I love fried yam but this one had a really bitter aftertaste. I wasn't able to eat most of it. so disappointing as I was really looking forward to it.

Food arrived almost 2 hours after I ordered. It was cold.

I paid £39.40 for Egsui with fufu and it arrived on time but COLD and missing the fufu. I spoke to the restaurant and they told me to order something small on the menu then they will deliver the 2 missing fufu. Would you believe they switched off the online ordering process and would not answer my call when l called the shop. I would never order again, in fact it was my first time ordering from them. I advise to avoid this shop. Just imagine a new year and people behaving in this manner.

Firstly I must say I am very shocked about all the negetive comments,I went there on Saturday with a group of friends,the atmosphere was beautiful,we danced our heart out even though we were seated,they had two waiters,Roy I believe he is called came smiling,we ordered our drinks and food,the drinks and starters came quickly,we had Akomfem which was very tasty,the tastiestI have had in london and also ordered meat platter,which was equally nice especially the portion size,we had tuo zaafi which we were not very sure,but boy!!!!!! Their food is delicious period,our kokonte took a bit of time to come out but it was OK as the place was very busy and a lot of delivery drivers coming in and out as well,their grilled tilapia is very fresh and tasty,Jollof Combo woooooow the taste if the smoky flavourswas out of this world,i can continue forever,well done guys we will be back,keep the smile up. Kudos to the chef

Absolutely disgusting! The place doesn't look like it would pass any satisfactory hygiene standards. Dusty & filthy. When only part of the food arrived I asked for a couple of spoons, the cashier proceeded to give spoons under the desk that clearly needed a good boil wash. The spoon was sticky & dirty with a piece of hair stuck to it. We visited this place only yesterday & this experience is still up there as a horrible dining decision. I've never been to a West African restaurant like this. They left my family with 3 young children waiting for food for 2 hours. Not even a glass of tap water was offered to try & alleviate the problem with the long wait. Part of the food came- I have to admit the qty size is very generous & is sufficient. However the fact that we all had to eat from the1 dish that managed to on the table, with no idea when the other dishes would arrive, made me want to cancel the remaining order. The owner told me that she would charge me half price for remaining rice dish. To be honest she shouldn't have charged me at all, I should've charged her. When I complained to the cashier, he was laughing/smirking. I had to remind him that it isn't a laughing matter.

Went this afternoon, food was lovely (especially the peanuts soup) and waiter was super kind too! Would recommend if you want good Ghanaian food! Food portion sizes were amazing too.

The food was delicious and well packaged and the presentation was excellent.

Food tastes really good because it is made fresh and being Ghanaian I can tell it is. Service is a bit slow but is worth the wait when you food finally arrive. I tried the tz and palm wine to wmquench my taste. Service could improve in regards to stuffing. If they get more stuff I think the place would be very good because the food is amazing.

My recent visit to Anny's was nothing short of exceptional. The moment I tasted the dishes, I was simply in awe. The flavors were vibrant and unforgettable—the jollof rice and kebab, in particular, were absolutely outstanding. My friend enjoyed the stew and shared the same sentiment. Not only is the food excellent, but the affordability makes it even more appealing. The service was attentive and seamless, enhancing the overall experience. I will undoubtedly return, as it’s rare to find such a perfect blend of quality, service, and value. Truly a place where good food inspires a great mood.

Avoid this restaurant at all cost, they lied to ubereats. They told ubereats that I called them to cancel my order but I didn’t call them. They rather cancelled the order without contacting me. Ghanaians and lies, I definitely will not be ordering from them again.

