Angie's Little Food Shop in Ealing

Visited Angie's on 30th December and ordered eggs benedict and Turkish eggs. The Turkish eggs were particularly noteworthy - an enormous portion of delicious creamy eggs mixed with slithers of red pepper, feta cheese and served on sourdough. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict was also very well done indeed. My earl grey tea was presented in a very unusual and elegant way and I also enjoyed a refreshing mimosa made with freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff here are efficient, cheerful and go out of their way to ensure customers have an enjoyable experience. We will return to work our way through the rest of the enticing menu!

My wife and myself - together with one of our relatives visiting from the US - had brunch earlier today in Chiswick. With the reputation of having the best coffee in Chiswick we opted for Angie’s Little Food Shop on Chiswick High Road. I can confirm that the coffee was certainly very good as was my toasted Banana Bread (served with more banana, blueberries & yoghurt) was equally delicious. Service was also first rate so not difficult to see why this is such a popular local eatery - one I should certainly be happy to return to.

Service ok but given the 12.5% service charge, and already over priced food, I'd then the service is considerably poor and food quite average. One small salad off the counter (pasta salad and turkey kofta) Scrambled egg with burnt halloumi 1 coffee (just an americano with cows milk) A grand total of £43.00! Won't be going again.

Wonderful and delicious fresh vegetarian and meat based options and great service. I have been many times and Angie’s never disappoints 👌🏻

We had the smashed avocado with egg on toast and a classic Bennie. Both very good. The coffees were excellent - no filter. Pastries looked interesting but we didn’t go there. A great addition to the High Street since I was last there over 3 years ago. The service is a bit hectic around 9 to 10 with breakfast, but I get the impression it’s like that most of the time. We will look forward to going back again,

A friend took me here this afternoon and it’s a great find. Located at the less busier end of Chiswick High road Annie’s Little Food Shop (ALFS) is a very friendly & homely cafe. The staff are great and all seem very happy & chilled. It’s not huge so it can get very busy quickly. There’s a wide range of drinks on offer - including Sipsmith’s Gin. Food wise everything is prepared fresh and to order. There’s a wide selection of dishes available. The toasted banana bread is amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

We decided to have lunch here after seeing all the beautiful salads. They were super fresh and the portions were quite generous. Lovely staff and service. If you are a salad lover it will not disappoint. We also had a sandwich and it was also very tasty. Good healthy food.

Had a quick bite to eat for dinner at Angie’s tonight. Often come here for breakfast or lunch but never for dinner. It was a delightful surprise! Nice cocktails, good ambience with candlelight and decent music and an excellent menu. Plenty to choose from with creative and healthy options. This is just how you’d want your neighbourhood restaurant to be. An excellent choice for a tasty bite to eat with friends or a low key dinner when you’re just catching up with a friend l, one on one. I highl recommend! Enjoy!

This place is amazing! 4 years that I live in Chiswick and when I have the chance I always go there for brunch! Staff is very nice, food and ambience too! Can't wait to go back!

We happened on Angie's having been on the Sipsmith's Distillery Tour nearby... it looked so warm and welcoming on a chilly November evening that we had to go in and so glad we did. We were warmly welcomed and didn't want to leave; the food was delicious as was the wine. I just wished I lived nearer to go again

We knew Angie’s for great breakfasts but spotted it open for dinner on way back from cinema (French Dispatch is genius). Dinner is a different and even better experience. Three of us and we each had different choices. Everything was excellent. Imaginative flavours (I am vegetarian, the others are omnivorous). Chocolate fondant was perfect and the wines were refreshingly not the standard choices. Very friendly team. Please try it!

Called to try and book for 7 people for brunch. Was told that they don't do bookings for brunch. When enquired as to why (as clearly you can't just show up to a small restaurant as 7 people and hope they have a table) I was told in a very rude and dismissive manner 'It's my restaurant and that's my system'. Won't be going there then!

