Fabulous little gem of a Thai Restaurant in Bilston Street, Sedgley. Great atmosphere and delicious food at a very reasonable price. Would certainly recommend..5 star!

First class food. A nice little find after searching for a place to eat. With highly recommended reviews on Trip advisor my friend and I thought we’d try this place out. We weren’t disappointed, the food was absolutely fantastic, fresh and tasty. No complaints from the starter to the main course. One of the most tastiest meals I’ve hade in a long time. Highly recommend this place, would eat there in a heart beat. Restaurant set in the back of the pub. Interesting quirky and extremely friendly.

Disgusting. Not vegetarian nor vegan friendly. When asked what spices they use, what their curry sauce ingredients were, they don't know. It comes out of a jar or a packet. That IS NOT AUTHENTIC! Not surprised that their hygiene rating have dropped. You need to see the kitchen 🤮

We eat out at many restaurants home and abroad. This restaurant is a gem. Food is excellent and service always good. We are baffled why anyone would give this restaurant a negative rating. Annie the owner and her family are always courteous and polite and the guy who does the cooking knows what he is doing, certainly compares with some of the best restaurants during my travels to Thailand.

An amazing hidden gem! We have eaten here multiple times and can always rely on a good amount of food full of flavours. Usually we order a mixed starter for 2 and a chicken red curry and a chicken peanut curry. The food is always fresh and brought out in a traditional candle heated hot plate. The staff are amazing and wear traditional clothing which adds to the experience. On the odd occasion we have been brought out food free of charge to taste and it’s one of our favourite local locations for genuine Thai food! I would recommend this place to everyone who wishes to experience genuine and authentic Thai cuisine.

Disgusting. If you are running a restaurant at least learn to be civil and kind to your customers. And maybe learn to communicate in English. The food is good. But that is all I can say about it. Service awful, attitude awful and their child running around the restaurant all of the time. If pue children are expected to behave while in your restaurant then your child should too.

So pleased we could finally get back for a meal on 2 nights during our holiday in the Dudley area. We remember how wonderful Ann's food is from previous visits over the years so we knew what to expect and we were certainly not disappointed and after the first night we just booked for the next night as well. The food in my opinion is the best Thai food outside Thailand and we have visited Thailand over 25 times and tried a lot of Thai restaurants in this country and many other countries. We were able to meet Ann and to thank her personally for making out stay memorable.

Having eaten here in the past, but found it went downhill, we thought we would give it another try. No customers, bare tables, basic salt and pepper, no friendly service, no free prawn crackers.. the food looked bland and the green Thai curry was possibly the worst I have ever eaten. Was very disappointed and will not be eating here again.. sorry..

We came here for my mother in laws birthday. Very friendly staff, Starters we had the sharing platter which we all said was really nice- For mains we had Duck thai curry green- chicken red curry- Pad thai all the food was Excellent we all said we would go back and also recommend

Visited Ann’s on Saturday 8th January for a birthday celebration we had a fabulous meal. All starters and main meals were very well presented with beautiful vegetable flowers and garnish. It was the first time we had visited but it will not be the last would recommend the restaurant to anyone who likes Thai food. The service was also very good and they could not do enough for us.

Best Thai restaurant around and as tasty as what you get in Thailand. We have had a few takeaways and eaten in a few times and never had a bad meal, the food is cooked perfect and never greasy. The prawn toast is the best I’ve ever tried. Lovely people as well that own the restaurant. Can’t recommend this place enough.

4 of us dined at Ann’s and we all had varied and delicious food. My 13 year old son was a bit apprehensive about what to order as it was his first visit but he absolutely loved it! We will be back!!!

Absolutely devastated.. ordered a takeaway this evening for me and a fellow friend. The flavours were brilliant, we were thoroughly enjoying our meals until my friend pulled a 3/4 inch hair out of his Panang Curry.. such a shame...

Always enjoy the freshness of the food which seems to be above most take-away food, having been to Thailand the food reminds us of being back there with6 it’s authenticity. Most oriental take aways offer Thai food, but not like this.

Visited Anne’s Thai at the back of the newly refurbished Bulls Head pub in Sedgley. Food was excellent, so fresh. Staff in both areas were so friendly and welcoming. Definitely going back. We need to support these local businesses!!

Excellent food quality, however poor delivery service being 1 hour late. This, despite ordering mid afternoon. Would recommend based on quality of the food, just be prepared for the wait if ordering on a Saturday night.

Our first order of Thai food, and it didn't disappoint. The meal was delicious. Had to wait a little longer than anticipated for the food to be ready for collection, but we didn't mind as it was worth the wait. We'll certainly be ordering from here again.

