Being local this is one of favourite places to go, we are aware they are "dog friendly". What was so disappointing yesterday is that for a small place there were THREE dogs in it and not under the table (which is meant to the rule)... One retriever was really large and would never have been anywhere near to fitting under the table. As I'm extremely allergic we left. I was ill after what should have been a pleasant start to the day. As our nieces are scared stiff of dogs it's also off our places to go list when we have them visit. Aside from the unhygienic matter of dogs around food, there's the fear factor for some and allergy factor for others. I know people with dogs think they are owed a living and treat them like humans.... But they're not human , they still lick their asses, they smell and their hair does shed..... All in places people are paying to eat!!! We won't be back.

The food at this carvery is probably the nicest of any Toby’s that I have tried. Great quality meat. Lovely roast potatoes. The young staff who served us were so nice and pleasant. Just one goon is the fly in the ointment. I’m sure you know who he is. Maybe a bit less full of himself!

This was our second visit in 3 weeks, I already knew what I wanted before arriving which was the Eggs Benedict - stunning! The owner cooks their own ham so it’s thick and very tasty not fatty at all. On both occasions as the weather is getting warmer we sat outside. Other dishes eaten was a ham and cheese sandwich and a Cajun Chicken Wrap. On both occasions we found the service to be great service with some personality too! Reasonably prices too.

I ordered a BBQ Chicken Wrap and a pot of tea. The tea arrived after around 10 minutes, but after 30 minutes there was no sign of the food, so I just paid for the tea and left. Shocking service.

LOVE my lunches at Antons so much we phone up to reserve a table! Cottage pie followed by Apple Crumble and custard are always my favourite dishes. My hubby has high standards and has said the Chicken Pad Thai is the best he had ever had. The staff are friendly and Alison, in particular, is always very attentive.

Had brunch here yesterday with three friends. Big breakfast as good as ever, eggs benedict thoroughly enjoyed, bacon butty so good a second one was ordered. Also ordered a second round of tea and coffee whilst we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. Thank you to Alison, who welcomed us in and ensured we had everything we needed. Always enjoy this cafe.

We go at least once a week to this cafe. We live locally. We have the pad Thai, made fresh by the owner, and is the best in the area by far. The cottage pie, with extra gravy, all home made and generous portions. We always have a pudding. Our lovely waitress, usually Alison, always knows exactly what we want, from reserving our table, number 1, away from any dogs that might come in. (Which must sit under the table in this cafe), to the meals and drinks we select. We rarely wait 10 minutes for our food. Alison is always friendly and helpful. She works hard and is welcoming to all customers and I look forward to having a chat. This cafe has a lot of regulars, some visit every day to eat. Food is well priced, and the cafe is always clean. Wheelchair and pram friendly.

A tea shop that can’t serve tea!!! Told the staff the water in the tea pot stunk and was not drinkable . We were told we should have complained whilst eating but you usually drink after eating!! Made us pay even though no one could drink it Asked them to smell the teapot and water but waitress said it’s ok ,clearly no sense of smell Waitress hard faced and unhelpful Manager wouldn’t remove from bill Just shows they don’t understand the concept of customer service Clearly no palette or taste !!!!! Certainly gone down hill with this owner !!!!!’ Many to chose on that row .. go across the road or next door much nicer.

As two couples staying in Lytham for the weekend we wanted lunch and happened across Antons. It was busy but we managed to get a table. All day breakfast, Egg Royale Chilli con carne and Tuna melt all arrived quickly and all delicious. Coffees and Tea also pretty good.

A couple of weeks ago, my mother and I popped into this cafe for a drink. It was 4.19pm on a week day. I asked the young waitress if it was ok to come in for a couple of drinks only to be told they shut at 5pm . I explained to the waitress we only wanted two drinks, to which she responded the staff need to start cleaning up. When I said I shall not bother ,she replied "are you sure that ok" Not with an attitude like that ! I am very surprised a place like that can survive with that type of customer service!

Popped in for lunch, nice food great selection friendly staff all at reasonable prices… options of either fresh made coffee or licensed what more could you want.

Eat here regularly for breakfast and have never ben disappointed. Food is cooked well with decent portions and the staff are friendly.

Poor service by a very disinterested member of staff. 10 minutes after ordering he return to ask us what size of drink did we want. Coffees arrived and then we had a forty minute wait for our toasted sandwiches by which time our coffees were finished. I complained about the food taking so long and was told that they were busy no apology. When the food arrived the toast was not cooked and the cheese in the toasted sandwich was cold and not melted. When we were about to pay, we told of poor quality of food and were told that it was because they were busy. Will not return again and I will tell my friends of our experience. Need more interested staff and better service. It was as if they did not care how we felt

Awful - waited 40 minutes for 2 toasties and when they eventually arrived the bread was barely toasted and the cheese had only partially melted. Staff disinterested blaming it on being busy - no excuse. I was foolish enough to pay in full but will never try again.

Excellent coffee and very pleasant staff. A nice table outside. The cakes looked delicious. Thank you to all concerned.

Found this cafe on Tripadvisor and arrived for for breakfast today (Sunday) at 11.15am. My husband and I ordered the small English breakfast and our daughter ordered a bacon sandwich on glutten free bread and a latte with almond milk. All arrived together, piping hot served by the lovely polite and helpful members of staff who checked back with us to ensure everything was ok. It is a lovely quaint cafe which is reasonably priced and offering a lovely range of teas, coffee, and cakes but also had a tempting menu of Thai dishes. Can recommend and will look forward to a return visit.

Visited with my family including 3 yr old and baby , staff were very helpful and food was 💯, my son had Thai curry he said it was delicious and same with chicken pad Thai . I went for the prawn sandwich and a side of chips , we will deffo be returning frequently.

Stumbled across this place and will return! Lovely welcome. Varied menu. Good quality food. On this occasion we chose a sandwich and a jacket potato option. Both delicious and served with salad and coleslaw. Coffee good. Excellent value too.
