Lonely food, great staff and friendly service.

Really great food and the staff are lovely. Wish they opened at lunch times even just for a couple of hours with reduced menus. Wish they delivered those amazing pizzas 🍕. Also later openings a couple of nights a week would be amazing 🙏🏼

Well, for a small venue (which was booked with 3 big tables!) the service was excellent & the food was tasty!

We ate at the restaurant on 19th Feb 2025. We got seated at a table that hadnt be set up and basically forgotten about, people had come in after us and got there food before we even ordered!! We had the £7.99 deal. The service was shocking, the staff were more bothered about pranking each other rather than the customers!! Our food eventually came and it was OK, I've had better. We asked for the bill...when I checked it, we hadn't got the £7.99 deal, they had overcharged us, one meal was £9.80 and the other £9.70, we also had garlic bread and drinks. I queried this with the waitress, who went back to check...she came back to the table and said I can assure you it's correct..I asked how it was correct when clearly the meals were not £7.99. She started to get a little narky with us especially after the waiter shouted over that it wasn't correct!! The table next to us also had the same issue, they should have had meals taken off but hadn't and they also got charged full price for meals so not sure how many people were over charged that evening!!! When we were leaving we also noted that they were having extensive work done downstairs, the kitchen wasn't shut off from this and it was covered in cement dust and we all know that dust settles everywhere!! I won't be returning anytime soon...it used to be so nice and the food amazing but it's definitely gone down hill!!

Lovely little restaurant. We went there tonight for valentine's day a d they had decorated the whole restaurant beautifully for it. Amy and Steph were brilliant hostesses and we're polite but also kept us smiling and laughing each time they came to the table to check on us. Lovely staff and somewhere we will definitely be returning too! 😁

Absolute love antonellos is the perfect place to come out for tea, service is quick and food is amazing couldn’t ask for more haley and Lisa waiting on made sure every drink was full and tables filled keep up antonellos ❤️

I love this place. Such a nice welcoming fee, and superb pizzas!

We dined here tonight and we were not disappointed! Fabulous food and wine. We both had breadcrumb stuffed garlic mushrooms for starters , one with mozzarella and one with Stilton- divine! My husband had Penne Arrabiata which was rich and delicious and I had an amazing Tortellini with mushrooms and ham which was cooked to perfection. We shared a small garlic bread with our mains. We washed it all down with a rather quaffable chianti. The bill was reasonable for the quality of food and wine. Staff were attentive, friendly and informative about dishes. Our only drawback was there were so many delicious sounding dishes to choose from! Thank you Antonellos We will be back !

i had came into the restutant the other day and it was brilliant! the waitresses was amazing! the stuffed mushrooms was lovely, and for my main i had the penne arabiatta! i was welcomed by a lovely lad named george who had a smile on his face the whole time! i will definatley be back soon!!!

Very good “steak night special “ tonight. Good value, good flavour, good service, could not ask for more. Antonellos delivered exactly what it says on the can. A real Italian restaurant with authentic food. Thank you Dominic and the team. A great night out.

Went here for take away tonight, we've not been here in years and I don't know why. Really enjoyed the food and it was all reasonably priced. Would recommend 👌 👍

Food here is spot on as is the service & atmosphere. Coming here is almost a weekly event & can't recommend it enough

Ordered a take away and Dominic who took our order was really welcoming and provided great service. Food was packaged well for takeaway and piping hot when we got home. Tasted absolutely delicious and we will be ordering from there for takeaway again. Reasonably priced too for great quality. 👍

Food, as always, is excellent. However takeaway counter needs tidying up, especially during the renovation works.

Absolutely lovely place, lovely food, and of course it's the girls Hayley and Lisa and the rest of the crew that make you feel so welcome. It's hard graft at times waiting on people when you'd probably like to be out enjoying a meal yourself, but they're always so cheerful and personable - it's a pleasure every time we go.

Arrived at restaurant a little late but the staff kindly fitted us in. Very pleasant ambience, food superb.