I went in on the off chance to order a 'takaway' meal for me and my wife. We normally go chinese, but I thought (in my strange wisdom) that going thai would be a different maybe better experiance. How wrong was I. I ordered 1...

We ordered a delivery for a family night in and soon realised that they had not delivered all the food. Instead of sending someone out with the correct food, they offered us a discount on the next order. We just made that order and were on the phone for 15 mins convincing them to give us the discount they’d promised. The food arrived and they got the order wrong again. Now they won’t answer the phone... avoid at all cost!!Terrible customer service and experience.

Tucked away at the rear of the Bull's Head pub, we found quite by chance this delightful Thai restaurant. An intended quick pub lunch turned into a truly delicious oriental feast. The set lunch menu is extensive and of high quality, yet surprisingly reasonable in cost. We enjoyed very authentic Thai food in a charming, comfortable and very clean setting. Friendly service too, and just over the road from a good sized public car park. It deserves to be much busier, and we look forward to our next visit.

The food here is absolutely delicious. I feel because it’s on the back on a old mans pub it doesn’t get the foot fall and praise it deserves. It’s not as off putting now the pub has been done up. The service was spot on too.

Found this place via trip advisor reviews. Wasn’t disappointed Went for birthday meal for my son. Both starters and main courses were very tasty. Very reasonable pricing. Waitress was lovely and very attentive. You wouldn’t know the restaurant was here as situated in the back of a pub. Good parking at back and also small car park at end of street. Would recommend for a nice meal out.

To walk in and be greeted with a smile and a pleasant "what can i get you ?" and that's all before being shown to a lovely clean restaurant that serve great food. don't be put off by the bar area the locals don't bite they are very friendly.

Have visited Ann's Thai restaurant many times and have never had a bad meal the service has always been excellent and the two course for £10.00 Mon - Thurs is a fanatic deal.

Superb and unusual. It’s a Thai restaurant at the back of a pub, but please do not be put off the food is delicious and the holdens beer is a great accompaniment.

I was so embarrassed when we took our family here!!! It’s very much you get in, eat very quickly and get out so they can get the next people in and make more money.. I’ve never been asked to leave a restaurant before we’d finished eating (I.e ordered our desert?! ) they said the next people were waiting and not happy?!

Anns Thai is one of my favourite places to eat out. The food is absolutely amazing! It's a very relaxed atmosphere and the service is great, you are always seen to as soon as you walk in.

The lady was very welcoming and patient with us to order as we were busy chatting.i had fish cakes nice tasting carved carrots etc lovely on the plate.my friend had sesame toast chunky pieces.we both had stir fry with egg noodles you can have chicken or pork.stirfry was so tasty.drinks are fetched from the bar and very reasonable.

The service was really not good.. food was nice, however after sitting at our table for an hour and eating starters, main meal and 2 rounds of drinks we were asked if we wanted a desert- we said yes, however we were told actually our table was booked and could we leave ASAP as the next people were waiting?! Very disappointing! Very rude and will never visit here again. Sausage factory mentality - cheap surroundings - i would not recommend at all

After visiting here with my family, we were rather impressed. The staff were very welcoming, pleasent and friendly. We were made to feel most welcome.

We visited as we were unable to get a table at Somai Thai. We were expecting great food after reading the reviews however the experience didn’t quite live up to what we had read. The restaurant itself is connected to the pub and very noisy as the doors remain open. Toilets are not in the best condition and carpet very tired and quite dirty. The waitresses were lovely but service was quite slow, despite the restaurant not being that busy when we arrived. We didn’t mind this too much however when the starters did come out they tasted quite nice but were luke warm, as the service had already been slow and we were hungry we ate the starters as they were. The mains came and whilst tasty they were very strong in flavour..... (apart from the noodles which had hardly any flavour to them other than oil as they were very oily). When we visited Thailand and when we visit Somai thai the flavours are slower to build in the mouth where as the food flavouring here we found quite harsh. This was probably personal taste so again we decided not to say anything as there was technically nothing wrong with the food, it was just not quite to our taste. When we returned home my husband had an upset tummy within 2hrs of leaving and I and my daughter had tummy ache all night and I had tummy ache continuing today. The only food we had all eaten the same of was from this restaurant and assume it to have something to do with the temperature/ cooking of the food. Until we all had tummy ache I would have rated 3 however reduced to a 2 due to the way we have suffered since. Nice staff but average food in unappealing, not 100% clean surroundings.