It is on the main street in Chiswich so that they can attrack some random customers. The table layout in this restaurant is pretty much tight that you (and others) overhear what you & others speak. You just make yourself a bit thin to squeze yourself when you decide to leave since tables are very much close to each other. This restaurant is pretty unorganised that they ask your name to write it to waiting queue but they do not organise&follow up the queue. It happened to me that we have been waiting while somebody random just came and just sat wherever she wanted. I asked the staff about the queue status pointing out that somebody later than us just has taken a table. Their answer was that -the tables are available now, you can any table you like-. They even did not care my objection. The staff was mean after my objection to this unfair treatment. The food is OK. It is kinda fusion without any theme. The staff is not detail oriented that they forgot to serve milk (even ask) with tea despite the tea that I ordered was a chai (Indian tea, always goes with milk).

Went here for lunch this week and ordered 3 salad combo. Service was poor, not friendly and they forgot to bring one item. Was shocked to get a service charge of 12.5% on top of the prices which are already high! This is a glorified cafe not a restaurant so I don't understand why their is a service charge. They refused us even tap water bottle on our table. Rude Manager. Plenty of other nice places in Chiswick to go too won't be returning.

The most ridiculous experience I ever had. From the rudeness of the coffee waitress to the owners. Never will come back again. Not recommended at all

It's been a very, very long time since I've ventured to Angie's Little Food Shop, having been an enthusiastic customer when it first opened.The reason I stopped going is that Angie herself has snapped at me twice - once as I was holding a baby, she snapped saying that his shoes should not go near the table, a second time, on a busy day, when asking to be seated upon arrival, I was told that I would have to have the other party with me (he was five minutes away) before I could be seated. It wasn't just rude. There was another layer to this.If other visible ethnic minorities experience treatment like this, please do leave a review. I experienced this as racism, as there seemed to be an irrational, instant dislike for who I was, based just on my appearance.Chiswick is not known for its ethnic diversity. Nevertheless, we are still in London which prides itself on its inclusion and tolerance.I hope others speak up too.

I came here with my flatmates and was appalled with the unprofessional attitude and hygiene with this cafe. My drink was served to me with a fly in it and when I asked for a new one I was told I would have to pay for it, even though it was served to me like this & I hadn’t drunk out of it. I was told under the servers breath that there wasn’t a fly there when she made it. They had a bad attitude all round which is a shame during this time as we wanted to support a small business. To top the experience off they added a 12.5% service charge on our bill which I never have a problem paying but I thought was cheeky as they were very aware that we weren’t happy with the serve provided.

It's just amazing and so delicious, I order a halloumi avocado toast with fries and a cappuccino and I can tell you I was full after. The restaurant is really pretty and calm ( plus pet-friendly ) the servers are nice and takes a lot of precautions with the virus.I recommend this restaurant for a brunch with friends or just on your own and I will come back for sure!

Mi café favorito en Londres, si alguna vez estás en Chiswick buscando un brunch / almuerzo o incluso solo café y pastel, no podría recomendarlo más. La comida aquí es de primera, cocinada y preparada en el lugar por personas que realmente parecen preocuparse; combinaciones típicamente clásicas, ¡pero muy bien hechas! Dependiendo de su estado de ánimo o de su gusto, preparan ensaladas impresionantes, saludables y sabrosas, que varían según la temporada, o si se siente un poco más travieso / hambriento, preparan un puñado de deliciosos clásicos de la 'comida reconfortante', como el maíz buñuelos y pollo con suero de leche. También puede probar la calidad de los ingredientes, por ejemplo, el queso de cabra en la bruschetta es uno de los mejores que he probado. A real gem in Chiswick for brunch and lunch. Beautifully made food using delicious ingredients. Amazing poached eggs, avocado, sourdough bread and maple bacon. Lovely friendly staff.

Gorgeous range of brunch dishes to suit both savoury and sweet preferences. I went for the avo on toast with poached egg and mushrooms and it was delish. Pretty fairly priced considering its an independent and London based.

Great quaint little spot for coffee and food - the prices are very reasonable for the big portions. Salads are really recommended and waitress called Nancy was really helpful and lovely!!