Nice Rustic style Italian. Good specials - but book if it is the weekend

Recently started a project with my friends where we go try new food places every week and this was the first place we started this idea and let’s say this it’s been the best possibly way to start things the drinks are nice and comfortable prices and the food is honestly some of the best food I’ve had for leyland and they off takeaway options too honestly I love the atmosphere in this place and they way it’s laid out deffo coming back sometime soon the waiter Dave treated us with such welcoming style would deffo recommend 10/10!!!

Intimate restaurant. Main course wasn’t to my taste but that’s just me, hubby enjoyed his. Deserts were amazing along with the cappuccino.

Absolutely amazing staff and food, quick service, best pizza I’ve had for a long time

My family has been going to Antonello's for over 30 years, and this is the first time we were left disappointed. The best thing about them - their pizzas and garlic bread - seem to have changed drastically under the new ownership. The soft but chewy dough completely absent, instead a dry bready base with a crispy crust more reminiscent of other cheaper takeaway pizzas in the area. It's not only not as good as before, it's just not very good overall. There's also major renovations currently happening, so absolutely zero atmosphere whilst everything is covered up with plywood. I previously rated 5 stars. Unfortunately not any more.

Food lovely. Restaurant pleasant ambience but the stars are the front of house staff, especially the ladies. Professional and friendly with a wonderful attitude.

We were looking forward to having excellent Italian food but unfortunately it wasn’t. The spaghetti was not al dente, prawns were really in small amount and pizza was really unseasoned.

Did not receive correct order. Error only found on getting home. Spicy sausage instead of ham & mushroom pizza and chilli tomato on garlic bread. Both inedible as don't like spice. Very disappointed

Great restaurant!!, we had a fantastic meal with great drinks, service and fantastic staff. It was reasonably priced and is a real gem in Leyland. Try the garlic potatoes!! Can't wait to return

Lovely restaurant, a little gem of a place

Good friendly fast service, yummy food. Atmosphere is homely, relaxing and very welcoming.

I am really sad to leave this review but I will not be returning. We used to love Antonella’s and we went last week and ordered food to take away. We made our order and apparently you can’t have prawns to take away as this is not allowed. What baffled me was there is a prawn dish on the take away menu. We waited and the front of house staff do not help as all we heard was about the social life and flirting. It’s a little off putting when you’re meant to be working. The staff are not presentable and are rude. When we got home (2 minutes from the restaurant) the food was Luke warm and my lasagne was watery and the pizza and garlic bread had not been cooked long enough. We are really disappointed 😔

Lovely meal, went for my mum's birthday. Ive been here irregularly since I was very young and have always had a great time with brilliant food, when I was much younger and couldn't decide what to have they even let me essentially have a tiny bit of all the most different items, that's one of my fondest memory's of visiting my family in Leyland. Since I've been here so often and always had a good time I thought it appropriate to leave a review. Lovely place, lots of vegetarian options for my mum and plenty of options for any intolerances. I had the king prawns this time, delicious. But I always have something different every time I come (I have a broad pallet) and they have never disappointed from their pastas to their steaks. Definitely recommend.

Change of ownership total disaster we went to Antonellos the other night only to find its changed hands after a long wait we finally got our food my partner had the lasagna which was runny and unpleasant and she could not eat it and had to leave it i had a meat feast pizza the cheese was all runny the base was soggy and very little meat content .been going here for years i will never go here again KEEP AWAY .

This it the best pizza I've ever had outside of Italy. I genuinely wouldn't go any other Italian takeaway. I've been taken to Antonellos since the day it first opened, they literally make you feel part of the family. Great food, Great staff, Great location 👍

Absolutely beautiful food at very reasonable price. We did wait a while in between courses, but was worth it! Would recommend 100%

i paid £12 splitting the bill with 4 other people. the waitress’ were lovely and made the experience overall really welcoming creating a friendly atmosphere in the restaurant. The garlic bread didn’t taste like garlic at all but the tomato garlic bread made up for it as the taste was exquisite. i also got the bolognaise pizza and that was overall lovely, the cheese was a little bit to thick for my liking but to any other pizza lover it would be just perfect. overall, the service and setting was lovely but i would pick something different next time as my main.

