Chez Maiss in Ealing

Great restaurant very near theatre we were going to. Not very extensive menu but something for everyone - meat, fish and vegetarian options. Reasonable price for London and a bottle of wine was good price as well. All staff were attentive and very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

The staff were very friendly and extremely quick with their service, especially as we were a larger group. Our food was fantastic and we would all definitely recommend. One of our colleagues has a shellfish allergy and the staff were very attentive to this and we feel took all measures to ensure she felt safe and comfortable. Many thanks for a lovely dinner :)

Had a great meal here last night. Food was delicious and very reasonably price. We didn’t catch our waitress with the curly hair’s name but she was amazing. Very attentive, friendly and helpful with the menu.

The staff could not have been nicer, but the food was average at best. A risotto was stodgy with over-cooked prawns, while another dish had reasonable fish with an over salted polenta.

This restaurant was a lovely place to eat before going to any shows at the Apollo theatre. Staff are friendly, the food is delicious and reasonably priced.

Great Middle Eastern food. The head waiter was very friendly, and even asked us to sample some of his trial run xmas dishes (the Turkey was very good!). Good service, good food. Highly recommended!

This spot is amazing for a casual night out! Had the Arancini with a glass of wine that was recommended by the lovely server (delicious!)

Amazing calamari & croquet (coming 3), like crispy. Humus and flatbread too with a generous portion of hummus. I tried a lavender cocktail, very aromatic. The place is quiet and a nice environment to meet up with friends and also for business meetings is also a great option. The staff is very nice and very into detail. It's a restaurant/coffee place very convenient if you are in Hammersmith station. Thanks a lot

Amazing vegan “crab”/calamari like crispy situation on the menu. The humous and flat bread was incredible too. Was very happy with the food, highly recommend

The food quality was excellent. 2 of us had the Prawn Lime and Cheese risotto which was fabulous and so was the cheeseburger . The staff was friendly and the food came quickly and well made, The ambiance was a bit dark for our liking my the music was played at the right volume even though the restaurant was not full. Price for the food was just right not expensive for what we received. Will visit again.

This nice little restaurant is located on the outside of the shopping mall that is over Hammersmith underground station and the bus terminus. Inside the mall along with a few shops there are several take away fast food places but just on the outer side you can find this charming place where you can sit and eat pretty good food. It is quite small and there are not many tables so it is probably a good idea to book in advance. We had not been before and just walked in, there were none available but the very pleasant waitress offered a seat at either the bar or a window counter which we readily accepted as eating here was a great option because we were then going on to a watch a show at the Apollo theatre, which is literally just across the road from this restaurant. There was while we were there a nice bit of entertainment here as there was a young jazz singer performing for the diners and were we not going elsewhere would had stayed a while to listen more to her. The food was good and come in good time enabling us to have a leisurely meal before our show. Excellent and we look forward to a repeat performance so to speak.

We went for a dinner at chez maiss. The location is wonderful, there are candles on each table that create a magical atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, professional and attentive. The cuisine is superb and authentic. Can’t wait to visit again

What a lovely restaurant with superb service and great food. My aunt was visiting London for the day and was very delayed. The staff were wonderful in accommodating our complicated requests and timings and allowed us to stay for over 3 hours. The food was excellent too. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

Arrived and were sat at the bar for food as all tables were occupied apart from outside. Ordered lasagne and mac and cheese. Another couple we had spoken to earlier came in about 25mins after we sat down and were offered a table behind us at the bar (we hadn't been offered to move despite my daughter being 11). We then waited for 40mins for our food while the couple behind us got their food in 15mins. Bar staff were apologetic and gave us a small discount as we had to eat in 10mins to get to our show. Food was bland with no sides or veg. Lasagne was literally cheap mince layered with a decent amount of cheese and the truffle mac was so truffle filled you could taste it for hours later with slightly hard macaroni swimming about in it. We won't be back.

The food was tasty. It's a nice place to eat something light along with a gkass of wine after work. They have small portions though so maje sure you get more than one. Especially the fried calamari was delicious 😋

Chez Maiss has a friendly ambiance and short menu, but good Mediterranean style offerings. I enjoyed beef koftas and a side salad. The service was excellent.