Only popped in for a coffee, ended up with some granola as well. Nice little place, all food being served looked appetising. Will be back to sample some of the lovely healthy salads they had on display. Cakes looked delicious too

This used to be our usual spot on weekends... but not anymore. We got turned away very rudely by Angie Steele (the owner) after asking for a table for 3. Service wasn’t as great in the past year, but that didn’t stop us until today. Brew a few doors down will get our business moving forward, which is a shame since we ordered always the same things at Angie’s and loved it so much. Parlé Pantry’s salads are just as good - just across the street.

Living locally, I’ve been here a number of times. This cafe is excellent for a delicious brunch and coffee. They have a variety of different milks and gluten free alternatives.

I couldn’t decide between the warm plain scones and the caramel shortbread so I had both and no regrets!

Pequeño local con encanto, que de precio moderado, ofrece comida casera hecha al momento. Salimos encantados. We have visited Angies probably 10 times. I'm giving it an average rating because some days the food and service is exceptional and other days the food is just average!

After a glowing recommendation from Dean the deputy manager at the Chiswick Best Western we strolled across to Angie’s and boy are we glad we did.

Lo que un lugar genial para comer. Mi esposa encontramos en Tripadvisor con excelentes comentarios, así mientras que en Chiswick decidimos ir para un desayuno tardío. La cafetería/restaurante es pequeño y pintoresco. Carácter encantador en la carretera con la mesa extraño fuera en la acera. Desde el exterior, es un lugar muy modesto y fácil de caminar por lo que podía. Probablemente estar unas 40 personas, nos las arreglamos para sat enseguida aunque supongo que puede tener que esperar algunas veces. Pero vale la pena. Teníamos un té caliente y café, pasteles y quebrado de arándanos aguacate en pan fermentado. El té viene en una pequeña habitación individual tetera y una botella de leche que te lleva de vuelta minúsculo a los días de escuela. Encantador. De forma similar, el café viene en un vaso de vidrio de estilo.

The toasts are generous and healthy. It can get a bit noisy/busy at lunch time, but it's worth it. And they sell lovely ceramics.

Sólo me dijeron que ha sido por 3 años. No vayas allí. . . . aléjate. . . Porque si estás allí no podría conseguir una mesa y que no sería. Seriamente, aunque este lugar es el mejor. No tengo más que decir.

Love this place. Wild mushrooms on toast is so tasty. Service is excellent and they do a mean gin and tonic. Also super dog friendly.

I stopped here for breakfast this morning before my meeting. The decor is really sweet with pottery for sale on the walls. The first thing you see are the amazing cakes and pastries. Super big portions and they all looked lovely! I had wild mushrooms on toast with a poached egg and baked tomatoes. It was superb! So tasty and a really great portion size.

Was greeted by a lovely girl who was really helpful for my mom who is vegetarian. She went through the menu and was happy to talk about the options. Food was amazing, per usual. Such a great variety for gluten free! I can’t wait to try all the different cakes!

Popped in for lunch and a coffee, had a blt, absolutely delicious, crammed with bacon, homemade bread mouth wateringly luscious comfort food.

Having visited Angie’s last year I took the opportunity to drop in again. Even more delicious cakes on display but I would particularly recommend the gruyere and ham croissant served hot, garnished with peas shoots - a real winner! Well done Angie’s.

El zumo de naranja y mejor marido disfrutó su café, se puede decir que teníamos dos de cada una. Nos tomamos el desayuno torta de maíz y las tortitas y arándanos tanto muy bien hecho y presentado disfrutamos ambos un lugar muy concurrido, pero las mesas estaban pronto aclaro para los nuevos clientes, con muy buen ambiente.

Vamos a Angie cada seis semanas más o menos. El restaurante es pequeño, con un precioso ambiente creativo. Venden pósters y cerámica que doble como la decoración. El servicio es siempre amable y eficiente. La comida es una de las mejores en Chiswick, y eso es decir algo, dada la competencia.

As a local I've been to Angie's before and been happy with the food and service. However after today's performance I'll never be going back. Walked in and wasn't even acknowledged. Asked the lady if I could sit down, "yes" was her reply. This was the only word she said to me during the visit. A hello would of been nice...

