My friends and I visited last Thursday and had afternoon tea, the best we’ve ever had. Great choice of freshly made sandwiches, delicious home baked pancakes and scones and fantastic cakes. Lovely tearoom with such friendly staff. Would absolutely recommend and we’ll be back soon.

To celebrate my wife's birthday we had afternoon tea which I have to say was exceptional for the price. The staff are delightful and extremely attentive ensuring you have a good experience within the tea room. Would highly recommend the afternoon tea here compared to other establishments we have visited recently.

After overhearing a conversation about here, I decided to try this cafe. I wasn’t disappointed, it was a lovely very clean wee place. The food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and welcoming and helped me with directions and suggestions to where to visit during my day in Dunblane. I will most definitely recommend highly to anyone and will be back if in the area.

We have been coming to Tillys for a few years now and the staff and food are always fabulous!! Our most recent visit was to celebrate my daughters birthday. She had requested to go to Tillys for a birthday lunch. The staff went out of their way to make her feel special, bringing a cake to her with a candle and singing happy birthday! We drive 1 hour to get here, and the drive is worth it!! I only wish you were nearer home so that we could visit more often! Thank you again ladies. See you again soon. X

Visited the Tearoom whilst staying at Dunblane Hydro. The visit to the Tearoom enhanced our stay in Dunblane. The delicious home cooked food was served piping hot and in a timely manner. The apple and cinnamon scones are a treat. The food was very reasonably priced. The service received from Annmarie was exceptional. She was very friendly and went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our visit. Fantastic experience encountered overall.

We found this fab little tea shop on The Extra Mile website and popped in for brunch whilst in Dunblane during our holiday to Scotland. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is great! So good in fact that we went back for coffee and cake at the end of the day. Highly recommended and just a very short distance from the A9, if you happen to be passing through! 😀

We visited for lunch while staying in the area. Have eaten here countless times before and never disappointed. Very welcoming and homely environment. Often a wait on tables, but that just shows how popular it is! We went for a walk round the village and they called us when our table was ready (30ush mins). Good selection of home baking too.

During our recent holiday we walked from Bridge of Allan to Dunblane on a rainy day and stumbled upon this wee gem of a tearoom. We happened to arrive just before 12 noon. The place was going like a fair and the tables were all occupied however the friendly and welcoming staff kindly agreed to accommodate us. After a short wait, a table became available by the window just inside the door (loved the partition between the two tables, which made for a more intimate dining experience!). The menu was extensive and varied. We plumped for the soup and pudding deal which was incredibly good value. I highly recommend the hummingbird cake which went down a treat and set us up for our walk back to Bridge of Allan in the rain!

We visited on our way through Dunblane. Unknown to us Another Tilly Tearoom had won Tearoom of the Year the night before so the tearoom was extremely busy. Our server Catherine squeezed us in and was extremely helpful and friendly. We had scone or cakes and tea/coffee. Everything was delicious and I especially loved my gluten free carrot cake. The wee teapots were delightful with their knitted cosies 😊 If you are in Dunblane or passing on the A9 I can highly recommend this tearoom

We popped in for a light lunch yesterday and only had a 5 minute wait for a table. While waiting I studied the cake display and settled on the coffee cake. I ordered it with a scoop of ice cream for an extra £1. Yum! Great Trioavvisor reviews led me here in the first place, and they were spot on. The only disappointment was that the fruit scone we ordered never materialised. I guess someone else ordered the last scone. Definitely recommend. Photos to follow. 📸

Our first time in this tearoom. It was extremely busy but there was a free table for us thankfully. The service was very efficient considering how busy they were. The staff were friendly. We all enjoyed the food we ordered. I only dropped a star as I thought the meals were a little pricey for what you got. Had they had the side salad/coleslaw/crisps included instead of charging an extra £1.50 then they’d have been totally worth it. We couldn’t resist the cakes! The Hummingbird cake was particularly tasty, huge portion and well worth the cost! We loved it! I liked the teapot with tea cosy and the vintage cups and spoons. Very cute. There was a long queue to pay our bill but I think that was a combination of lots of bill payers all at once and takeaways being fulfilled. No issue though as it shows how popular the cafe is!

I'd phoned ahead so we had a big table set up in the upstairs back room and soon after our arrival we had the space to ourselves. (I really hope we didn't chase off the 2 lunching ladies!) Anyway, sandwiches, paninis, baked potatoes were all excellent as was the marshmallow roll/slice. Service was very friendly, understanding and helpful. Good selection of soups, sandwiches, cakes etc. but particular mention has to be made of the great selection of Gluten Free options that were available. Everything from the soups to cakes were available in Gluten Free variations, and when there are around 9 desserts alone to choose from in the gluten free range, that’s a nice problem for a coeliac to have to face. Our granddaughter took us here and we thoroughly enjoyed the tea and cake. The tea was served in a china teapot with hand knitted teapot cover (all are different) with china cups. We also had a large portion of hummingbird cake which was very moist and truly scrumptious!! (sorry, just watching Mary Poppins). The staff were great too, very friendly.

Always have a great meal in here. Whether breakfast or lunch it never fails to impress. In particular the soup, goats cheese salad and the hot choc fudge cake.

We popped in here for lunch while passing for the first time and were glad we did. The service was good, very quick and efficient, staff were very friendly. There is a good selection on the menu and even a dog menu, which our dogs loved! The soup was delicious and toasties were tasty but a little burnt around the sides so we couldn't even bite into some of them. They have no disabled parking which is disappointing. We will definitely pop in again if passing!

Gracias

A very poor experience in terms of food quality and service. It certainly didn't live up to it's claim of "equisite dining"...where we would.."Indulge in a culinary journey".(unless the destination was mediocrity). We were there as a group of about 14 in a private room for the xmas menu and we had eaten here the previous year also, when the food was OK, but not great. This year it was much poorer. The scallops were absolutely tiny! The cod was NOT cod, not sure what it was but as someone who has worked in the UK fish industry for many years, it was most definitely not cod. The same happened last year when it was a bass or bream fillet (also called "cod" on the menu) but was quite tasty so I didn't mind so much then. This time it was a fish with quite soft and tasteless flesh. We had to chase some drinks orders several times as they didn't appear, sometimes eventually turning up after about 20 minutes. The sticky toffee pudding was on freezing cold plates, which made the sauce cold and sponge barely warm...just about room temperature. One sticky toffee pudding that was ordered with vegan ice cream didn't appear until we had chased it a couple if times and everyone else had finished. We won't be back next year. Perhaps we should have complained more at the time, but it's supposed to be a fun time, not one when as well as chasing food and drinks, we have to moan about everything and kill the atmosphere.
