and service really lovely and friendly. The only thing that was disappointing was they allowed smoking outside so we had smoke wafting past as we were eating which was unpleasant, but I will definitely be returning and trying out many more items on their menu. Would highly recommend.

The decor, food and drink are excellent. The manager is awful. I went for my birthday and said a number of people were coming. He sat me down - not even allowing me a drinks order - and explained to me his rules (his words). Later another party arrived and because some were parking a car, the first person to arrive sat down, ordered 2 bottles of prosecco, and held the seats. The manager came and shouted at her and then took me out of the restaurant onto a seat in the street to threaten me with being thrown out for this other persons behaviour. She wasn't even with me. And it was my birthday. He is a rude control freak. And I won't even start on how he spoke to his staff. In short none of my party will be returning while he remains manager

Fantastic food. We had three small plates all were of highest quality especially the calamari. We enjoyed a bottle of Primitivo between us and again of the highest standard. In fact I am writing this review on our second visit but bitterly disappointed that no Primitivo available. Obviously too good. The staff were impeccable.

Brilliant new place this. It's been done out to a really high spec with seating outside that gets the sun. Big selection of drinks. I only had a bit of food but what I had was good. Thought the staff were dead friendly too. Great to have a place like this locally.
