The beef burger, chips, cheesy chips, samosa was nice my partner said. They did there best I ordered a leek and cheese PIE - they sent a cheese and onion slice so I didn't go hungry (which is a really lovely thought, thank you) I then ordered a American apple pie 😊- I got a mcdonalds look-a-like apple pie/fruit pie. I then ordered luxury double cream 😋- theu sent me elmlea double 270ml alternative to cream. After the money I spent and the description of items I am disappointed!!

I couldn't see the time when it was delivered.

Food arrived late and wasn't satisfactory. It was luke warm and soggy.

Food never arrived! Want a full refund! Order from here regular aswell so to just mess us about this late at night is bang out of order, it’s now 10:45 and iv got to now go cook something!! WHY ACCEPT THE ORDER JUST TO GET MY MONEY!!!

this is the first time I've had a bad experience. so will just put down to a one off. I normally order mixed meat and chips for less than £10. I went big today and ordered a mixed kebab with no salad, upgraded too. Got large chips to go with it. cost over £17. the kebab came and was full of salad, so much that the meat ratio was so bad, that my normal £10 order has more. so I basically paid £7 for a pitta, salad, less meat and a few more chips

Not only was this order late Cold and soggy I do not expect to be shouted at over the phone by a very rude man and hung up on 3 times I will not be using you again and will expect a call from the manager about this matter asap

No salad with the kebab, kebab was dripping in grease. Pinapple fritter was soggy and portions were very small. On this occasion we were very very disappointed. Chips were lovely. We have had lots of orders from here and unfortunately this has put me off ordering agin. £ 33 and most of it in the bin.

Excellent food as always but we chose no salt and vinegar and a cob with no butter. Very disappointing to get food covered in salt and a cob with butter which had melted into the bread.

Piping hot food, definitely get your money's worth! Fish was gorgeous!

Had a message through the app to say that the food was on its way, a 10-15 minute journey max. Arrived 30 minutes later, stone cold and inedible.

Fish was quite dry, unusual for Angies. everything else was spot on as usual

Cod great quality, delicious and hot. Chips were lukewarm which is a shame. Chip portion is small. Have ordered from devonshire fisheries and their portions are larger, but the cod from here is better. Have ordered 3 times now and the chips have not been warm enough which is a shame.

Something went wrong. At 21.15 it stated food was on its way. I went to put something in outside bin and found food hanging on door. The food was stone cold so had been there for a while. The delivery estimate was 21.10 to 21.30 but must have come much earlier. Do not know what happened.

Came 10 mins after estimated time. Was lukewarm which was a shame as the fish was very good quality. When paying this price I would expect it to be hot.

they almost delivered it to the wrong flat and didn't even apologise, the food was cold when we eventually got it and my cob was rock hard.

Man delivery driver didn’t have change so only gave me some of my change 🤬😡

Order was late, said it had been delivered so waited 15 minutes and then called to chase. Gentlemen was rude, just said they were very busy and order was on its way and put the phone down on me. Order arrived a further 10 minutes later and it was cold.

we usually enjoy angies chips but they tasted quite dry and old should I say this time ? wasn't very hot either. the beans were very very dry 😕 and lukewarm, same with the curry sauce . hubby enjoyed the quarter roast chicken ,I had a veggie pancake roll which I always enjoy . but very disappointed in chips and sauces this time around .

Food cold when delivered so was binned .shop said they would refund that's not happened.was ridiculously late .had to cook something for us to eat .

Order quite often for fish and chips lovely tasty fish can’t complain. Wanted a little something different this time so had kabab unfortunately will not be ordering then again meat had no flavour very dry and unfortunately very small portion even for a large kabab and chips was still hungry. Also had 2 peace chicken ( chicken was lovely not very greasy lovely flavour). I was unfortunately very disappointed with my order on this occasion.

Order arrived 45 mins late. Food was cold and took 20 min to get though on the phone only to be spoken to rudely. Only got part of money refunded through just eat and lost my discount

Food was undercooked and extremely greasy. Never had an issue before more than a drink being missing but the food was inedible. Wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't as much as it was.

Fish was cold and over cooked. Kebab was made with pitta when I ordered naan. Used Angies before and it was nice but this time not good at all.

Sadly the only thing good about this was the quick delivery. The saveloy sausage was Luke warm. The chips were dry and too hard and the pineapple fritter soggy. Shame because this chippy used to be so good 😞

The food was late, cold and a mush.

Orderd for parents as I recommended angies as usually nice chips however on this occasion they were very dry and a lot of more small bits of chip like hard ones / overcooked ones . It was just the chips that let it down the cod ,peas and curry sauce were very nice. Would of been much better if they had been freshly cooked chips within a short period of time before delivery .

Took sooooo long to arrive. Food was soggy. Mushy peas are so watered down and chips tasted a day old. Straight in the bin. Complete waste of money

Not up to the usual standard. Quite disappointed. The samosas were very greasey. Sent the wrong ice cream and the calamari was rubbery.

I forget to not order from Angies on a Monday. Usually this is the beat fish and chips and burgers and samosa for us but always on a Monday we receive appalling food. Our chips tasted of yoghurt. How on earth can you make chips taste like yoghurt? That's almost impressive culinary Olympics. Unfortunately I have discovered I don't like chips that taste of yoghurt. It was both portions not just one which was surprising. I have a donner kebab in a nan but although there was masses of donner meat, always a plus, the nan was solid on one half and chewy on the other. Glad I don't have fillings. The salad in the kebab tasted like it was either yesterdays or had been waiting around all day for me to order in the evening. This is so not like our usual amazing food from Angies so we just won't be ordering on a Monday ever. The battered sausage was OK though and food was still very hot. Even my can of pepsi. Please have confidence in ordering on any other day, you will not be dissapointed.