Popped in for a quick bite and a coffee to go. Thoroughly impressed with the quality and service I received. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

Hemos probado casi todos los brunch en Chiswick y Angie Es lejos mi lugar favorito. El salmón ahumado bruschetta es excelente. Incluso sub bacon para bruschetta (por un poco más de £) si estoy evitando el pan! El personal siempre es impresionante, también.

It's not bad place to eat but it's biggest draw back is the seating there's not a lot space to swing a cat

Delizioso ristorantino londinese situato a Chiswick, zona residenziale molto tranquilla ed elegante nella zona Ovest della città. Si trova sulla strada principale ed è a due passi dalla stazione metro di Turnham Green, sulla District line. Ottimi piatti preparati con sapienza e fantasia e con particolare predilezione per le verdure e i condimenti. Si nota grande attenzione alla genuinità dei cibi e conoscenza degli ingredienti. I cuochi saranno sicuramente dei veri professionisti. Consiglio vivamente le uova Benedict, o la bruschetta con polpa di granchio e verdurine. Si può fare colazione al mattino con dolci vari e buonissimi, naturalmente accompagnati da un ottimo cappuccino. Da provare le spremute di frutta. Atmosfera rilassata e very brithish. Interni dai colori vivaci con belle stampe colorate e ceramiche artistiche alle pareti. Servizio inappuntabile, personale​ carino e gentilissimo. La mia impressione è che sia un luogo molto gradito ai residenti. I prezzi non sono quelli che ci si aspetta in una zona chic di Londra. Complimenti vivissimi allo staff.

Siempre he querido visitar este pequeño lugar y definitivamente vale la pena el viaje. Sus sabrosas sin gluten granola con yogur de vainilla y compota de bayas fue simplemente deliciosa. El personal era amable y el ambiente allí era realmente genial. Yo combinaba mi granola con un capuchino descafeinado que era soja igualmente delicioso. Sin duda, viniendo rápidamente.

AFLS is hands down the best cafe in West London, and arguably London itself. Food, service, atmosphere, it ticks all the boxes. You're always greeted with smiles and a warm welcome, the service is flawless! For a regular it makes you feel like you're in a second home. I have referred to it as home away from home before.It's super kid friendly but also a good escape if you're into solo dining. Not only is there every day menu a treat, the seasonal salads are always a pleasant surprise on a day to day basis. Angie definitely knows how to do an amazing salad. My personal fave, the avo toast, beats any that I have had in Melbourne (in my opinion brunch capital of the world) so that's saying something. They also sell really fun, funky, cool ceramics which are great as gifts!!! Angie's is a must visit spot!!

Went here for an early lunch as my girlfriend had wanted to try it for a while. I wasn't expecting much as all I'd ever seen when walking past was huge bowls of salad and cakes. So in we went and were nicely greeted by the team and seated at a table near the counter. It's a nice decor that feels fresh and relaxing. I went for the B.L.T.C which is a BLT with gruyere cheese and harissa mayo and I have to say it was by far the best BLT I've ever had, I wanted to order a second one but I was too full/embarrassed. My girlfriend ordered the eggs benedict and was equally happy. I can really see now why this place is so popular and we will definitely be going back.

I love their fresh salads. Their staff is really lovely and the space is nice. Some baked goods are delicious but some are average. Most of their brunch options are great. They don't get a 5 because I think it's a bit pricey and not every dish is amazing.Overall it's a favorite for us though. The corn fritters brunch, the salad with chicken supreme, and the walnut bread with espresso butter are faves!

A lovely little eatery with super clean loos, changing facilities and baby chairs! The food is scrumptious and very fresh; especially like unlimited carafes of chilled water. Both savoury and sweet options offer generous portions - cakes a bit pricey but worth it!Ceramics on sale, very attractive. Highly recommend for brunch or tea.

