Well it's been over 6 months since I last ordered a pizza.last one costing me over £30., which was fine lots of toppings etc. Fast forward to tonight more for less the same toppings, all I could taste was... salt, salt and more salt. Cheap toppings especially the Donna meat, £31 down the drain. Goodbye Antons.... oh the chips were oven type rubbish. .

A review of this place is long overdue. When I'm taking a break from other favoured takeaways like a Chinese and decide on pizza this is the place I think of. I've had domino's and all the rest but we've been going to Anton's for our pizza for about a decade. I don't often get thin crust but from what I can remember it's still delicious; we usually get deep-pan. A 14" large create your own with a few toppings of our choice and a cheesey garlic bread and cheesey fries was our order on Sunday. We split it all between 3 of us and it was more than enough and came to only £25. Places like domino's are more popular so have these appealing deals and adverts but Anton's despite being a smaller business are still fair. If you spend over £15 and order before 19:30 this entitles you to two free small kids meals that can include either a burger and fries, chicken nuggets and fries or a small pizza and one topping of choice and they usually throw in a free drinks carton too. It may not seem like much to some, but we've certainly always appreciated it. If you go to Anton's in person it's essentially just a unit inbetween other things but that doesn't matter too much, there's ample parking and the place is nice enough inside. The service let's it down because almost all the people who work there, without seeming disrespectful, are a bit miserable especially the tall younger lad whether it's over the phone or in person it's like he doesn't want to be there. We didn't take any pictures because I always forget but it's pizza good enough to have the next day hot or cold!

Ordered mushroom pizza and garlic bread due to being vegetarian, received a meat feast pizza instead of mushroom, so cannot be eaten, garlic bread was lovely as always cannot complain about that, but when tried to call restaurant maybe 10+ times, kept saying “line busy” and it was like this for 15 minutes, terrible service today from a place I usually enjoy, will rethink my options next time after this

This place use to slap. But can't believe what I've just been delivered. Donner meat was microwaved like out of a bag stuff, the taste was awful they can't tell me they have a kebab roti there because the quality of meat was awful. Garlic bread was some burnt calzone, no idea if it was garlic bread as it had no taste at all. Pizza was burnt and not made fresh not sure why the pizza had the strangest tasting sauce but there you go. The fries was nice and the only thing edible. Place as gone from a 10/10 To a -10/10.

Have been ordering from antons every now and then for the last 13/14 years and all I can say is I will not be using them any more. Ordered two doner and chips, jalapeño poppers, garlic bread and cheese and a bottle of Pepsi max. The only decent edible thing was the garlic bread. The kebab was thrown together with dried out meat. You would have been better ordering beef jerky and throwing that on the plate, the jalapeño poppers were very disappointing So for over £30.00 you get decent garlic bread and Pepsi max!!! Would love a refund but I doubt they would even look at these reviews.

Awful service took 3 hours for the food to come. We asked for a refund before the food come and cancel the order which they agreed. They then delivered the food then told us you have the food which was cold so we can’t refund you. Asked to speak to the manager but got told he’s busy even though I could hear him laughing in the back ground

Ended up having dihorrrea from the pizza avoiding here from now on Need to think about food safety

Not a fresh pizza 🦠no slapping nothing …all the way from freezer and its look like a bunch of retired football players with no clue about customer service 🫡

Garlic bread is one of my faves in Warrington with its soft folded bread and a little bit sweet! Can take a while to be delivered as they usually are busy but is worth the wait

Had for first-time tonight two pizzas and really liked it think yes it is long wait for food 40 min however really nice we will be back to order again 😀 ordered by ringing up was better value then just eat

Chilli n garlic ribs and the cheesy garlic bread are really on another level, I've used this place for over 20,s and it gets better. Lovely food.. 💯💯

Can't ever complain about Antons, cheese garlic bread is to die for.

Great service and great food. Tonight the driver asked if we had children, which we have 2 below 6yrs. He then went back to his car to bring back 2 little goodie bags with fruit and sweets in. The kids were made up and it was a lovely touch. Top job fella. Sorry I didn’t ask for his name.

Love this place, friendly staff. I drive from Widnes to collect our pizzas! Highly recommended, especially the Genoa pizza.

2 hours late. Rang to cancel, told already on way. Arrived and fries missing, from pizza and fries! Ordered previously over the the past and been good to ok. But never again. Avoid!

Love the kebabs from here, the garlic bread with cheese is on another level too and the pizza is miles better than papa johns. However I strongly recommend to pick up as delivery can take an awful long time leading to soggy food (sometimes) not worth the gamble.

Order was around 1hr late when it came I wasn’t impressed. The filling slid off the base, had about 2 pieces of pepperoni, the chilli beef was not spicy at all and the cheesy garlic bread was awful, more like a cheese calzone with zero garlic flavour. It wasn’t great that it was late but would have forgiven that if it was worth the wait. £15 straight in the bin

I order to the extreme. Say a 14" with everything on pizza. OMG. better than New York. Forget the commercial sh.t.Antons has them in a corner.

