Customer service is bang on. Taking care of you like family. Safe place for all type of people. Great !!!!

I asked if they had ice pipes and they didn't, but Milad (a staff member) offered me his own ice pipe he had in the back. I thought that was really nice of him. he really didn't had to do that but he did! :) Overall the customer service was fantastic! they also had a Dj that played really good music! Argeela if you reading this please offer ice pipes to customers! :)

I hadn't got such a good burger in a long time. The ambience is really nice as well. We had a good time.

My boyfriend messaged the company on Instagram and asked to book a booth for 8pm monday, he was told that was fine and it was booked. We arrived there at 7:45, we was told there wasn’t a booth available yet because it wasn’t 8pm but if we waited 15 mins we would be seated in one, which is understandable because we arrived early. Half an hour later we still wasn't in a booth, we repeatedly asked when one would be available because we already pre booked and we kept being told to wait. It then got to 8:30 and we still wasn’t seated in a booth, I went to the till and spoke to who I think may have been the manager. Instead of being understanding and admitting they was wrong he basically blamed me saying ‘well we need booths for bigger groups’ (two of the four booths were occupied by 2 people in each so that makes zero sense). He then said can you share a booth and I said no because we booked one and it’s not my problem that you have made a mistake. I could understand if they admitted they were wrong but they were acting like the complete opposite, like we were inconveniences. An HOUR later we were seated in a booth by one member of staff who was the politest and helpful out of everyone there. Poor customer service, I don’t recommend wasting your time going here.

Honestly one of the worst customer service experiences ever. They kicked us out half an hour before their actual closing time. When I asked why.. was told they need time to clean!! Full of loud noisy kids. No consideration for customer experience. Not going back ever!!!

Good vibes and music but awful service. Staff were rude and unhelpful i wouldn’t recommend this lounge to anyone down to the bad service.

Went here with 5 mates. The food was cold and horrible, spoke to management who said there is nothing that can be done. Do not go here. The worst lounge in Birmingham in terms of service. P. S. Have a word with the freshy behind the counter, poor service and I will not be returning.

Argeela has generally provided good customer service but one member of staff always goes the extra mile to make sure visiting Argeela is a pleasant experience. He usually has a hat glasses and apron on and is either the first to greet you or provide customer service after being seated. Always willing to help and never gets annoyed with me moaning about the pipe!! Already looking forward to my midweek visit

I would like to draw upon my latest visit here. Myself and my friends are regular goers to this lounge, yet we have not been as disappointed we were on our latest visit. We went on a busy weekend, excited to make our return after the long lockdown period. We queued for approximately 30-40 minutes, which is expected at a busy lounge. However, it is what we experienced from the queue which was the start of a disappointing night. First of all, the staff member who was seating people, (hat, kitchen apron and glasses), also known as “the host” to any establishment, was from from it. Basic mannerisms in any business would consist of smiling, interacting and welcoming customers. This seems to be an ask too far at Argeela. Instead “the host” will be seen running from the seating areas to the queue, clearly stressed out and rubbing that energy onto customers. Let’s not forget, as paying customers, we are there to have fun. Not to take on your stress about your job, clearly too much for you to handle. Once we got our table, we went to the bar to order, which is the usual procedure. Once again, the member of staff behind the counter lacked any social skills, never mind customer service skills. As an employee catering towards customers, it is the role of management to ensure staff are engaging in conversation and making the experience, an experience to remember. Small gestures go a long way. However, it seemed, once again, any customer interaction was a step too much to ask for. Then we got our shisha pipes. The first of which was harsh from the get go, we complained numerous times only to be told it is fine in an angry manner with nothing done to rectify it. The second one began to get harsh shortly after too, once again, staff deemed it fine, even though everyone was coughing. The people next to us tried it and started coughing as well. We waited an hour for our first round of coal change, this still didn’t fix the harsh, coaly shisha pipes and we decided to leave. The music here was also atrocious. With no DJ on a weekend, they have been repeating the same songs off TikTok and the same Arabic songs that a bunch of guys were shouting to. Notes to be take away; provide at least basic customer service skills to staff. Put social distancing measures in place, 100 people in the queue with no guidance, distancing in place, is not safe, squeezing people in for profits is not helping us.

I visited the lounge on Monday, I was served by a man with glasses on the bar forget about customer service skills, this man barely had any social skills. He was incredibly RUDE AND STUPID , to the point that he was confused as to how to use the tills. Then we sat down, I asked more than one member of staff if the lounge had any heating, as it was EXTREMELY COLD inside. The man who bought out my shisha to me barely spoke a word of English, however when I asked if there was anything that could be done about the heating he offered to put the coal basket next to me. What a CHEAP place! They cannot afford their heating bills! When I went to the bar to see why the drink I had ordered was taking so long to arrive, the staff were more interested in IGNORING me and dancing around the bar, than to serve me. The strawberry mojito I had ordered tasted like I was drinking sugar in water, it was DISGUSTING!. The music in the lounge is changing every minute, they will play Arabic music, then they are changing it to DEPRESSING MUSIC, they will even change the song in between the songs. The shisha was HARSH, VILE AND REVOLTING! It didn't taste like peach, pomegranate and raspberry. I could not stop COUGHING when I was smoking the shisha. There was no one there to check on the shisha pipe even after I COMPLAINED lots of times and no one changed the coal even once. When someone finally came, he took my shisha pipe away and gave me frozen blueberry and raspberry to smoke. I don't know which shisha was WORSE! This was also HARSH AND DISGUSTING! Argeela has the most RUBBISH shisha you will ever get! On the Argeela intagram page they have advertised they are giving free disposable pipes, when I asked for one they told me their pipes are new so I don't need one! Clearly this is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I am very DISAPPOINTED with my visit, which is a SHAME because the lounge itself is very nice. However the customer service is RUBBISH! If you are wanting to see a CLOWN SHOW please go visit Argeela there are lots of them dancing around the bar!

Had a lovely night with friends. Waiter found out it was my friend’s birthday and brought over a free complementary dessert with a sparkler. They also played a birthday song for my friend upon bringing the dessert.

Good Food but separate places for differ people which I found very strange. Very Good Atmospheric Though.

We’re regular customers here and we have found that the house DJ continuously plays the same music week in and week out. In fact, it is the same playlist that he plays leaving us to know exactly what is playing next. Due to the music being on repetition it has led myself and my friends and other customers I know to explore other lounges. We have just been to Argeela to with a big group of friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve. However we were disappointed to see the same DJ play the same music and playlist that he plays every weekend. We went to celebrate this occasion as a part of the lounge as we are regular customers. However we were disappointed once again to learn that the DJ was not responding to the customers and did not make any announcements on this special occasion nor did he do a count down for this occasion. In fact it was left to us, the customers to look at our phones and watches to see it was midnight to cheer to celebrate the new year. We are very disappointed at the DJ poor efforts especially on such a joyous night. We will be returning but we hope you the management take our feedback into consideration and make necessary changes.