The food here is fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. We really couldn't fault it.I love pancakes so chose the hotcakes for breakfast. When they arrived, there were three fluffy, light hotcakes (like a cross between a pancake and a scone). The outsides were lightly crisped (caramelised, maybe?) and the insides warm and fluffy. A small separate dish contained an espresso mascarpone cream. An additional little bottle contained a sweet cinammon vanilla sauce. It was all beautifully presented but also fun - it's nice to be able to add as much or as little sauce as I want to my food.My partner had avocado smash, which was again presented in an appetising manner. The addition of flakes of chili gave the avocado smash just a little zing too.Our lattes were good (better than Nero, Costa, Starbucks) too with milk that was perfectly warmed yet not scorched.Service was friendly and efficient. And the prices are very reasonable for good that is so tasty and accomplished.And the venue is dog friendly too. Both the waiter and the chef who brought our food offered our dog water without us needing to ask for it.There were several dishes we would like to try on a return visit. We look forward to coming here again in the near future.

Use to live in chiswick for a couple years, after a couple months scoping out the best coffee house with food and a great atmosphere and decor, angies won hands down. The menu is fresh, definitely advise the crab bruschetta. The fresh salads on the bar change every day and I've never seen a bad one! In the summer or when its a bit warmer there shop front windows open and make it a great spot in the sun. 5 stars all day

I've tried so many brunch restaurant and I can easily say that this is my favourite.Gorgeous plates, super tasty at small prices, what else?

Ci siamo stati un paio di volte per colazione e siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Piccolo locale pulito e ben curato, in stile rustico. Buon cappuccino e amplia scelta di dolci. Abbiamo visto portare anche piatti con cibo più sostanzioso stile appunto anglosassone. I prezzi un po alti per una colazione standard italiana.

Questo piccolo locale, come già dice il suo nome, regala emozioni! Entri e il bancone ricolmo di dolcetti di ogni sorta e genere ti rapisce la vista e il cuore....le ceramiche e le decorazioni del negozio sono sofisticate e infondono un senso di leggerezza e armonia.Abbiamo quasi sempre fatto colazione dolce....(i brownies sono semplicemente meravigliosi) fuorché una mattina che ho optato per il croissant salato...che dire? Piacevole anche quello! Come ti siedi ti offrono la bottiglia di acqua con due bicchieri. Se siete italiani provare il cappuccino perché molto molto simile al nostro e molto più grande!

I come to Angies more regularly than any other place in London because it's my local but also because the staff, food and service are all perfect. My dog is as welcome than I am, (if not more so, which I'm fine with!) and they are always so accommodating. Angie the chef is an exceptional cook, with a very strong background in well known world class restaurants.The food is always super fresh, and delicious - from amazing breakfast dishes to salads and wonderful cakes. The vibe is really cute, relaxed and informal - I just wish every area in London had an Angies - but then everyone would know about it so perhaps not!I've shared this place with all of my friends in Chiswick and London, but try not to overshare it - us locals need a seat every weekend!

Did a towpath walk on a Saturday morning and stopped off here for breakfast on the way home. Lucky to get a table at this popular establishment. Expensive but worth it. The standard of the food is unfailingly high. The service is cheerful and efficient. My friend wanted to go to the dreaded High Road House instead. I think she'll be going here in future.

One of the best breakfasts I had whilst on holiday in London! The interior was just as lovely! Really enjoyed this place.

Sono stata qui una domenica per il tradizionale brunch e nulla da eccepire! Ho preso le uova alla Benedict e che dire... semplicemente fantastiche! Aspetto molto invitante e gustose dal primo all'ultimo morso. Sia quelle tradizionali col bacon, sia la variante con il salmone. Non ho provato dolci, ma avevano un aspetto molto buono. Gustoso anche il cappuccino! Il locale è minuscolo e molto accogliente, caldo e tranquillo. Lo consiglio!

Just had some tea, but even there it was pretty good - the biggest collection of Teapigs I've ever seen, even in a supermarket. Wifi didn't seem to work, alas. Great place to people watch along the high street in nice weather.

