Simply the best friendly run family Thai restaurant for miles around. Their menu is extensive and more importantly food excellent. This is our favourite restaurant in Clacton by far!

We had a really great meal & experience here, the food is so good, staff are just so lovely, & the atmosphere was just right. Vegetarian dishes were so good, all dishes fairly priced too! Highly recommend & will be returning again.

My friend and I had an absolutely mega delicious dinner on Sunday the 11th Feb :-) Everything was cooked and tasted to perfection ! Went to Aroy last night Sunday. Was very impressed, very friendly staff, nice decor, the food was excellent and service was really good too. Will definitely be returning.

This place is great for a night out, staff are very welcoming, very friendly. Food was absolutely amazing and the price wasn't bad at all. Definitely will return. If you live locally or on holiday i would recommended you wont be disappointed 👌

A very good experience. Food authentic Thia and a bottle of Chablis at £25 is excellent value for money. It’s cash only which is a pain and not necessary with low card charged however I can highly recommend . Food is great

Was looking forward to visiting this restaurant last weekend but what a disappointment. I booked a table for 4 as I thought a Saturday night would be busy but when we arrived there was only another couple of tables taken. This didn't make the atmosphere that great. Ordered 9 dishes and only found one that was OK. The main problem was the quality of the chicken which did not taste fresh or have a good texture. I lived in Thailand for sometime and although was not expecting the same level of food, I know what the dishes should taste like. I would say don't waste you money and cook it yourself.

Just returned from a friend’s 70th birthday celebration this afternoon. Food was decent but I was charged £11 for 2 pints of Diet Coke! I was too shocked and embarrassed to ask. Surely that overpriced?

Late dinner after the Theatre. Was able to sit down late 10:30 on a Saturday night for 4 people. We were the last customers but felt very welcome and not rushed. The food was proper authentic and brought back many memories of the land of smiles. Nice owners.

Came across this place by chance when attending a wedding over the weekend. Staff were friendly and very helpful pointing out which meals our granddaughter could have as a vegan. Food was delicious with my son-in-law saying that his meal (chicken tikka madras) was the best he'd ever had! Reasonably priced. If ever that way again would definitely go and eat again.

You need to go inside restaurant for the take away menu. Beautiful food.

Having read the reviews and having been recommended by two locals we were excited about the prospect of our visit. Sadly the event was disappointing. The food was far too overheated and by that, I don't mean the temperature I mean the spices. My Pad Ta Krai (advertised as Medium) was smothered in strong soy and most unpleasant...it was far too strong and my wife's Mee Go Leng was similarly far too heavy with curry. It was also supposedly 'Medium'. So readers if you don't want your mouth burned don't eat here. By the way its cash only NO CREDIT CARDS

We visited the restaurant two days in a row, the food is excellent. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. The only downside is they only take debit cards and not cash or credit cards.

This was our 4th visit. Small intimate. Food excellent. Service and attention very good. Food so tasty and fresh. By far the best Thai restaurant in the Clacton area that we have visited. My husband believes its the best Thai food he has ever had.

Food was average, the waitress was abrupt and a little over priced for basic food.

I love Thai food. There's a few places in the area that do it really well, this one is one of the best. Everyone is so nice, and they'll make sure you really have everything you want. Also, don't sleep on the broccoli side dish, it's amazing.

We had a delicious meal this September evening on a one-off trip down from London. Fresh, great flavours and very friendly service. The morning glory, grown organically locally was a real standout. Clacton’s lucky to have such an outstanding restaurant.

We were well looked after by lovely family who run this place with great food and cosy atmosphere. Well worth seeking it out and we ate here twice in one week. Recommend.

Hidden away slightly but well worth hunting out. The menu isn't the biggest I've seen but the food was fresh and of a high quality with a good selection of drinks. The family that own it were really friendly. It is cash only.

The food is freshly prepared and presented well. The staff are helpful and friendly.. My advice is choose your starter carefully as the shared platter is definitely not value for money.. Alittle too expensive for what you get

Apart from the soup, other dishes are fine. The tom yam is way too sour that it covered the spicy flavor. The coconut soup is not creamy enough. However, the squid is quite crispy and fresh. The main dishes are okay in taste and in good portion.

A lovely restauratnt with excellent and authentic Thai food. Staff are delightful, friendly and efficient. Just to correct a previous review, they do take payment by card. Wide choice on the menu and all items that we have tried have been delicious.