First time visiting in over 5 years. Partly due to COVID restrictions but also the abrupt attitude towards customers from the owner back then! Tonight I ordered stuffed mushrooms starter followed by Farfalle Mamma....both were cooked to perfection!... waitress service was good with friendly, professional staff. I would advise you to book a table in advance as even midweek the restaurant is busy. One couple were turned away whilst I was dining, due to lack of availability for the rest of the night. Prices are reasonable with lots of choice. Vegetarian and vegan options also available. The place is intimate with a relaxing atmosphere. It can however soon become noisy depending on who else is dining. It is worth noting that the stairs to the restaurant (which is on the first floor) are steep. There is no lift available, Anyone with restrictions or physical disability would be unable to access the restaurant. I was impressed with Antenellos this time and will go again when next in the area.

Me and my boyfriend wanted to go for a date night somewhere last minute so we rang Antonellos and the lady told us she’d have table ready for when we got there , we arrived 10 mins after phone call and table was ready. Both ladies were very friendly and even though they were busy they made time to speak to all customers. The food was amazing and I can’t normally finish a meal but I managed to finish this one. 10/10 experience.

A nice little restaurant in the centre of Leyland. They do manage to squeeze alot of people into a small space, but that just adds to the atmosphere. Food is great and the service can't be faulted.

I visited for the first time on Sunday with family. Beautiful restaurant, has a very cosy feel to it. Staff friendly and happy. Fabulous food. Will definitely visit again next time we’re up. Highly recommend

Perfect. The atmosphere, food and service is amazing.

50/50. Atmosphere was ok. Out of the two waitresses one was brilliant and very professional, the other one not so. One of the pizzas tasted like boiled dough 1/10, the other one was four cheese but it was definitely a margarita with some mozzarella on top so 5/10 Starters were just plain with loads of mozzarella so 5/10 No desserts at all. Drink choice very limited. Not going back for sure. it's a No Go Rather go opposite and pay half the price for same quality in Wetherspoons ..

Oh dear I love this little restaurant but last night what a disaster booked a week ago for 4 people for 7.30 arrived on time to be told we may have to wait 40 mins and the waitress couldn't guarantee that.there were 11 people waiting downstairs 2 other people on the stairs.not sure what's happened but I hope you sort it out

It's a great, hidden gem. If you didn't know it was there, you could easily walk past it. They do takeaway downstairs and the restaurant upstairs. Food is excellent, service is friendly and very hospitable, atmosphere is wonderful. Definitely one to visit.

Me and 2 of my friends came for a meal around 9pm. We arrived and were told we'd have a half an hour wait due to a big party of people coming in. We waited and at 9:45pm we were given a table. The meals were lovely. We had pasta, pizza & garlic breads. One of my friends had never been and he liked it that much he said he would go back again.

We have always enjoyed the food and dining experience at Antonello's. However, not so on Sunday 12th February. We had a long wait for our starters, and only 2 out of 4,starters arrived, due to 'an accident' in the kitchen! We then had another long wait for our mains, which we were disappointed to find were not up to the usual standard. The only saving grace for the evening was a complimentary drink for each of us, and the lovely manner of Gabrielle who did everything she could to cheerfully try to save the day! Being regular customers of Antonello's, we are now thinking we may not return.

Had a take away yesterday and was really sad with the food. The tomato garlic bread was so hard as if it had been waiting around and was flavourless with minimal tomato sauce and garlic. Hopefully it was just an off night.

Love this place, best place in Leyland IMHO. The restaurant upstairs is great, fantastic good, good price, great atmosphere. What's not to like

Had a great experience here with the food and atmosphere just right. Prices are reasonable with good quality ingredients. The staff were great and it was really nice to spend time in this quirky yet authentic restaurant. Anyone in Leyland and or South Ribble should visit whether it be for a takeout or restaurant meal. Won't leave it 25 years to revisit despite not longer living in the area.

I have been eating here for many years, and have always had a great time. The food is absolutely delicious, and the Restaurant is the perfect place to go for an authentic Italian experience. Such a lovely little place! Highly recommended!

The 3 of us had a very enjoyable, tasty, and prompt meal tonight. I would have liked to have had the option of alcohol free beer. Not everyone likes coke or j2o. Service was excellent will go again.
