We loved the takeaway food at Aroma :total Desi, the mutton and chicken Kadai was tasty my family enjoyed the meal specially my son. Glad to know we have a place to count on for Indian food.

Delectable food with great different tastes. Highly recommend the Paneer Pakora and their naans with Dhal Makhmi. Space and table size can be fixed though. Overall highly recommended for eating with a Indian standard in mind

The most discriminating Indian restaurant I have come across, the staff were rubbish, inattentive and no customer service skills and authentic is over rated, no Punjabi vibe , the owner should be ashamed of themselves

Went to this place by rating of Google. Food was very much ok types. Nothing exceptional or extraordinary. Paapad was smelling of fried in bad oil and not fresh. The mild gravies like butter paneer and chicken were also very spicy. Kofta was like very dry not fresh and just poured in gravy. Rest of the food was ok. There was a girl and boy as staff. Boy still had little communication with customers but the girl was behaving as if she is at her own home rather than restaurant. While serving bread to us we noticed at least 6-7 times she is opening her hair and tying it and then with the same hand picked up bread and served us which i felt is not the professional way. Not bothered about customers was just busy chit chatting with another person with absolutely weird behaviour. I mean I do not expect such behaviour from staff. She was least bothered of people sitting around and lost in her own world also eating food in between and then again joining back to serve. Not against staff eating or anything but her actions were absolutely unacceptable as a waitress. Very unhygienic …should be told rather than putting make up and standing there doesnt serve the people should learn some manners to work in this industry. Nothing against her as she didnt misbehave with us but talking about body language of waiting staff in restaurant. Do not understand how it has been rated 4.7 , not worth at all. There are much better restaurants around with good hospitality good food, and professionalism. Will not go again and do not recommend.

Without doubt the best Indian food that we have had . The fish pakora - unreal . The 3 curries we ordered were ridiculously good - prawn bhuna, chicken jalfezi and chicken tikka masala. Mixed grill was banging !

We have just had the most delicious meal here. I had the Lamb Achari which was probably the best curry I have ever had. The service was exemplary. Our waitress was informative and attentive. The fact you are given poppadoms and dips (these were also delicious) as a complimentary extra when you arrive is a great added bonus.

Took my kids on a Friday evening as my son insists on panni purri chat and it is hard to find locally! This was his bday treat. Reserved a table and good job I did as the place filled up fast. Lovely restaurant and environment to eat in. Great background music. Spotlessly clean toilet. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. They care about the service and the food. The quality is amazing. For starters we had papdi chat, panni purri chaat and fish pakora. All amazing, the fish pakora was recommended and did not disappoint. Mains we had chicken tikka masala, lamb achari, chicken vindaloo and loads of bread and rice. The portions are very good sized the quality is amazing. Also we got the onion bhajis which are the best we have tasted. Throughout the meal the staff checked on us and and gave 5 star service. The lamb dish maybe the best I've ever had in an Indian. The lamb was tender and soft. Also very nice to have lager on draft, not many in Gravesend do! The bill reflected the quality and was good value. Even gave me a complementary brandy which went down well! Thanks for looking after me and my kids, we will be back!!!

Today me and me friend travelled 15 minutes to get onion Bajis it was 5 pounds for 2 very very small ones which is one portion the man told us they was big when we asked how big it is but the waiter lied about the size and scammed us it was very small I will never go again

Specifically ordered the dish mild turned up very chilly after sending back it came back the same chilli then told nothing can be done tk make it mild.... then waited 15/20 min for a forgotten orderd chapatti while my food went cold. Charged for doubles for single drinks. Owner/staff busy doing shots while customers waiting and come second. Very disappointing. Won't be going back!!!!

I have ordered takeaways several time from this place and was never disappointed with the quality of food ,so decided to place a catering order and was hugely disappointed with the service as the person at the counter was quoting another price to what was agreed on the phone with Harris.Then the order was not up to standard ,did not acknowledge the requests made regarding the order .I would not recommend catering service to anyone but takeaway food is different & good.I guess Chef doing both services are different.

Food was nice with good customer service and reasonable prices, though they took ages to serve the food. The key downside was , they have quite a small space and the group near our table was quite loud/noisy

I have been coming here since 3 years and have got several parties arranged through Aroma. Everything I have got excellent service and delicious food. Quality of food always amazes and reminds of actual authentic Indian punjabi food. Great job done by the chefs, Mini , Seema and whole staff. And ofcourse to मगर praji !!!!

Aroma is an exceptionally well run restaurant. I was staying in the vacinity for a week and have tried their Bhuna Gosht, Saag Gosht and Qeema mattar ... All made very well and authentic taste. Their kheer and gajrela was awesome. Their staff is courteous, friendly and welcoming. True Punjabi hospitality!

Came here for the first time on the evening of Diwali. The food was incredible, every dish tasted really individual and it was so fresh and flavoursome. The staff were lovely, attentive and helpful. Best Indian in Gravesend in my opinion, and the best I’ve had for a long time, even compared to some great London ones.

I have been going to this restaurant for a very long time and also introduced some friends who are regulars at this place. We ordered a take away on 29/09 and collected the order got home and checked that two of the items where missing and called them Straight away and spoke to someone who said you can come and collect it now or you can collect it next time. Which I said I will do so today I called them as I feel like having a take away and when spoke to someone they said there is no note of missing food and we can not help you. It’s shocking that I missed £34.40 worth of food and when trying to claim it back I can’t . You have just lost a customer and probably a few more. If you decide to get back to me to offer the missing food please just give it to a homeless and show me a proof you done that.