The first time I visited the place was yesterday. After I read the reviews and the menu. The place is nice. It was very hot inside. I walked up to the cashier, who did not greet me. Rather he called me choffi. I was not welcomed at all. I left and did not want to visit again, but my friend persuaded me to. So I attended again today around 1pm, and the cashier did not greet me. But because my friend persuaded me to visit, I greeted him. His response was, 'mhmmm' and nodded. Things that goats do. The restaurant owner did the same thing after I greeted her, not knowing she was the owner. There was enough natural sunlight in the place, until the restaurant owner requested the light be switched on. It didn't make a much difference. I proceeded to inform him that I had vulnerabilities, but I would like to order some food. I asked if it was okay to sit down and have a meal, as I live far, I cannot take the food with me in my condition anyway. The cashier said that I was welcome to take a seat after making small talk with him. I told him where I was from, sadly he thought I was Jamaican. I am from Cape Coast. I sat down at table no.8. I paid for Ghanian Fried rice and Fish stew, and Bofrot. The Bofrot arrived piping hot, it was made with spoiled milk. Very disgusting. I told the cashier that there was something not right about it, as I queried if milk was used. He said milk was used. It was obviously rotten. The main meal arrived on a grey tray. With some fresh salad. The fried rice was, tasteless, hard rice fit for a dog. If you don't know how to flavour food the traditional way, use Maggi. It tasted like soy sauce, but I asked before ordering and the cashier said there is none. The stew had no taste either, overflowing with oil, yet there was no anointing. It just tasted like tomatoes drenched in oil, but there was fried fish in it. So why was the stew lacking that traditional fish flavour. The fish was not amazing. That food took me a long way away from home. I was sure that this rice was not made there, but brought from another restaurant. If that other restaurant makes fried rice that way, that is fine, I did not order from them. However, clearly it means Anny's doesn't know how to make proper Ghanian fried rice. That one was for diabetics. My food was obviously given to another customer or person(s), who they know. While I ate something foreign to the business. I don't need to turn my head around to know. The business doesn't respect my money or good Ghanian business values, but their own ideals. That is wicked, because I paid for my meal, it was not free. It is also a bad way to get people socialising. When they do not know how to welcome people. The restaurant is a members only club. Serving their own, while giving newcomers something replicated but not real. I don't understand how my food went to a different customer. Why do you think I want to make acquaintances with every living being that talks. Sometimes it is simply nice to enjoy a meal on your own, in a comfortable surrounding. But clearly they take customers for children thinking they can best inform their decision. It seems as though I enjoyed my meal, when in reality I had to give an impartial review of the dog food that was served to me by goats. Go anywhere else. Catherine

Not a 5 star experience. Culturally I think Nigerian restaurants such as Enish have Ghanians beat. Ghanians really need to go and see how it's done.

FOOD POISONING. The lack of customer safety and care at Anny's Restaurant & Bar is deeply concerning. The food safety standards were below par, leading to a customer falling ill and requiring medical intervention after consuming a meal there on 5 July 2024. Despite the owner's apology after a phone call to draw her attention to this, the issue was not adequately addressed, and the promised follow-up call made 10 days ago was not honoured. When attempting to address the situation, I encountered uncooperative behaviour from the restaurant staff yesterday. They were unwilling to provide their name and even abruptly ended a call when I sought clarification. Furthermore, my attempts to obtain information were met with ignorance and reluctance. To prove that the restaurant owner has not given this any regard, my request yesterday for the call she volunteered and dishonoured was disregarded by her. Given the severity of the situation, (food poisoning ) this lack of accountability and transparency is extremely disappointing.

The food is over cooked, greasy and not edible

Good food. Place is a bit small but has a nice atmosphere. I'd advice you call and Place your order about an hour before you get there to avoid a long wait.

Good evening this is Pauline and Solomon, just to let you know the driver delivered the soup which was spilt in the bag. . The driver could not explain what happened. I took a picture and complained to Just Eat to refund our money.

Worst customer service experience ever. Food is not great and had to wait 2 hours for about 8 pieces of fried yam which turned out they forgot the order and the staff didn’t even apologise. They need to do better. Not visiting again…

Placed an order for a collection for fufu with peanut soup. Service could have been better as I wasn't acknowledged for a few minutes and even then the waitress told me to wait. However, the food was delicious. I was craving my parents home cook and this was the closest thing I received. The fufu and fish soup was still hot when I got home and was absolutely delicious. This was my second time at Anny's and I will certainly be back. Highly recommend!

Worst experience ever. I don’t recommend. Ordered food and they didn’t add a single spoon or forks and knife and didn’t add the water i ordered. Called the restaurant and they kept me on phone for minutes and continued conversation at the background. staff was also rude when I called the first time. I DONT RECOMMEND

Upon opening my delivery, the sauce was spilt everywhere and contaminated the other food, making it very soggy and inedible, it looked like the food had been thrown about as everything was spilled and a bit cold.am not very happy