Very bad experience ordered food at 6:30 then rang them 4 times between 7:30-20:00 and they spoke to me very rude saying it was on its way and then rang me at 8:30 saying they had only just found our receipt. First time experience and I definitely won’t be going back. Still waiting for my refund on a £40 order.

Used to love this place Tonight it took 2 hours to arrive after stating ‘up to an hour’ Chips tasted reheated .. cheese was cheap !! Pizza was undercooked .. This is third time it hasn’t been great ! Think they take too many orders these days !!! Time for a new place I think !!

One of the best pizza in town, but their bacon-cheese wedges is definitely worth a visit. It's always a treat. This time I took it to my friends in St Helens because they don't deliver there and they were craving it since they moved out from Warrington 3 years ago. They were satisfied and nostalgic. Quality food for delivery or takeout.

I have never been spoken to so atrociously over the phone in my life. The guy told me to look out my window at the weather and asked if I had seen the traffic and that is why my delivery was going to be an hour late. It’s a clear night, no rain (pic attached), my partner has just been out in the car and the traffic is fine, not that that matters as they are less than 2 miles away. He said if I had an issue with timings that I have to take it up with JustEat!!! WHAT??? Customer Service has just disappeared. Don’t you worry “pal” (as he kept calling me), I will be doing and I will be complaining about the way you spoke to me over the phone too.

Went to Antons last night, not been here for 15 years, I soon remembered why. Standard pizza will bland toppings. I had deep pan and my Mrs had thin crust...both had to be re-cooked at home due to being soggy. I had the Genoa but of the 4 meat toppings I could only taste the Pepperoni. Ordered a "large" fries as "large" is the only option...that just makes it "fries", especially when it fits in a single burger container...not large at all. Can't wait to never go again. To anyone who says this is the best pizza around I feel sorry for your very limited world view. Also not wearing masks, and only sign of social distancing is a piece of cardboard on the floor. This review was written during the pandemic, but I had to edit it as my one star rating had somehow been increased to two???

Food is always bang on. The cheesey garlic bread is something else from there 😋. Staff behind the counter are very polite and decent enough to say thankyou for purchasing their food. Only downfall is the phoning through for your order.... usually a young person who's not very well educated on telephone etiquette.

They charged me different prices for the same pizza depending who was serving. I voted with my feet. Too much grease anyway.

Chips taste like soggy cardboard and to be honest i'm not a fan of soggy cardboard.

Placed an order that should of been here at 11.55 and never arrived. Absolute joke of a company and will never use again!!!!!!!

Not bin in a while, and pizza was bang on.

Ordered a pizza from Antons Warrington at 4.45pm to be delivered for 7.30pm never got delivered until after 8pm!! Rang spoke to a young guy whose fault it wasn't asked him if I could speak to his boss about this only to be told he wouldn't come to the phone he was to busy!! Never again Antons will I order a Luke warm pizza from you that took over 2 hours to cook! Your customer service Mr boss man from yourself is not even worth commenting on!!

Didn't read the very simple instructions on facebook about how to target their adverts, and consequently ended up spamming people hundreds of miles away from their business. Probably equally incompetent in all other fields too.

Toppings were stingy,guy on phone was abrupt when said I asked for no sweet corn he asked in a very rude tone “ where did you put that on your order”. I tried to think what part off the order it was, also when I said I asked for bacon on the pizza I got “ I made the pizza myself and put it on “ ok fair enough it was on when I got out my magnifying glass I saw it, ok I am sorry.? Used to be really nice not the antons I knew !

Best garlic bread and pizza I've tasted. None of the oily bases you usually get elsewhere. Pepperoni didn't have any oily residue. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend ❤

I have been an antons customer since the early days and used around three times per week. I recently ordered food on just eat from them, my order was accepted. I received a call 10 minutes after the order while I was waiting for my food, to tell me that I needed to spend extra money on hot food before they would deliver, this should not have been the case because my order was accepted and paid for online. I will now have no food and will need to arrange a refund through just eat and arrange another take away STEER CLEAR PEOPLE BAD COMPANY

Always polite service at the counter, food is always delicious, right portion sizes in my opinion, garlic bread with cheese and the pizza's are the nicest around compared to other places. Delivery has always been on time no problems with attitudes of the drivers always polite like the staff and always smiling

Food was 40 mins late. They asked a customer to deliver the food for them for a free pizza. They only cooked it when we rang to complain about the lateness. Very over prices 4.10 for 4 small peices of chicken. Food was nice when it finally came but small for the price

Ordered before and was really nice, this time it was complete differnt inc the cheese, the garlic bread was hard, the mayo was lumpy and the donner had hard bits in, Plus it took well over an hour to come!

By far and away the best take away pizza I have ever eaten (and the Juventus - WOW ), even on the very odd occasion that their pizza doesnt hit a 10/10 its still a better pizza than all the competitions.And the guys are great guys too - so all good. Looked for 6 star but couldnt find it.

Absolutely shocking service. First of all an hour and 20mins wait after being told 15-20mins. Then we received the and incorrect order and after waiting another 30mins we were told that the rest of the order would be out in 15mins. After explaining that we were not impressed we got the reply "whatever". We did receive our complete order 2hours after the first phone call!