We got chicken and mutton biryani, both AMAZING. Bit spicy for child, but taste so good many aromatic flavor inside I think it was one of my best biryani in UK. Good atmosphere and staffs were nice too. Deff we gonna come back!!

We used Aromas catering service for our birthday event. The overall experience of finalising the menu to event day was great. Raman was very flexible and gave right suggestions. All our guest loved the food . Kadi pakoda and kheer in desserts were outstanding. Kids loved the noodles and Manchurian . We also hired services of two helpers who helped set up the food tables and serving food . Both of them were kind and super helpful. Many thanks Raman and team . Will definitely be visiting your restaurant and looking forward to hire you in our next event😊

Never knew this place existed until a quick Google search for Punjabi restaurants near me. WOW! What a gem of a place this is. Mouthwatering, tasty, delicious food 😋 Chutneys were unique in taste, delicious with poppadoms. Well presented restaurant & easy to locate. Parking is a bit of a pain but nothing too serious. Excellent service too. Overall a very, very good experience. I definitely recommend this place 👌🏾

We visited this little gem in Gravesend, which came on recommendation. I must say, it was our first and most certainly won’t be our last. The food was absolutely delicious, tasty & of good quality. With the added bonus of a warm welcome & friendliness of the staff, we highly recommend this restaurant & look forward to returning again soon.

We had a wedding reception at Elite and Aroma were the caters (6th May). The food was absolutely amazing!!!! The guests were fully complementary to the food and they kept saying they were soo full because they kept having refills. Thank you soo much to the team and the amazing food. We will be ordering from them again!

This place looked very good at the start when I walked in and I must say, it exceeded my expectations, food was delicious and arrived in good time. The seating was good and the staff were very nice and helpful, I would definitely recommend this place to whoever is looking to eat at a punjabi restaurant and or just eat anything delicious. 5 stars from me

Went here last week with the family. Superb restaurant. Everything is very flavoursome. Service is good, they were fully booked, and still squeezed us in. Recommend the goat curry and jeera rice.

What an amazing ambience, food was simply mind boggling. Being an Indian, I was craving for some authentic Indian food and this place, Aroma of Punjab, just MADE MY DAY… I had the veg starter platter, Chole Bature and Veg biriyani which was all authentic and flavourful. I highly recommend if anyone is craving for authentic Punjabi food in and around gravesend.

A group booking of 18 should not have been accepted; disorganised and a long wait for cold food that had to be sent back to be reheated. Sad to write this as I really wanted to enjoy the evening… I shall not return :(

Had a meal last Thursday with some friends and the food was absolutely lovely, service was great too from all the waiters. Booking in advance recommended, all tables were occupied the duration we were in the restaurant.

Wonderful food. Very tasty, probably amongst the best in gravesend. The customer service is awful however. They lie on the phone, they claim Deliveroo is on when it’s not. Their menu says £25 for delivery but when you call they say £30. We’ve asked about this and they said it will be fixed- but it has not been yet. The main waiter/manager can be a little rude at times. It such a shame as all the food is wonderful. The service when you eat in however is much better.

Great food we had Aroma cater for a my husbands 50th birthday with over 250 guest and the food was amazing, the compliments we received from people about how tasty the food was and how they will start using Aroma. We have ordered a few times at home and visited the restaurant and have not been disappointed on any occasion. 109% recommended Aroma to everyone.

Absolutely amazing Punjabi food! Tried the makke ki roti with Sarsong ka saag, Tadka Dal, channa, shahi paneer! Very authentic Punjabi taste. Finger licking delicious. Good portions, decent price, fresh and lovely ambiance, wonderful service. £78 for 3 of us , not bad at all! Will definitely visit and spread the word!

Went there yesterday at 6pm, for father's day. The food was lovely and the waiter was very friendly. However, after we finished our dinner , we were looking forward to having dessert or a cup of tea.But we were basically kicked out. The waiter said that it's full house today, and that our table is booked for another family. Never experienced this in any restaurant before! I asked for a cup of tea for me and my family of 4 , he said I'm not sure that my chef can as he's busy. His manager basically said we have to go because another family is coming. Slightly ruined the evening! Not sure I will be going back there..

We went to Aroma for a joint birthday and anniversary. We had a three course meal and ordered from the Specials menu. Absolutely delicious. Aroma is the right name for this restaurant as the chef certainly delivers amazing food. Very balanced flavours, serving food that smells and looks as good as it tastes. One of the best Indian meals I have had in Gravesend. The waiting staff were a little inexperienced but were absolutely lovely. They were very attentive and friendly. I have subsequently ordered x2 takeaway meals. Did not disappoint. Equally as delicious as the in restaurant meal. I sincerely hope, as this restaurant becomes super popular (it will, the food is too good), it keeps up the standards. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

This was our first visit tonight and we will surely be visiting again. The food was lovely and the taste is authentic. The decor is very nice and set's a pleasant atmosphere where you can have an enjoyable evening meal. You must try the Fish Pakora's!!! This is one of the best Fish Pakora's we have had in a long time. I am giving 5 stars for the food quality and taste, but there is some minor improvements required which would boost this restaurant to 5 stars. 1) Please have more than 1 high chair available, otherwise it can cause some difficulties with younger children. But, thank you for offering the high chair whilst it was available. 2) Please put handrails on the wall when going downstairs to the washroom. Good customer service and a warm welcome. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Went here last night for a celebration The manager was very kind, offering a free Prosecco bottle and the food was delicious, proper Punjabi tasting food. The young waiter was also very good.