I had a fantastic brunch meal at Angie’s Little Food Shop in Chiswick. I don’t normally have brunch but when I do I always like to have a good one and this one didn’t disappoint.It’s a small modern café which was 80% full when we were there however there was still plenty of room to move around and I never felt too crowded. They offered free fast Wi-Fi as well which was a bonus and service was quick.I ordered the blueberry pancakes and syrup and was fantastic! The portion size was brilliant too and managed to fill me up brilliantly. I also had a cappuccino and fresh orange juice which was equally tasty.This is a great place to spend a Sunday morning and couldn’t recommend it enough.Reply Reply to All Forward More

Had a lovely salad lunch here with a couple of girlfriends. The salads looked gorgeous and tasted delicious, the portions were very generous. Finished off with a chocolate brownie and coffee. The perfect lunch venue.

Came here with my girlfriend on a sunny autumn afternoon. Was lovely being able to sit outside on octobre the 3th. Coffee is wel made, Little bit strong for my Taste but that was not due to the barista. The girl that served us was really friendly! Home made lemonade was good! Nice, cosy interior Would come here again.

Di fronte al nostro hotel abbiamo scoperto questo piccola caffetteria in cui puoi trovare delle cose buonissime, sia salate che dolci. Noi abbiamo optato per una colazione classica con dei cupcake e croissant davvero ottimi e bellissimi! Tutto il bancone, però, sarebbe da mangiare:) Gentilissimo e simpaticissimo il personale!

The homemade food in this store looks so good that I had to stop for a break before work. I had the hot buns and it was so good. The plates and the service is over average. I will come back.

Staying in local hotel. Thought we'd check this out for breakfast. Yum yum yum great food huge portions justify the price. Service fair staff nice and friendly

Love love love this place - lovely coffee, salads and cakes! Friendly staff who make you feel so welcome. It can get quite busy around lunchtime so worth going in earlier before the salads come out at 12,30.

What a great find! Had brunch today here and it was delicious! Really cute way they serve the tea and coffee with eclectic china and cute little bottles for the milk. The wild mushrooms and poached egg on toasted brioche was devine. My hubby had two poached eggs on toast which wasnt on the menu but immediately accepted as an alternative choice-no question. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and accomodating.Thankyou x

I've been here three times, once with my husband and twice with girlfriends. So needless to say, I'm a fan. The menu is simple but very much to my taste with fresh salads that change daily plus sourdough, avocados, eggs and crab galore! Its excellent for brunch.The food being freshly hand made does mean the ingredients vary in flavour sometimes. I once had the crab cakes which were wonderful, but the second time i had them they were so spicy i had to swap dishes with my husband because I couldn't eat it! (it was still delicious though and he finished every last bite).Another excellent thing they have are a range of gluten free cakes which are decorated beautifully. I'm hoping there will be more dairy free cakes in the future!The decor is cute and features little succulents on the tables and hand painted plates on the walls. The seating is a little cramped but it doesn't bother me too much, however i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who has a lot of shopping with them or a pram as there is zero space beyond the edge of your table before the next one starts. They do have a cute little kids menu but for ladies with babies in prams its not a big enough venue. As lovely and charming as this place is, the staff are not. Don't take it personally, they are just miserable. When arriving you really have to grab the attention of the dark-haired lady who is usually behind the bar to get the waiter to show you to a table and they look at you like you're crazy for interrupting whatever it is their messing about with behind the counter. The waiter once tried to show us to the corner bar on the high stools saying 'this is all we have' when there were two free tables at the front of the cafe, one was dirty and one was clean. We basically ignored him and said 'we are sitting over here if thats ok' and sat down. He then didn't bring us menus so we grabbed some off another table. Trying to order is a similar exercise in frustration. This could be a perfect little place, but the attitude of the staff simply does not go with the 'vibe' the cafe is trying to carry and its letting Angie's down. Despite this I will continue to visit Angie's and take my friends there, I only wish she'd sort her team out and get them to learn how to damn smile at least!

The look of the place is just like the food amazing however as it is such a small shop sitting is minimal so get their before the rush hour to avoid disappointment

Beautifuuly decorated, clean, friendly cafe, presentation is exceptional.. We stayed in Chiswick for four days and visited this cafe every morning and afternoon! Brownies are the best we've ever had. Breakfast is delicious, served with good coffee and leaf tea. Fresh orange juice is superb. We love the decor and the paintings. The young lady who served us each morning was particularly good. We just wish we lived nearby!
