Angry Crab Shack in City of London, Westminster

We booked Angry Crab Shack for our sons’ birthdays. We all enjoyed the fun of a large, messy mix of seafood. They had no problems catering for a gluten free diet. The drinks menu was limited but we enjoyed a Guinness which complemented the oysters. This is very messy eating & bibs are compulsory. Despite the gloves, hands do get dirty and I’m surprised there weren’t better toilet / wash facilities.

Absolutely disgusting their food was literally disgusting no taste or smell from it watery paste don’t know how to cook expecting way better experience cheaper, seafood for restaurants what I would rate a 10 out of 10 compared to this trust me, don’t waste your money and some of the staff absolutely disgusting rude, especially the manner manager, SK had the rudeness to ask me to pay my bill first like I was a tramp or something how dare he racism to its fullest? When he’s not even from England himself, he can even barely speak English. I feel disgusted in my own country I got asked to pay my bill first when it is not a pay first service I am a very nice person, and I treat people with respect, but the experience I had at this restaurant was absolutely disgraceful and for someone not even from my country to be manager and to try and talk down to me and a British citizen I think he thought I was from a different culture and try to be racist how dare he? I am so upset with this experience. I was treated so differently to everyone else I am a law, and citizen. To my country what is going on

The food just cannot be beaten i recommend anyone who enjoys seafood to try this place out. A must see restaurant in London i cannot recommend more.

This was a fun, tasty meal out. This was a new experience for us which we really enjoyed. The staff were helpful in helping us choose what to order. The food was lovely and the bibs were needed! It's a messy business. It isn't cheap but not surprising. This is definitely recommended as a special occasion.

My friend and I order the mix d bag to share.- or was £58. When we cracked open the crab, there was just foam and slime inside, when we queried this, we were told that some crabs come like this with no meat, which is appalling. There was no sorry or we will replace it. The corn was soft and soggy. As a result my friend and I now have food poisoning in which we’ve both had to miss a day at work due to not being able to leave the bathroom. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere that’s worth the money. Thoroughly disappointed and very sick

It was quite a nice experience. Felt a bit like at Bubba Gump in the US. You get to choose your seafood (crabs, shrimps, lobsters etc), your sauce and then the level of spicyness. You get an adult bib as well to make sure you don’t make a mess on your clothes. I even got an extra one as a souvenir. What I particularly enjoyed was that I didn’t get a table at first (it’s that popular), but they messaged me back when a table was available. I quite liked this approach.

This is the second visit my cousin and I paid to angry crab shack and we’ll definitely be back again! We had been running late due to a tube issue but our servers were really relaxed and understanding about it. The food is delicious, yes you are going to be paying a premium but the seafood is fantastic and the sauces are very flavourful. We tend to go for spice level 2 for the boil and then get spicier dipping sauces. The only thing I’d say is the first time we came when we ordered crispy tofu it was slightly crisp and it had absorbed so much flavour and was so juicy we loved it, this time the tofu was fried to oblivion and wouldn’t even slightly soften so I’d suggest not frying it so much as it’s almost hard to eat. The drinks are also really tasty, we particularly like the love shack cocktails. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Our second time here and the food never disappoints, you can’t get shellfish like this anywhere else it’s simply amazing. “Sk was our server who was really helpful with tasty recommendations!”

Long wait during the weekend but worth it. The food itself is so good. The spicy label can be adjusted according to u. Lovely cozy plqce where you can also ask for pen write your names on the wall

Ordered the 'Boil for King' and it was obvious from the taste that the seafood was not seasoned prior. It was later confirmed by the waiter that the seafood is boiled plain and then bagged with your chosen flavour, we chose 'trifecta'. Despite this being a mix of 3 flavours, it lacked flavour and was certainly not like any seafood boil I've had in the past (iykyk). Given how excited we were to go beforehand, we were disappointed that it didn't live up to the hype and isn't the best value for money. On the plus side, the cocktails were nice (we had T&G and Hurricane) and our waiter, SK, was super nice. He talked us through the menu and the various options. Atmosphere-wise, it is very cramped! Tables bunched up leaving little room to manoeuvre. You can hear your neighbouring diner's conversation and get splattered by a stray crab clipping or two (this happened to us). It is also worth noting that the toilets are really really tiny. Would I return, no. Would I recommend, no.

It’s great to find a restaurant that REALLY knows its food. The staff were very knowledgeable about the different dishes and sauces and absolutely spot on regarding which level of heat would suit us. All the shell fish was fresh and beautifully prepared. They give you a plastic bib and gloves which, trust me, are an absolute must. This meal is messy but OH SO GOOD!!!! Without a doubt I will be back.

My first time to eat a plate of seafood combo! Haven't seen such huge scrimps on a plate before. The food was good . Marjorie was very attentive, she made us feel very welcome.

Booking a large party proved problematic but we eventually succeeded and had a great experience. Lively atmosphere and friendly servers Good seafood and creative way of serving A fun experience we would be happy to repeat

I had a meal on Sunday 10th December 2023 around 6-6.30pm. The food is delicious. All the seafood is fresh and the crab is the best. But service so bad. A man who taking my order, he so rude with me. I can tell, he not welcome ASIAN people. He looked after table around me very well, smile, taking and recommended food with them. But not me he always frown, discontented ONLY my table. That's is horrible customer service. I never ever seen staff choose treat customer. Im so disappointed that you have a very bad staff. I'm not go back again.

We went there for the first time and we ordered Shrimp & Crab combo, was very tasty, delicious and Shresth K was very professional and has recomanded something very good. And thank you for the birthday cake! Thanks also to the chefs for delicious food!

Such a fun experience. The food was fantastic and the staff were really helpful. It was our first time and they helped us choose what to have in our boil bag. The seafood was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious.

Bit disappointed with the quality of the seafood. Lobster was over cooked. Food wasn’t hot. The sauce had nice flavour. Our server Marjorie was lovely, really helpful and very friendly. She was the star ⭐️

Absolutely first class service, no price gouging, great advice for people eating a seafood boil for the first time. The food is wonderful, the options for assortment very good. Thank you very much, it was a great experience. There are kids-menues what is absolutely nice for children.

Found this place on TikTok and booked up to go with my daughter. We had the most amazing experience. Never seen anything like it before. The seafood boil is an absolute taste sensation and such a novel way to eat. Hats off to Shresth, our waiter. He really made it to be honest as we wouldnt of had a clue what and how to order. He explained it all and advised us based on questioning our likes. I can't speak for your waiters/waitresses but ask for Shresth, he was brilliant!
