Another Finnieston Spot in Glasgow City

Concept of the bar is good but I felt it never quite lived up to the photos. Drinks were also a bit of a disappointment for the price, particularly the colour changing ones. Staff were lovely and accommodating.

Booked a table for 6 for 6.15pm. On entering the cocktail bar, there was no one behind the bar, and we were eventually greeted by a very sullen worker. We were told we could not be served downstairs and told us to go upstairs. There, we were told cocktails were not available. On going back downstairs, we were told we could have a free round, which never materialised. Cocktails that were OK were eventually served.

Nicola was great, very friendly, very open and honest and lovely to talk to. We loved speaking to her xx and we will be back coz she is so lovely and welcoming xx

Went here for the first time last weekend for a friends birthday. It’s a bit hidden but very cozy and well decorated inside, perfect to book for an occasion or for a cocktail. The service was great, would definitely come again

What a great place! They hosted a friend’s birthday downstairs and we had a fantastic night! The bartender took us on a cocktail journey! Quirky decor. Great size for a private event. Look forward to coming back.

Had my 40th birthday day out/party here on Saturday. A brilliant wee spot with excellent, quirky decor and Jamie and the rest of the staff couldn't have been any better. Those who had food said it could not be faulted (fish tacos being a favorite) the guys set the decks up so we could DJ with our own tunes up until the live music came on later. All in all couldn't fault anything at all. Will definitely be back to try some more of the cocktails soon.

Was on the way home when we heard music coming out a door way with steps leading down, was drawn in and spent the next couple of hours really loving the place!

Cocktails were nice, only one guy working who was lovely but was confused when we asked for food. So misleading food menu outside, on the tables and posts on their instagram of food but we when asked to order food he was more confused than us!

so misleading had my friends come through and booked for dinner , there was a food menu on their instagram, outside on the wall and on our tables when we arrived , then when we tried to order food were told they don’t serve food? Bartender also looked so confused that we asked to order food as if there wasn’t food menus on every table and there is literally photos of food on their instagram. Staff were so lovely and drinks were good but so confusing. So don’t go for food lol

Been a few times now and it never disappoints. The food and cocktails are amazing and the live music always adds to a great night. Look forward to returning

Such a cool speak-easy in the heart of Finnieston. Really unique cocktails but the staff were really friendly and did classic cocktails for my fussy friend. Overall great service and love the live music 🎶 will become a regular I think :)

What a great night we had in AFS , The staff really couldn’t do enough for us the food was amazing one of the girls in our company was vegetarian and they catered to her needs without an issue .. My favourite thing about the night was the cocktails think we tried them all .. Cannot wait to go back .

They don't pay their musicians! They have left my friend out of pocket and never paid her for the gigs she has done, they owe her all together £1200. Avoid this place as they clearly treat their staff like shi...t

AFS bills itself as a cocktail bar with live music but they are not only not fit for purpose as a live music venue (impossibly small stage, no equipment) The owner (Sandy Moreland or Ibiza Sandy as he likes to be called) is a dim-witted, bill dodging charlatan. He not only tried to dodge paying me a fee for completed work, and many other musicians, but currently has left a local award winning artist £1200 out of pocket. The lowest of the low. I strongly advise others to avoid, because of the horrendous treatment of musicians, or the pretentious broom cupboard they call a bar.

I've been in here (hence the picture - I took it). It is both tiny, and unfortunately the owner (Sandy) is a robbing chancer who continues to hire musicians, then refuse to pay them. We got our money, but I've spoken to several other musicians who have been chasing £100s for an actual year, with one poor girl being out £1200. So enjoy your overpriced cocktails if you go, you're giving your money to human trash.

The owner of this place doesn't pay the musicians that do gigs there. He owes £1200 to Marianne McGregor, an award winning musician. Avoid avoid avoid.

There is a cocktail bar in London called the Bar with No Name. AFS would appropriately be called the Bar with No Drinks. I made reservations to AFS months ago for a visit to Glasgow. Intentions were clear: dinner, show, post show drinks. Upon arrival though not only could I not find entrance, but staff at establishment next door notes they had lost their license and were closed. The rest of the trip would have happened anyway, but many establishments require a credit card for booking. Why is AFS unable to complete the basic courtesy of calling and emailing to say they are closed? Infuriating. I'm told it's a great place, but they did not show it that night.

Wasn't all bad, but first choice cocktail choice was not available by the time we got there and second choice cocktail was good. Problems came from servers not wearing masks, no track and trace, tried to charge an extra pound on the bill, male server was rude as hell when asking for the bill and then pointing out the extra pound charge. We don't care if you're the only man on the floor and we do notice if a bill is wrong and we do notice when you try to chat up pretty women. Just do your job.

Great, quirky wee place. Cocktails, beer and wine all on the menu. Cocktails well presented and pretty potent. Service was slightly slow but it was a busy Saturday night we went. Would recommend and will return.

Nice underground cocktail bar, dark and secretive! They have some live music at the weekends, but the place is very tiny. Cocktails are priced around £10. Good friendly service!