This restaurant is at the back of a pub. The pub is a very traditional Black Country Pub where the staff are both friendly and helpful , the bar is well stocked with Local Ale. The restaurant is small but the Staff and the Food cannot be faulted. The food is the best I have had since visiting Thailand. There is plenty of choice, and portions are good but best of all is the taste, DELICIOUS. Staff were both friendly and efficient could not fault this pub or restaurant and will definitely be visiting again shortly. Well worth a visit.

It’s quite nice Thai food served in the back room of a (pretty grim) pub. It’s tasty, it’s fairly priced, it’s small, it’s cramped. You pays your money, you takes your choice.

Just for a change a night out in Sedgley, A pint in the Beacon,this place speaks for its self cant not beat a pint of Ruby Mild before a Ruby :-) but tonight for a change a Thai restaurant tucked away in a pub "the Bulls Head" just down the road "what a little Gem i will guarantee you will go again" not exactly a plush restaurant and you may wait a while for the food but it is worth it, its all about the food,try and incorporate a set menu in your choice " minimum of 2 set price" with the bar in the pub for drinks this makes for a nice change from a indian

Have been here lot's of times. Sometimes use the pub just for good real ale, sometimes for the restaurant at the back. Booking for food is probably essential as it's so popular. I recommend trying one of the banquet menu's if there is 2 or more as the starters are great. Never had a bad meal - always been excellent, this is a gem of a place.

I visited Ann's Thai with 3 mates to finish off a social evening - it was quite fitting really as the establishment is effectively the rear room of the Bulls Head pub which is a traditional real ale pub (Holden's beer).

My husband and I chose to visit here for our 39th wedding anniversary. What a fantastic experience we had the food was superb the two lady members of staff were amazing but the clientele left alot to be desired talk about noisy I thought I was in the KOP at a field. I will go back but in the week.

We heard about this place through word of mouth. For the last few months we have drove past and discussed whether we should give it a go or not. The main reason why we hadn't already tried it was due to the outside appearance (restaurant is at the rear of the Bulls Head pub). Well what an absolute gem this turned out to be, we were all majorly impressed with would go as far to say 'its the best food I've eaten in years, if not ever!!'

Arrived late to an emptying restaurant but waitress happy to serve us. I had a spicy pork dish and friend had the sea bass. Amazing flavour and heat...fish was particularly good. The sauces were gorgeous and the jasmine rice hot and sticky. Not cheap when washed down with singha lager and a bottle of drinkable red but would love to return

Found out about this place 2 weeks ago and have been back twice since. Meal was tasty and fresh. Staff were so sweet and friendly. Absolutely love it. Well worth a vist. Plus seeing baby Jasmine the owners daughter was a bonus. Lovely smile.

Visited here with the family. Had a great meal. Tried the Pad Thai King Prawn with Jasmin Rice. Family had the Thai Green Curry. Elder members enjoyed it, daughter found it a bit hot for her but enjoyed it with the coconut rice. Only down side you do have to go through the bar to get to the eating steam could imagine on a Fri/Sat night could get a bit much but for a Thursday night no problem. Also do take outs. Fast and prompt service. Lovely owners. Very friendly

Came here for a birthday meal, booked a table for 8, However 3 of us couldn't make it's so they changed out table for a smaller one l, which wasn't an issue. When the food was served we were amazed at how good it tasted. Would definitely come here again. Love the food here.

We were visiting the Dudley area for 3 nights and are so glad we found this wonderful little restaurant. We were given a warm welcome and enjoyed the authentic Thai food so much we went back the next night. Ann came out of the kitchen to talk to us on both occasions. We highly recommend the restaurant and only wish we lived nearer but a 2 hour drive is just a bit too far! We will be planning another weekend break so we can eventually come back.

Simple surroundings but don’t be put off as the food was wonderful. Thai fishcakes and mixed starter were presented lovely and tasted good. Main meals were even better and the individual tastes found in Thai food were great. Mother and daughter team were very friendly. I googled this place from Germany and if you are ever in the area it is worth the visit. We obtained drinks from the bar as this restaurant is part of a pub and the building is in need of some renovation. Overlook this and concentrate on the food and friendliness of the people.

As everyone has previously mentioned this pleasantly quaint restaurant in accessed through a Holden's pub just a short distance from Sedgley Town Centre and visitor's should not be put off by this, as it is worthy of a visit.

We cancelled the order in the end as I called to ask if any of their food contains MSG. They initially said they could cook it without, but then someone else called me back to say all the sauces are pre made and therefore they could not provide any food without MSG. So much for fresh food! I would expect this from a takeaway establishment, but this place is a restaurant and I hoped for better, fresh food.
