Anti Social Food Co. in Torridge

I ate here tonight and it was utterly delicious. Dirty fries and a milkshake. Next time I’ll have to try one of their burgers. Highly recommended.

We did wonder if total lack of friendly greeting and the really slow service (over 30 mins for a wrap) was part of the vibe:) Giving some stars for benefit of the doubt that they were having a really bad day and when it arrived it was tasty. But sadly wouldn’t rush to go back.

A very hot day in Bideford and I needed to sit in somewhere cool to sit in and eat. After going in to endless places and walking out because of the heat we ended up here. As a vegetarian it suited me. This is an unusual place. It looks like a takeaway but has (limited) seating. We were served by a very pleasant lady who advised of what was and wasn't available. This was a bit unusual given that it was midday (ish) and I would have expected them to be better stocked. However, my food order of Dirt Fries and an Orange and Carrot juice was excellent. The chili is really, really good. My wife did not like her main. She had the smashed avocado, mushrooms and spinach meal but sadly it came in a plain, German supermarket generic white sesame bap. This spoilt it and my did not like the mixture. She also had the halloumi fries and a shake. She did not like the shake but I thought it was delicious. The service is slow but it was cooked to order so they can be excused. All in all a nice place for a vegan meal.

I ordered an Anarchy Burger with Dirty Fries (loaded with salsa, homemade chilli, vegan cheeze and mayo) ...and a Hotdog + Fries for my 9yr old son, which came in a fantastic naturally coloured blue bun! The food was fresh, delicious and we enjoyed the beet ketchup and special Anti-Social vegan mayo - really tasty :) The food came in a fully compostable container too. The staff were really friendly and we will be back to try the other options very soon!!
