Angies Fish & Chips in Charnwood

Very pleasant courier and excellent quality food as always.

My first time ordering from Angies Fish & Chips and I chose this chippy as it is listed as a Local Legend so my expectations were high. The fish was only a half size, a lot of the chips were dry and hard along with the batter on the sausage.

The service is great,staff is friendly,relatively clean,top notch Fish and Chips. Definitely recommend to people visiting loughborough and friends who havent eaten there before.

Food would have been lovely had it been hot, or even slightly warm, but you could tell as soon as it arrived the food had been sitting on the car for the 30 mins it was late by. It’s a shame, as I think it would have been a nice meal.

tryed the jacket potatoe in the hope it was oven baked 😋 , sadly it was not it had been microwaved. so they just don't taste good when microwaved unfortunately. hubbie had fishcake chips and gravy and he said all was good.

Gave me mushy peas instead of curry sauce. Doner kebab was cold and like cardboard

Food was hot and tasty. Didn’t have salt and vinegar on one of the meals which was requested and I received the wrong drink. Not a big deal but would’ve liked a call to ask what drink I would like if the one I ordered wasn’t available

I have ordered the mixed kebab with nan and 2 times from this place and there's no nan bread at all whats the point of saying it comes with it but when it turns up nothing is there. just disappointed. Will NOT ordering from you ever again.

My 1st time placing an order with Angies Fish Bar Loughborough, via Just Eat .I did leave instructions for driver to call me upon arrival,in order that I could be outside to meet him,at the rear entrance to my property. But he didn't phone me prior to his arrival, fortunately I was outside my back door,& saw him arrive.May I suggest when instructions are left for delivery, that they are honoured & followed through by the company I ordered from.

requested delivery for 6.35 pm however arrived at 6.10 pm . would have preferred delivery at the time requested to be honest. however food good

Food was ice cold, packages were wet . Fish wasn’t the greatest. Large cod was better than small cod.

Absolutely full - delicious - was quite busy - would’ve been great if there was more than one staff available to help with orders to avoid queues - otherwise 10/10.

The delivery arrived way ahead of time, however, my order is not properly delivered. I ordered plain but the fish and chips has salt and vinegar. I did not also received the curry sauce which was supposed to be included in my order.

The beef burger, chips, cheesy chips, samosa was nice my partner said. They did there best I ordered a leek and cheese PIE - they sent a cheese and onion slice so I didn't go hungry (which is a really lovely thought, thank you) I then ordered a American apple pie 😊- I got a mcdonalds look-a-like apple pie/fruit pie. I then ordered luxury double cream 😋- theu sent me elmlea double 270ml alternative to cream. After the money I spent and the description of items I am disappointed!!

Food never arrived! Want a full refund! Order from here regular aswell so to just mess us about this late at night is bang out of order, it’s now 10:45 and iv got to now go cook something!! WHY ACCEPT THE ORDER JUST TO GET MY MONEY!!!

this is the first time I've had a bad experience. so will just put down to a one off. I normally order mixed meat and chips for less than £10. I went big today and ordered a mixed kebab with no salad, upgraded too. Got large chips to go with it. cost over £17. the kebab came and was full of salad, so much that the meat ratio was so bad, that my normal £10 order has more. so I basically paid £7 for a pitta, salad, less meat and a few more chips

Not only was this order late Cold and soggy I do not expect to be shouted at over the phone by a very rude man and hung up on 3 times I will not be using you again and will expect a call from the manager about this matter asap

No salad with the kebab, kebab was dripping in grease. Pinapple fritter was soggy and portions were very small. On this occasion we were very very disappointed. Chips were lovely. We have had lots of orders from here and unfortunately this has put me off ordering agin. £ 33 and most of it in the bin.

Excellent food as always but we chose no salt and vinegar and a cob with no butter. Very disappointing to get food covered in salt and a cob with butter which had melted into the bread.

Chicken was perfect and the chips devine

Had a message through the app to say that the food was on its way, a 10-15 minute journey max. Arrived 30 minutes later, stone cold and inedible.

Fish was quite dry, unusual for Angies. everything else was spot on as usual