It was my first time eating at Anny's restaurant, it was a recommendation from my mother and sister, after they visited for mothers day March 2024. The atmosphere and the staff were very friendly, We waited maybe 15 mins for our food. My daughter ordered Waakye with mixed meat, I ordered banku and Okra soup, when the food arrived, it was huge portions and we were ready to tuck in, to our surprise the waakye was so disgusting in taste, it didn't taste like waakye, the texture of the waakye was like water, rice and some kind of coloring, the most nasty waakye ever tasted. I can't even begin to tell you how disgusting and tasteless the waakye and meat was. The meat on the other hand was so tough, you couldn't even cut it with a knife. My daughter wasted £14.00 she took one bite and decided to not continue to eating the rice water waakye. Oh 🤔 the presentation of the waakye was nice, so we were deceived, thinking the food will taste nice, until we took a fork full. We have decided never to visit the restaurant again and we travelled about 45 mins drive to go and eat at Annys. Let's review the banku and okra, the taste was OK may be 2 star🌟 However, I was disappointed to keep biting into bits of ginger cubes🫚 and the okra soup was very stringy, if you are Ghanaian reading this review and you can cook well, you know not to use certain okra to cook. Some of the okra was stringy due to asini purposes, each time I took a bite, I had to take out the stringy bit of the okra from my mouth. This made the whole eating experience a task and a half. Over all we were disappointed with the food. I did explain to the guy, who serve us, hoping he would suggest refunding the money we spent, instead he stated, "I will tell the Kitchen staff and that was all". The only positive is the atmosphere and the staff were friendly, apart from that, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who fancies waakye or banku. By the way, the Kelewele and the peanuts was OK, so my daughter had that instead. I have eaten at a few Ghanaian restaurants this was my worse food experience. 🙃 Two weeks later My review I'm about to write may come across, crazy, however, I needed to write this review. After all the saga, with the nasty food I had at Anny's. I decided to visit again, as my sister suggested that the fried Yam and fish was very tasty. So two weeks after my nasty experience, I decided to visit Anny's to give it the benefit of doubt. My sister was very much parising the fried Yam and so we arrived. As we entered the restaurant, we choose, one available table, which was filthy from the previous customers, it was not cleaned, and had tissues, tooth pick, soup stains on the table, eventually, one of the staff come to clean the table. We sat there for at least 20mins, than the same member of staff, who served us the last time, came to tell us the restaurant owner, Anny have decided not to service us. I was taken aback, as I was Confused as, Anny stated, she was unhappy with our first google review. I was very disappointed with Anny response. I then asked a question to the gentleman serving us. My exact question was even, if your Anny refuses to serve me, that's OK, how about my guest. He give us a minute to go and spoke to Anny, then returned to say, Anny said we have to leave. Myself and my sister, were very disappointed, than left the restaurant. I wanted to give this review, Anny who claimed, she used to work in coperate HR can review her Complaint policy or Google review. This restaurant ratings, I would like to give is below 1 star 🌟 unfortunately, Google doesn't recommend below 1 star. I will never step a foot in this restaurant again nor recommend to any of my friend group. Awful Awful experience 😡

I am not a West African native and I dined here on a late Sat afternoon. I.e. ymmv but I found the service to be good and the food to be hot, plentiful and quickly served. I had the wakye with fish stew, with plantain on the side. I was bicycling in the area when I saw the place, and the staff let me bring my cycle in while I ate. I will be back to try other items on the menu. :)

The yam porridge was too salty and it had a weird after taste.

Visited last week, ordered over the phone, and arrived on time, but my food was given away. Asked for the wait time, expressed parking concern; server assured 2 mins, waited over 10 mins. Received the food without an apology; and got laughter instead. Poor customer service. The food was disgusting, fatty, and oily, and Jollof rice was cold and tasted old. Spent over £45. Disappointed after years of praising this place.

I ordered for 3 meat pies I was given 2 instead, and each time I ask for a refund from the app it doesn’t so it’s really annoying when an order is missed.

He was asked to take the food back because it was the wrong order but he didn’t

Customers should be compensated for late delivery as the food arriving late is an inconvenience to the customer.

I wouldn’t know about the atmosphere because I ordered off Uber eats. The waiting time for the food was good and food came wrapped well and hot. I had meat stew and waakye. Lots of bone was in the meat which I didn’t rate but the sauce was tasty. I ordered a Jelloff rice for my son and he didn’t like it, I tasted it and didn’t like it either. Had hardly any taste but taste a bit burned. I will try the restaurant in person next time .

Ordered at 5.48pm for delivery, had to call at 7.30pm to chase up and was told I have to come and collect myself. Got there, they argued amongst themselves and didn't even bother with apologising and providing an intelligent reason why they did not deliver as they should. Worst experience I've had on Just Eat. Never again am I spending a penny here.

I give everything a 3 chance rule if they impress me the first time and Annys has really impressed me. This is proper Ghanaian food which satisfies me when I’m craving something particular. This is truly ‘efie ne fie’ (Ghanaians and any twi speakers know what this means). Good sized portions. Tasty, authentic food. I will always be back as long as this is the standard

I ordered egusi and they accepted the order knowing that they didn't have my order. The alternative that was sent (Efo riro) was overcooked and salty. Never again

Nice packaging , very clean . The only thing is the type of rice used for jollof and fried rice (not good) and the fried rice isn’t the African way, it’s a Chinese fried rice

The indomie noodle mix with fried egg was absolutely amazing. It really took me back home to the street food. So so tasty washed down with Gh Fanta! I even ordered a meat pie as a snack for the next day. Thank you so much for catering to my request! Much appreciated.
